Dear Percy,

Remember this side of your family? Guess what? They want to spend this Christmas with you. By 'they' I mean just me, your dad, your witch aunt, and your uncle H. We have a way for you to spend time with us right here in Olympus, under my youngest brother's nose.

I will be waiting for you on the 23rd in San Francisco.

Your aunt.

That was the letter Percy got early in the morning while having breakfast. A brown barn owl dropped the letter on Percy's plate, before flying off again.

While Percy was reading, Harry and Ron leaned over from either side to read it. Luckily Hestia was smart enough not to let out any excess information.

"So, you are leaving for Christmas?" Harry asked, as if sad for some reason. Probably because it would leave Harry and Ron as the only 2 Gryffindors who would remain in Hogwarts during Christmas.

"Yeah, unfortunately. Don't worry though. I will just be gone for like a week. I bet Christmas at Hogwarts will be fun." Percy said, trying to cheer up Percy. Harry nodded half heartedly.

On the morning of the 23rd, when the Hogwarts express was leaving from Hogwarts, Percy hopped on the train along with Hermione, who was also going back to her parents. From London, Percy vapor travelled to San Francisco.

San Francisco was the new heart of the Greek gods. Since New York was destroyed, the gods just shifted west once again, this time landing there.

Although Percy knew that it was in Francisco, he had no idea where the gateway was exactly. He spent his 11 years of life staying in Hestia's mortal house, or in Atlantis or Elysium. Percy prayed in his mind hoping Hestia would hear him.

"Hello, Percy." Hestia appeared right behind Percy. She was in her 30 years old form, wearing tight jeans and a brown cropped sweater. He turned around and hugged her.

"So, how's Hogwarts?" asked Hestia.

"You already know right? I know you have been watching me."

"Yes. But I want to know it from you." Hestia said.

As Percy was recounting everyone he had met and everything he had done, he realized, he had reached the Golden Gate bridge.

"Why are we here?" Percy asked.

"Well, it's the new entrance to Olympus." Hestia replied.

"Uh-huh? I don't see any tall buildings here." Percy said, looking around.

"Gateway to Olympus don't always need tall towers or buildings or anything high for that matter" Hestia replied. As the two of them walked through the busy crowd of mortals on the bridge.

"Here." She said stopping suddenly at the  middle of the bridge. "Look down."

Staring down, Percy could only see the clear blue water of the Pacific.

"What?" he asked looking up at Hestia.

"Look again. Focus on the air above the water not the water." She advised. Percy stared hard at everything trying to find something.

Until he did.

"What the - " Percy gasped, shocked. Earlier he could not see it, but once he caught a glimpse of a mist flowing through with a strange omega shaped structure, he couldn't focus on anything else. Now whenever he closed his eyes and opened it, the mist came into focus right away, and it seemed to get more bigger and more distinct with time. In a moment, it got as large as Percy himself.

"That's the entrance to Olympus?"

"Yep," she replied. The mist floated upwards, and passed through the bars around the bridge. It formed a kind of cloudy gateway on the footpath. The mortals seemed unaware of everything happening. One mortal walked right past the gateway, beside Hestia, without anything happening around her.

"So we walk in now?" Percy asked.

"This gate will make us enter right in Zeus' territory. So, before we go, let's go over some stuff. As soon as you walk past the gate, Zeus will know someone has entered. Now, he believes you are dead. Let's keep it that way or he's gonna be killing us. For that, you need a new name and identity." Hestia explained. "How does Persephone sound for you?"

"Persephone - hold on. Isn't that a girl's name?" Percy asked.

"Yes. Exactly."

"So, how . . . " Percy asked confused.

"Well, you are going in as a daughter of Hecate, named Persephone. Nobody is gonna suspect anything. It's a brilliant plan."

Percy gave a blank look to Hestia. Hestia snapped her fingers.

"What happened?" Percy asked, as she saw Hestia trying to hold her laughter. "Is this a joke or something?"

"No. It's just that your so cute." Hestia smiled and conjured a large mirror in the air, for Percy to look at himself.

Infront of Percy was standing Persephone with her long raven hair, sea green eyes. Her face was now a bit different. Overall it looked like someone used an Instagram filter effects to convert Percy to a girl.

"What in Hades?" Percy shrieked, her voice now a pitch higher. Percy didn't know he could shriek like that. "Oh my gods. Change me back."

