After dressing up, styling your hair and putting on some makeup, you went to rejoin Linda, to get going with her.

Once you arrived at her place, you briefly knocked on her door. Once she opened it, she was tongue-tied and thunderstruck.

"Good heavens y/n! You're the homecoming queen! Wow... You're so... Breathtaking! You're marvelous!" She frankly responded.

To be honest, you were dressed to kill! You were shining bright like the stars in the night sky.

You two then made your way to the ball, it was a huge castle that made you feel like you were in a fairy tale... You were amazed!

When you both walked in, the party was crowded, full of people dressed just like in the antique times. The ladies were dressed graciously with their tight corsets and prolonged lovely dresses. Meanwhile the men were dressed in suits, nothing more complicated than that.

"Hey, y/n, I'll be going around. Do you want to come with me?" Your best friend suddenly spat out. This made you flinch, but you then responded,

"Oh, no I'm all right. Go and have fun, I'll be nearby." You gently twinkled.

"Are you sure y/n?" She replied, concerned about you.

You then nodded, and she nodded back as she left you there.

After that, you decided to analyze the place. But while doing so, it's when you saw him... A lanky guy, that was well fit. He had these mysterious violet eyes that would cut deep into your eyes.

He also had medium lengthen purple hair, his skin like a vampire. His movements were soulless, but you couldn't resist but be enamored by him... His all movements were elegant, just like a swan. He was a true gentleman...

But you decided to keep yourself out of this, as you didn't want to experience loved one again. Your past lover was... something. Since then, you never wanted to experience love again. You were left broken and flagrant, and you weren't going to let that happen once again.

But something about him is different, that guy you just saw... He seemed hard to read, as he had no genuine expression on his figure. But somehow still made your heart beat a hundred km an hour.

(NOTE: I haven't got much progress on views but it's alright! I'll keep going. So for this chapter I introduced a bit of y/n's interests. AKA. the "lanky guy". For this chapter, main music would be Salvatore by Lana Del Rey the orchestral version because I just feel that it would be a good vibe to go with a masquerade ball, the song is as elegant and charismatic and maybe how Y/N felt when she saw the "lanky guy". :))Anyways, see ya'll next chapter!!)
