Layla's pov

"She keeps talking about humans with wings, tails and horns do they even know that they don't even have any" I thought to myself getting irritated with this girl. Especially since she's supposed to teach us about familiars. "Hey kal, do any of you have paper I can borrow?" I asked in a whisper making sure that I'm not too loud to get in ttroubl. He then goes to the middle of his book and rip the folded A4 peace of paper from the center of the book and handed it to me in complete silence. "thanks, hey sorry. how about a spear pen?" I said feeling really bad about having to ask for multiple things.
"no, but I will" he stated and looked towards shichiro "oi i needs a pen" he wispers and shichiro looked at him and then started to search his pockets and give him a pen.
"here you go" shichiro wispers back as he sees him give it to me.
"thanks chiro" i whisper to him as shichiro smirks at us, but wispers back "it's fine no worries" he replied.
"and thanks kal for going out of your way to do that, I really appreciate it" I whispered with a bit of light pink in my cheeks with him matching the same face.
"It's whatever, you asked me so I delivered" he said calmly, that was so calm and really attractive, and I felt my cheeks got even warmer than there were before but I calmed my self pretty quickly and started drawing what kalego looked like as a familiar after a rough minute this is what it looks like

"What is that?" kalego asks in a whisper.
"erm well it's an owl, I just haven't finished it's other features yet" I whisper back. After another rough two minutes minutes I finished the rough sketch and it now looks like this.

"look how cute it is" I said sliding it in front of kalego on his desk as he looks down.
"sure" he said as I was internally laughing because I know that's him yet he doesn't know it yet.
"hey chiro look how adorable this owl is" I whisper sliding the paper towards him as his eyes looked like, if this was in the anime then they would be sparkeling
"this looks so cute I want to see one this cute and fluffy" he wispers back to me.
"I know isn't it just the cutest" I replied in a wisper and a big smile as chiro looked at me his face with sparkalie eyes turned into a face with a masive smirk on it.

I didn't realize what he was smirking about until I realized I was leaning over kalego with him leaning back in his chair out of surprise and embarrassment and once I looked up at him my face went red and I returned to slouching in my chair while covering my red face, as kalego sits back to normal controling his facial expression and temperature as some of the class noticed this and laughed at me, thinking he doesnt care like he doesn't about the rest of the class, making me uncomfortable having multiple of the girls try and get with him it never worked so they just thought he was aromantic but little did they know he had fallen head over heals for me...and I'm just in embarrassment that I couldn't calm my embarrassment.

At the end of the lesson Sullivan came to collect me, so I gave the pen back to shichiro and showed Sullivan my drawing after my attention span left. We then went to the field where familiar class is happening which Sullivan told me "this is your chance to show off your familiars, and opera will be in this class, he's my security demon so if you want to see him you can" he explained.

"wait opera is your security demon?!? You don't treat him badly do you?" I asked with surprise.
"what do you take me for? Of course not" be replyed.
"sorry, I just don't like it when people treat others horribly just because there in a lower position" I said rubbing the back of my neck with nervousness.

"It's fine, I completely understand, I don't like when people do that either, oh look were here" Sullivan explained as we walked onto the field. When Sullivan was mentioning to the teacher that I would be joining them today I saw farther at the end of the field with him waving at me to go over to him so I did. When I finally reached him, he spoke "I believe you wanted this?" Handing me my book I was currently reading.
"yeah thank you. And sorry for talking back to you earlier, I shouldn't have" I said sincerely as he replied.
"it's fine, my dear child, I shouldn't have been so aggressive and demanding about it" he said as he place his hand on my head "Layla?!? Where did you go?" I heard Sullivan yell.
"well there goes uncle Sully I'll see you when I get home" I said.
"here is a couple snacks you need fuel to get around" he says handing me a bag full of treats before disappearing.
"welp bye then" I thought while laughing to myself I walk back to where I left Sullivan with him then noticing me, and running up to me.

"where were you?" He said worriedly.
"over there with farther" I replied while I pointed to the area I was previously in. "he gave me, my book and some snacks, why?" I continued.
"a lot of students have been causing trouble laitly and hurting other students" he explained.
"oh I didn't know, sorry for worrying you" I apologized.
"it's fine just don't wonder to far from an adult alright" he said with a relieved voice only now releasing the built up worry.
"Mhm, I understand, sorry again uncle Sully" I spoke in a disappointed voice since I should have realized earlier and mentioned to him where I was going.
