Ahsoka's pov

Now that I've had a whole week to reflect on my choices back at the kyber cave I still was bothered. Was trying to kill Darth Vader a good decision? Pretty much. Was wanting to kill Darth Vader a good decision? Probably not. Was blowing up the cave a good decision? For the most part, yes. But I didn't think about one thing. If the caves are obliterated then how am I going to get my crystals? My thoughts were interrupted by a hard knock on the metal next to the curtain.

"Soka? You good in there?" I forced laughter and a smile to my face. The only thing that brought me joy was knowing Omega probably finished her light saber.

"Yes I'm fine Wrecker. Omega done yet?"

"Yep! She just finished!" He said. I chuckled and pulled the curtain back. I happily jumped off my hamock and jogged into the cockpit where everybody was but when the door opened I practically tripped over Omega on the floor. Which of course caused everyone else to snicker and chuckle.

"Omega what are you doing down there?"

"Making this." She held out her hands higher and a long slim piece of metal arose. I grabbed it in mid air and inspected it. I have never seen a light saber like this before. It was slightly curved with not one, but two holes for the blade to ignite through. I opened it up. She had the crystal and eveeything in the right spot. I closed the saber again and handed it back to her.

"I have never been more proud in my life." Omega blushed at my praise. It was truly a cool light saber.

"Go ahead." Hunter urged her. He wrapped an arm around her shouler and I patted the other one as I leaned down and whispered.

"Ignite the blade." She took a deep breath and with one swift movement she pressed the activate button. Two brilliant icy blue blades shot out of the unique light saber hilt. It was truly beautiful. I've never seen another saber or color like it.
I laughed after examining the saber as a whole.

"Her light thingy is cool and all, but is it supposed to be bigger than her?" At first I glared at Wrecker until I realized he was genuinely curious.

"It's cause we didn't adjust the size yet, Wrecker." He oh'ed and smiled. Omega handed me her saber carefully.

"Which one is the adjustment button?" I asked. Instead she pointed to a little swith in the middle of it.

"Oh. Okay here we go. Try this out for size." I lowered both the hilt amd blade part of the saber a decent amount for her. She grabbed the saber that creepily reminded me of Darth Maul's. But I was even more shocked when she twisted her long saber and it became two shorter ones.

"Whoa! Can yours do that?" Okay now I actually glared at Wrecker.

"No. Well not yet at least. Who knows, I might do some tinkering later." I winked and everybody chuckled. I laughed with them even though I was dead serious. Perhaps it is time I upgrade my own sabers. Omega started waving both her shoto sabers in the air and admired the color it put off. Wrecker got bored and excused himself. I told Omega to go through form III attacks without breaking a limb or a human. She did but as she got more into it I got more out of it. A faint ringing, whistling almost could be heard from outside the cockpit door. My initial thought was 'Wrecker what did you do' but when I opened the door I was surprised to see a hologram of Master Luminara in a prison uniform. It was a disturbing sight to say the least.

"Wrecker what are you watching?"

"I dunno. A person?" I squinted my eyes trying to comprehend the man in front of me. How can he have so much love for his brothers, Omega and I but not have a clue what he's talking about. I rolled my eyes and took the tablet he was looking at into my own hands.

"Hey!"

"Shh. This is important." I slapped a hand over Wrecker's mouth. He let out one muffled grumble then he was done.

"One of the Republic's greatest peacekeepers jedi master Lumina Unduli, is alive." I sighed now knowing that this is just the same generic message Senator Trayvis said last time. I tried not to but couldn't stop myself from listening to the Senator speak about one of my former masters. I was shocked when I heard something unfamiliar.

"As citizens we demand the Emperor produce master Unduli and grant her a fair trial before the entire senate. However I know my dear Emperor will never listen to me." The message wasn't cut off this time! Suddenly I shoved Wrecker out of the way and grabbed his holotablet. He groaned in pain but at the moment all compassion has left my brain. All of my focus was on the recording.

"Give me an exact location you fool!" I shouted even though I knew no one could hear me. Well that's what I thought anyways right before everybody came rushing out of the cockpit to see if Wrecker and I started another battle brawl. We didn't, well he didn't so I just shushed them and pointed at the Senator's message. They oh'ed and watched with me. Hunter seemed more nervous than the others.

"Master Luminara has done many great services to the Republic and if given the chance could be persuaded to join us." And just like that I'm disgusted and appalled. I thought the Senator was good.

"Her captivity at the Spire is unwanted and undeserved. As a Senator and an Imperial citizen I demand that the jedi be released imme-" now the message was cut off. But I gasped when I saw it wasn't by the Empire. Hunter aggressively smashed his fist into the off button. He almost dented/cracked the holotablet. Luckily he didn't but I stared him down as I slowly stood to my feet.

