AFTER THE GAME OLIVIA WAITED FOR HER RIDE. SHE SPOTTED A FAMILIAR CAR AND she hoped he wouldn't show up. Shane stops in front of her.

"Are you kidding me?" She asks glaring at him.

"Olivia get in." Shane says.

"No!" She exclaims and he gets out of the car. "I'm not getting in the car with you!" She says a little louder.

"Olivia come on! Your mom is waiting." Shane says trying to grab her arm.

She moves back "don't touch me!" The group of guys of the basketball team approach her.

"Liv, he's bothering you?" Jake asks with Lucas and Kyle by him.

"He was just leaving." Olivia glares at him.

"I'll see you at home." Shane says.

She searches for her book and is about to throw it at Shane's car, but Jake stops her, shaking his head at her. They stare at each other, and Olivia knows she still cares for him. "Do you need a ride?" Jake asks her softly.

"I'll call my uncle Derek." She says back softly, not wanting to startle him by how close they are. Lucas and Kyle felt as if they were intruding and gave the two some privacy.

"Come, on I'll drive you home." He says.

"I'm not going home," she says and Jake nods his head.

"Come on, I'll take you to the hospital." He says and she nods and they walk with each other.

"How are your parents?" She asks not trying to be awkward, and she was failing miserably.

"Good, how are yours? I mean besides the shooting." He says, "I heard about your dad, I'm sorry."

"It's fine. Your family sent a get well basket, thank you. The muffins were great." She smiles a little making him laugh.

"I wanted to eat those. But mom said, they were for your dad." He says.

"He was in a coma, for about three weeks, woke up today." She says. "So I ate them."

"I could tell, you wouldn't smile, you punched Nate and Tim." He says.

"Tim deserves it, he's an idiot!" She says laughing.

"What's going on with Kyle?" He asks knowing it's not his place, they only greet each other. They aren't even friends.

"I barley know the guy." She says. "What's going on with Kyle." She wiggles her eyebrows at him making him laugh.

"He's a friend." He says.

"My mom would babysit him and Lucas, to give Karen space. We weren't really friends, I think Brooke is crushing on Lucas." She says.

"You're crushing on Kyle?" He teases her.

"No, there hasn't been anyone since... in a while." she says as he pulls up to the hospital drop off area.

"Hey, tell your dad I'm glad he's getting better." Jake says.

"I will. Thank you, Jake. Goodnight, tell your parents I said hey." She says picking up her bag and gets off, turns around, smiles and waves he smiles and waves back. She walks inside the hospital and is nowhere in sight when he notices she dropped a book.

OLIVIA SAT IN THE OVER NIGHT CHAIR, NURSE CAROL, SOPHIA'S MOTHER GOT her a blanket and pillow. Liv woke up, and Carol calms her down. "It's okay, we'll let it slide this time." Carol says.

"Liv." Rick whispers. She gets up and walks a few step to him, he scoot over. She turns to look at Carol for permission and she nods. Liv lays down with her dad. "Come on, tell me how your day was."

"Well." Liv begin telling him everything.

"Does this Kyle boy like you?" Rick asks.

"No. I don't even know him." She says honestly. "How do you know Kyle?"

"I got my sources." He says making her smile. "How's Jake?" Rick asks, and she sits up surprised.
"I know you, Liv. You get that smile on your face, I remember when he took you out on your first date. He asked me for permission." Rick says.

"Nothing dad, remember we broke up in freshman year." She says and Rick nods, knowing his daughter. She'd never admit to anything unless she's ready, you can't force her hand. "He drove me here, and he's glad you're awake."

"Mom said the Jagielskis sent a get well soon basket." He says.

"Yeah it had good muffins." She says. "You missed out on them." She laughs a little.

"Haha!" He says sarcastically. The two talk until they fall asleep, she caught him up on what he missed.

SHERIFF RICK SULLIVAN IS GOING TO BE DISCHARGED TODAY, THE SULLIVAN HOUSEHOLD couldn't be happier. Liv still wasn't speaking to her mother, she was angry at her. Hurt.

"You're very cheery." Brooke points out.

"Dads coming home today." Liv smiles widely and she hugs Brooke.

"Peyton help! I think Liv is broken. Who broke Liv?" Brooke says feeling scared.

