Omega's pov
"Open the hatch!" Fives, Echo and I yelled on the other side. We waited a full second. All the chaotuc sounds of blaster fire and horrid screams came to a stop. Now all that could be heard was the slight hiss of an oxygen tube that was cut down. Once I realized no one was coming to let us out I jammed my thick aqua blade into the door and made a small circle.  I dive rilled ghrough ut and stood immediately, then using the force to ilen the contril panel to open the charred door I just cut for fives and Rcho to walk by.

"Alright starting to see why your in charge now." The proud smirk just wouldn't leave as it overtook my facial features. It'd be a lie if I said that I wasn't enjoying calling the shots at least a little bit.

"Yeah yeah, I'm awesome, I know. Keep your ears open for a voice like yours, just younger." Fives nodded as we picked up the pace running down the hall. As it came to a split end I made a quick decision and chkse to go right but as soon as I turned the corner I knew something wasn't right. It's like I felt a wave of just pure determination washed over me and behind me, except that determination wasn't mine. No warning to the arc twins whatsoever, I turned around with my pistol pointed at the man hanging from the ceiling with my light saber held close to my body for extra protection in the other hand. Once Fives and Echo saw where I was aiming they weren't slow to join.

"Hello, vod." Exactly 2 srconds later he skyrocketed past us all the way to the broken dkor I just opened. I gasped st the sudden movement but still under the pressure I was able to lift my hand out with the slightest movement to stop him even with the jetpack on full thrusters. Eventually his jet pack ran outta juice and he fell with a metal clank to the floor. However he got up as soon as he fell and brought out his own different style of pistol.

"Who do you think you are calling me a brother, you jetti!" Seriosuly. He doesn't even know who I am yet and he's already callung me a slur. Well I guess some things never change.

"Boba do you not recognize me?" I could look through the force to see his facial expression under his helmet. It was hard and unforgettable. I haven't seen his face in literal years but the last time I did he was the happiest I'd ever seen him.

"It's me, Mega. Your sister. Well- kinda. It's a long story." Under Boba's helmet his gave still didn't soften even after knowing who I am. We made eye contact for a split second through his visor as he said the words,

"You are not my sister. Just as these lowly clones aren't your brothers." Fives so obviously wanted to intervene with Echo but I held them back

"Aliit ori'shya tal'din." I replied hotly to his claim that he was my only real family. I knew Boba always lived Mando'a and he hsed it more and more frequently as his anger rised. Figured I might as well beat him to it.

"What did you say?" Echo asked.

"I told him that family is more than blood. Family is- are the people who stand by your side in your darkest times."

"Gar an Aruetii. A Hut'uun!" He just called me an outsider, a liar. A coward. That's the worst possible insult in the entire language of Mando'a,  the language he taught me. It might've stung a little but I didn't let him see that.

"Copaani mirshmure'cye, vod?" He scoffed with a snarl at my comeback. I asked him if he's looking for a smack in the face. Then again I couldn't see his face because he was wearing his fathers armor.

"Although I may be upset, you aren't my mission. Stay out of the way, and you and your little clone buddies can walk away from this." I hummed acting like I was actually considering his offer.

"Although the offers tempting, I'm gonna have to say-" I fell to the ground. Boba shot a singular stun ray amd that ray hit me square in the chest but my willpower couldn't be beated by a mere stun bolt. Fives qnd Echo didn't need permission to start shooting at him wildly. Fives leaned down and checked my pulse whule Echo charged the enemy.

"You okay?" I blew out a breath and straightened myself up.

"Yeah. Yeah I'm good."

"Good because we could really use your help right now." He motioned to Echo just as Boba headbutted him, it was the puny plastoid against thick pure beskar. Gee, I winder who would win. Surprise Echo fell to the ground probably unconscious. I reactivated my light saber in my dominant hand and force pushed Echo away from all the action. Fives rushed in behind me shooting at Boba but the stun setting was doing very little against his armor. Each shot I was taking at Boba was barelt more effective because each strike or blow I attempted Boba easily brough up his wrist cuffs to block. I put all my strength into this next strike, he had to bring yp both of his arms to create an X in order to block it. Fives took the tume to sneak up behind Boba and was about to stun him where the beskar didn't cover him, but Boba jerked and pushed him backwards. Unfortunately he broke away from my grip yet again. Thankfully Fives and I were on the side protecting the opened door.

"Just let me pass and I'll remove that skughole out of your hair!" He yelled bedore charging at me again with no weapon in sight except his bare fists. It gave me an idea. When he got close enough to throw the first pynch I lut my light saber away then used the same gand to catch his fist, and the other to smack right on his forehead. Our breath hitched as I merged our minds together temporarily as I made him think about the last memory I had of him.

"Boba!"

"Mega!" I watched the memory with my own two eyes sparkling. I couldn't see the spirited glint in my eye, I just knew if was there. Seeing the childlike wonder in the eyes of a younger me and and younger brother, it was heartwarming to say the least. How I miss it.