"What do you think your doing."

"I don't think, I know I'm stopping you from making a big mistake. We can't go after Luminara. Remember we already looked into it. The Spire is the most secure facility in the galaxy. Don't you think the last mission was devastating enough?" The last sentence got to me. I bared my teeth and averted my gaze from Hunter. He was right but he also wasn't. And that was a low move bringing up that mission right now so clearly Hunter is desperate.

"Hunter you don't know what your asking of me! Luminara is a jedi master! I have to at least try." I tried to turn to walk away but he grabbed my shoulders and spun me around again.

"This isn't just about rescuing Unduli, is it?" A small sniffle escaped my mouth. He tapped my chin and forced my head up to look at him.

"Ahsoka were all here for you. Please, talk to us." I wiped my nose amd nodded. I sat bacm on the crate with Omega and Hunter next to me, as well as Tech, Echo and Wrecker in front of me.

"Master Luminara was a jedi master, and you all know she had a padawan, correct?" They all nodded.

"Well she was my best friend, Bariss Offee. Until of course she betrayed me and framed me for her crimes as you all well know. But I know deep down I'm the one who's guilty." Everybody gasped. Omega wrapped her little arms around my waist and squeezed so tight I wheezed.

"What do you mean guilty?"

"I mean if she had a better friend or better mentor then perhaps she wouldn't have done the things she did. I failed Bariss. I refuse to fail her master too. If I saved Luminara it would make me feel better about myself which I really need right now." Hunter's facial expression softened.

"Yeah I-I know the feeling. It is tough knowing that someone is out there you love but you can't do anything about it. The overwhelming guilt just crushes you." All of the other batch members looked at they're feet. Did I miss something?

"Who are you missing Hunter?"

"An old friend. His name was Crosshair. He used to be a part of the bad batch. He used to be our brother." Oh now I remember hearing about a Crosshair. He is a mutated clone just like the rest of them, minus Echo and Omega. Well, just Echo. I decided otd be best to keep Omega being a clone a secret for now.

"Yeah Echo told me about him. I'm sorry about Crosshair. But surely you know how I feel. Maybe after we get Luminara back I can help you with Crosshair." Hunter looked at me confused.

"What do you mean help him? Crosshair can be helped?" I nodded suddenly feeling a little bit perkier.

"Mhm. If I can save my Rexter I can certainly save your brother too. All I'd have to do is get his inhibitor chip out." Wait a minute. If Crosshair has an inhibitor chip then...
Does the rest of the bad batch have one too?

"What about you boys? You have had your chips removed, right?" I was praying their answer was yes or else, well, I don't really know what I'd do. Tech cleared his throat loudly and got all our attention.

"Our chip removals are not needed since we are genetically engineered clones our mutations have affected our chips making them inactive as of now." A chill went down my spine at his final words. As of now...

"You know what Soka, I'm gonna get you to that Spire thingy!" Wrecker suddenly stood up and wrapped one arm around my waist and lifted me up. He started walking with me dangling out of his arm like I weighed nothing! Actually to him I probably did weigh nothing.

"Wrecker put me down! I can walk myself ya know!" He didn't give up. He opened the cockit and plopped me down on the pilots seat. Wrecker reached for the navicomouter but stopped.

"How the hell do I do this?" I rolled my eyes but chuckled. Soon everybody flooded into the cockpit. I moved over to the colilots seat and let Tech take his rightful place. Omega sat on the arm and the rest filed in behind us.

"So Hunter. Brave enough to take a trip to the Spire?" He hummed and touched his thumb to his chin like Obi-wan always used to do.

"It is risky. I'd have to hear a compelling argument." I could detect the teasing and playfulness in his voice so I laughed.

"Well we wouldn't have to just rescue Luminara. We'll discuss the plan in greater depth a little later but I'm sure you could also rob the Empire too. Force only knows what they have stored in a facility like that." Hunter smiled and nodded. Tech imputed the coordinates to the Stygeon system. We both looked at each other in approval. I pulled the hyperspace lever and just like that we were off. Omega, Hunter and I were chatting about inhibitor chips until I noticed Echo open the door to the exit.

"Where are tou going Echo?"

"I-I just have, a... f-friend! A friend to uh, speak to. Privately. Um.. bye?" That was extremely suspicious but I've known Echo long enough to know he's trustworthy. Whatever mischeif he's gotten us into now I'm sure it'll all work out for the better. My stomach hardened, I could feel a pit forming. I gulped as I watched hyperspace. I could sense danger at our destination but I can sense something else too. Was this another bad idea or maybe just fate?
