Opera's Pov

I was walking to lesson which is familiar class but when I get there I see Lord Sullivan shouting for her Highness with her not in sight and deciding to try and look for her. After around 5 minutes I see her walking up to Sullivan and him being very panicky seeing if she's alright. But then I notice that she's got a bag of treats and a book with king Derkila's bookmark so she probably saw her farther and went to talk to him for a couple of minutes. I went over "hey is everything alright now?"I said scaring layla "hey you scared me" she said in a childish offensive sort of manner as if she was joking but I apologized for scaring her as it wasn't my intention to scare her and she obviously understood.

Layla's Pov

After Sullivan left to go do his work in his office I was left standing by a defensive opera who was ready to pounce if anyone even said anything even remotely horrible. People were looking at opera and laughing "look how ridiculous he is for trying to protect a little child that's probably rank 1" "actually I'm rank zayne(7) and he's just protecting me because that's what he's been ordered to to by uncle Sullivan, also let's not forget that I'm taller than you" I said, shocking the rest of the students "holy shit Sullivan has a niece, aa shit were doomed" most of them groaned "actually I'm not biologically his niece I'm derkila's daughter" I explained making some of them afraid and some not believing me and wanting to hurt them as opera tried to attack them but to his surprise I stopped him "hey opera, how about you save your energy and let my familiars handle this" opera stood in confusion as I put my arms out asking them to go back to normal hight to scare some people as they started to grow to their original hight and slithered off my hand and started flying in a circle around me in the air and one landing in front of me whilst one behind me with both of them with a protective attitude.

Kalego's Pov

"Well that lesson was a rollercoaster of emotions to say the least ,atleast nothing is happening right no-" as my thoughts were cut of by the teacher speaking "alright everyone we'll be going to the field to join your upperclassmen with their families lesson" I walk out to the field with layla behind surrounding by the two most rarest familiars surrounding her and they look like hers"are these her familiars? " I thought with happiness for her but still curiousity as we see then go in front of her and bow their heads as he starts strocking them everyone in the case was shocked but don't get me wrong it's impressive, but for her? The princess? I didn't think so. And best thing is she looks so eligent whilst strocking them like all stress left, as if she had any-' I was brought back to reality by a hand going in front of my face.I go and look to see who it is and the hand just happens to be layla's. I intently step back a bit from surprise as she starts speaking "sorry for scaring you, but your class is over there now, you were just lost in thought so they left you, and I thought that was extremely unfair" "oh well I don't have a familiar anyway so I won't be participating" I said trying to not make it seem so bad, but her noticing my reaction she hugged me which made me shocked with my armes were at a 45° angel to hers and I felt my face heating up before I could move she starts speaking again "sorry I didn't ask for your promition, it's just you looked so sad so i-i just wanted to surprise you, also your really warm and comfy" this made my heart skip a beat and she could tell I was embarresed for sure, she had to. That's when my face starting to get really warm in the face which I knew it was from my embarrassment until I hear her speek again "e-erm s-sorry this is probably embarrassing yo-" I caught her of guard by placing my hand on her back and she snuggled into me even more, I try and calm down my embarrassed face and I do but she then speaks against "if your really mad about not having a familiar, you can use your cerbian or you can sit on the side with me I have two so I might need help" I was looking down at her while she was was bright red so I tried calming her nerves "sure, I'll help you with yours; cerbian isn't for that sort of thing, he's more to attack" "okay, lets go then" she said getting of me and pulling me over to the side of the field

Layla's POV

Once my familiars shrank and became my bracelets again I noticed kalego within a group of students and he was looking straight at me. The rest of the students in the group started walking over which made me realize that we were doing a combined losson but they just left kalego standing there lost in thought so I went over to him to take him out of it I got over to him and waved in front of his face "sorry for scaring you, but your class is over there now, you were just lost in thought so they left you, and I thought that was extremely unfair" I said restraining myself from pouting and looking like a massive simp "oh well I don't have a familiar anyway so I won't be participating" I hear him say with a sad sort of tone "has he been sad about this the entire time? Does he want a little animal I can lend him one of mine for a while" I thought to myself but I then desided that I should hug him to calm him down or distract him in a way "sorry I didn't ask for your promition, it's just you looked so sad so i-i just wanted to surprise you, also your really warm and comfy" I said trying to defuse the tention but realizing that his face was going red which I'm glad the plan worked but I then got really embarrassed and tried calming myself but failing and trying to hide the nervousness in my voice "if your really mad about not having a familiar, you can use your cerbian or you can sit on the side with me I have two so I might need help" I suggested and then I heard him say "sure, I'll help you with yours, cerbian isn't for that sort of thing, he's more to attack" I was shocked but delited "okay, let's go then" I exitedly said grabbing his wrist and pulling him to the side of the field and sitting down there "hey you two please come out but not big" I said talking to my familiars as they slithered off my wrist onto my hands sepretly as I give him the black demon-snake "this is shadow, it's element is shadow or anything dark" I said explaining the familiar to him "cup your hand together but flat" giving him instructions as shadow slithers onto his hand as I start explaining the one in my hand "this is snowie, they are a demi-gorgan , as you could guess from the name their element is ice or well the temperature of it" he looked at we the entire time I was explaining "the teachers think that they have to serve you just because of the contract but that's not the case, you have to care for them for them to reach it's full power to protect you instead of following blind orders" he said as I look at him with admiration. As I snap out of it "that's also like security demons in a way, if you treat them with disrespect they won't help unless it's an order, but if you do they help you to their full ability, it's a shame people don't realize, but that's the main reason all farthers security guards listen to him, also because he's not a bitch" I say laughing after the last part with kalego trying to hold his laugh but I just kept seeing him shaking his tourso as I laughed even more at that than before but he then starts to calm down and so do i.

After a while I look up and notice that opera is look at us with his ears slightly flickering with his tail swaying from one side to another "awe look at opera his tail is awaying" I said to kalego as he looks up in surprise as he didn't realize that he was here and looks back at the snake "cats pountes at snakes don't they?" He said trying to wined me up whilst smirking as I said "opera you better not pounse at my familiars" as both of us started laughing with kalego's smirk dropping. I then looked down at my leg where snow was curled up while very tiny and I couldn't help but scream "uwaa they'r so cute and tiny" "Mhm" kalego said and opera sits down next to me "what are their names" opera said starting a conversation "erm well the snake kal is holding is called shadow and this is snowie"I said" their names are based of the element they control"I continued "aa nice" opera said with more enthusiasm as I've ever seen him.