"Don't worry. It's temporary. Effects last for only 1 week. By the time you board for Hogwarts express next week, you will get your old self back again."

"But- How do I even -" Percy started.

"Don't worry about stuff. Everything's totally normal. Also don't tell me you have a problem being a girl for a week."

"No- well yes but no- not like that but - well What the hell. Never mind." Percy muttered conflicted.

"Good. At least be glad you are cute."

Percy looked at her long slender arms. "Well I guess I am hot," she thought to herself.

"Come on. Let's not keep the others waiting." Saying that, Hestia walked through the mist, followed by Percy.

Olympus was a beauty from outside. The ultimate definition of beauty. Since Kronos' invasion, there was a lot of redesigning and right now, it looked like paradise. The entrance had led Percy and Hestia to the top of a mountain. Percy had come here a number of times earlier, but usually whenever she used to come, her main focus had been trying to save herself or a bunch of gods. This time, it was a strictly visiting time, just a invitation from her family.

"So, where's the rest of the party?"  Percy asked.

"You will be meeting them at my palace."

Hestia's palace. Despite staying with her aunt for so long, Hestia's palace was one place he had never visited in either of her two lives. Quite far away from that hill top, across a small lake, in the midst of nature, there was a cabin, large and beautiful enough to be called a palace, but not quite. However, it smelled like home, a safe space.

As Percy walked inside the cabin, a wave of aura hit her. 3 powerful gods, in the same place - it tends to create powerful vibes.

"Hey!" Percy greeted as soon as she spotted Poseidon and Hades playing cards. Poseidon in his 'Hawaii costume' and Hades in his 'manager' dress. Both of them were holding 2 cards each and staring at each other intently, as if waiting for a final moment that would decide the entire game.

"Hold up Percy. I wanna make your dad lose this time." Hades said, while waiting for Poseidon to pull a card.

"That's what he has been trying to do for the last 3 games. and failing miserably to do so, might I add." Poseidon smirked. He pulled a card.

Hades grinned. Poseidon lost his smirk.

"Dammit. Broke my near perfect record!" Poseidon cursed. Hades did a victory dance.

"Wow." Poseidon said, looking at the new Percy.

"Wow indeed." Hades said as well.

"Well, Poseidon and Hades. Meet your new daughter and niece respectively for the week." Hestia introduced.

"Holy - wow." Hecate almost swooned as she came in from another room and looked at Percy. "You look good."

Now many of you may be thinking of Hecate as that crazy old witch lady who liked mixing kids in boiling pots of soup and eat them up. Well, that was just one part of her. Usually her normal self was like your fun chemistry teacher who loved experimenting and making things blow up. Also, she did not eat kids, which was kind of a bummer.

"Come on up now, Percy. We got a lot to talk about." Hestia said, taking Percy upstairs. The others followed up.

It was hard to Percy to imagine all these. The lord of the dead and gloomy underworld, the lord of seas and cool beaches, the best cook and most peace loving yet terrifying goddess, a titaness witch, and a demigod wizard - currently a demigoddess - with a crazy life - these 5 people going out on brunch together as a crazy normal family. Olympus had some really good restaurants with heavenly food.

"So, how's things going on in the new camp?" Percy asked after a while to hier father. It had been 12 years since she died and was reborn. After the camp had been destroyed, the demigods with the help of the gods built a new camp somewhere in California. When she was young and recovering her memories, Hestia had made her promise to never go back to the camp. Percy knew that all her old friends believed she was dead, and it was better that way.

"Well, they are pretty fine, doing well. Their numbers are pretty much constant over the years." Poseidon answered, as if trying to dismiss the topic. Percy had always noticed that whenever she tried to talk to the gods about the other demigods or gods, they were a bit wary of the topic. Percy did not try to push the topic.

"Well, we are going surfing tomorrow first thing in the morning." Poseidon said, once they finished their food.

"I thought we had already established who is the better surfer." Percy smirked.

"Oh no no no - that was an unfair round. This time we will see."

And that brings the end to another chapter. For the next one or two chapters it's gonna be Persephone, and not Perseus. After these chapters, Percy is gonna return to Hogwarts and we will resume the HP arc from there.

I have got great stuff planned for next chapter. Hope you enjoy.

Ciao