"Brooke, Liv here is a daddy's girl," Peyton says wrapping an arm around Liv's shoulder. "you should remember. She's just happy Ricks coming home." Peyton states.

At the end of the hall stood Jake Jagielski with Liv's book, he didn't mean to read the note but he couldn't help it. She had many poems and he knew her love for poems, ran deep.

"Hey, have you guys seen my journal? Peyton did I leave it in your car?" Olivia asks looking through her bag and locker. "Guys!" Olivia says she looks absolutely panicked.

"Hey, hey. We'll find it." Peyton says trying to calm her down.

"Guys! I wrote something I'm not ready for anyone to see." Liv says, she hasn't told anyone. She told her dad when he was in the coma, but it didn't count.

"Hey, Liv." Brooke says, "it's okay. We'll find it." Peyton's eyes fall on Lucas and Hayley.

"I'll be right back." Peyton tells Liv and Brooke.

"Who gave you a ride, it may be in their car?" Brooke asks.

"Uhm." Liv says and she begins to walk away.

"Olivia Josephine Sullivan!" Brooke says walking after her.

"It's no one." Liv says and Brooke gives her a look, "Fine. But you can't tell anyone, or I'll hurt you."

"Pinky promise." Brooke says and they do pinky promise. Liv takes her to a class room and closes the door.

"Jake drove me." Liv says and Brooke smiles.

"Jake, as Jake your ex boyfriend Jake? Basketball Jake? Jake that you dated since we were kids Jake?" Brooke asks smiling, "the one you lost your virginity to? Jake?" Brooke noticed how much Liv changed after Jake and her broke up, well she just dumped him out of know where. No warning signs, nothing, one day they were all together, the next Liv broke his heart.

"Brooke! It's not a big deal. It's whatever." Liv says, she hurt him, she dumped him out of the blue, he got no warning signs.

"Okay." Brooke says.

"If you tell anyone, I will kick your ass!" Liv says in a serious manner. Brooke nods, being scared of her best friend, she always kept her promise. Just how Liv promised she would kick Brooke's ass if she told "Okay, let's go to class."

"Let's go." Brooke says, and they both leave the classroom.

LIV WAS WALKING TO LUNCH WHEN SOMEONE GRABBED HER ARM AND PULLED HER into an empty class room. She quickly slams the person into the wall next to the door.

"Liv it's me." Jake says sighting out and she lets him go.

"What the hell?" She asks genuinely confused by his actions. Yes he saved her the other night and gave her a ride but it gives him no right to hold her like that.

"Your book." He says holding onto it, and Liv is surprised to see him have it. "It fell in my car, when I dropped you off at the hospital" he says.

She nods, as he gives it to her, "thank you." She smiles a little. "And thank you for the ride."

"Sorry for scaring you." He says.

"You should of known I would have reacted like that." She says slightly rolling her eyes, "but thanks for returning this, seriously,"

"I had a feeling it means a lot." He says and she nods.
"I uh, I heard about your, dad, thats great news." he adds.

"Yeah," She smiles. "Look about, slamming your against a wall." She says with an apologetic smile. "Sorry." She says shoving the journal into her backpack. "But don't pull a girl into a room, that's scary." She tells him closing the zipper in her backpack. "Thanks again." She says before leaving him in the classroom alone, again.

            BY THE TIME THE SULLIVAN TWINS WERE OUT, RICK WAS ALREADY HOME. LORI, Maggie, Glenn, Hershel, Ana, and Carl were home with him. Peyton was kind enough to drop off the Sullivan twins off at home, and Liv promised her dinner or lunch on her. Peyton drive home seeing them twins rush inside to find their dad.

"You're home." Liv smiles seeing her father laying on the couch. She kisses his check giving him a hug, carefully to not hurt him.

"I'm home." Rick smiles.

"Where's Carl?" Junior asks and he hugs his dad.

"With mom and Maggie in the kitchen." Rick says and Liv feels anger inside of her. She had been ignoring and avoiding her mother. She couldn't get the image of her mother cheating out of her head. "You're okay?" He asks her and she smiles and nods. She couldn't tell he dad, not in his condition.

"Just a long day." She says, she hadn't told anyone, and it was eating her up inside. She couldn't even journal about it, if someone found it and used it for the wrong reasons, or if her brothers saw. Everything is a mess. She decided to focus on her dad, the positive, he's home.