"It feels like I haven't seen you in forever! How are you?" He asked the smaller me from my vision. This was the most vivid memory I have of him probably because it was the most recent. When I looked into his eyes though, those are what got to me. The dark hazel brown were so welcoming to me. Now when I looked into his eyes theough the visor today, all I saw was black through such a clear reflective surface I could see the dim void of space floating through them. They were so dull and emotionless I was actually second guessing whether he really was human or not.

"I'm getting by. Nala Se isn't the most open person to be working with but she'll have to do. How about you? What have you and Jango been up to lately?" The smaller Boba shrugged. He was still in his special cadet uniform with the hair that I always teased him for because I said his bangs look like a mustache.

"Great! Dad has been going on more missions lately... but he said on his next one he'll take me along with him! Said something about a jetti coming to visit us soon and how I should be prepared to jumo and run if needed... but don't worry! I'm sure we could take you with us." Please don't. Well I know better now but back then Boba and I clung onto each other like Fives and Echo. We were each others rock but it was judt so ling ago it seemed almost none existent.

"That'd be amazing! I've always dreamed of seeing the stars. Maybe even becoming a pilot. What do you think?" At least I was getting a good reaction out of Boba since I sucked him into this memory. I know it was a shit move on my part, but it was working.

"Well you kjow my opinion. Anythings better than-" I sighed and looked at the Boba from my present time who I was just fighting. I held my lifht saber in my lap ready to jump into actuon as a samll warning.

"Yes yes I know. 'Anything is better than a jedi'. You say it everytime."

"And I mean it. Every time. Jetti-"

"Jedi." My smaller self corrected him. My brother had always thought jedi to be creepy. Jango told us both how they basically kidnapped children and forced them to join the jedi order. I'm sure the old man told Boba more lies to make a jedi seem like the absolute worst possible proffesion to ever become a part of. That might also be another reason for the hostility we have between us.

"Jetti, jedi. Same thing. The point is it doesn't matter. Because ylur gonna become the best pilot around. Heck, when that jet- jedi comes around you'll be the first person I call to come fly us away. How would you like that?" My heart clenched as I gave him a side hug in the memory. It was so precious, so wholesome. What happened? Now the closest we are to that is when I just trucked him a second ago.

"Do you really think I could do it?" The kind Boba in the memory draled an arm around my younger self, giving her a gentle squeeze.

"We've been raised to believe we can and will do anything and everything." That was the last day we saw each other. It was the day the galaxy went to war, the day my brother left, the day I started my job at the age of 9, the day when the clone wars began, the day it all went downhill from there. Until I met the bad batch and discovered them of course. As the vision or my memory faded away so did Boba's resentment towards me.

"We were close once. We did so much for each other but now-"

"Now you've moved on. I get it. I understand it. But I don't want to hear about it." Boba cut me off which mad eme angrier. Maybe if he let me finish a sentence I could've made him feel differently.

"Te rebellion Ru'kel draar dinuir ni a chance. Te empire cuyir win'a at waadar ni par getting te bora done, thats jate luubid par ni." 'The rebellion would never give me a chance. The Empire is willing to pay me for getting the job done. That's good enough for me.' Is exactly what he said to me. It might've distracted me enough for him to elbow me in the stomach then sweep my feet out from under me. My lavk of awareness frustrated me. Why can't I sense his moves like I can Darth Vader's or Ahsoka's?

"So long vod." He said before speinting down the hall when Fives tried to tackle him he succeeded. Fives was on top of Boba punching his helmet, that didn't seem smart until the helmet was lnocked off and now Fives was punching him in the face. All I could do was stand and watch as my brother beat my other brother to a pulp.

"Gev!" I sparked both the beater and beated persons attention but not fully. Fives looked at me in a funny way to ask what the kriff I just said.

"I mean, stop!" It was amazing how Fives hopped right off Boba but still had his stun pistols trained on his temple in case Boba tried something. I looked into Boba's eyes to see them crack. They weren't as unforgiving as before, instead they held a newfound soft spot.

"Mega?" Hearing it from his lower, older voice after all this time made my heart pound with anxiety and hope.

"Yes vod?" When he koiked me in the eyes the unnocent look switched off his face to a sultry smirk I have never seen before. Suddenly the pounding of anxiety got louder while the hole was starting to diminish.

"Tell my father I said hello." Oh you have got to be shitting me. I went through that crappy sad memory for nothing!? I watched and rolled my eyes as Boba went lump in Fives arm and fell free from his grip. Boba's hand flew to the vambrace he wore to cue the scorching fire producer. I leaped across the room and jumped in front of Fives with my hands out, I blocked the fire from getting any closer with the force. Once Boba discovered it was pointless we went to fist fighting each other. It wasn't the quickest way to knock him out but it was the most convenient. When I jumped up and then immediately ducked after in my crouching position I did a back roll to avoud his vambrace wire and when I was upright, unsheathed my large vibro blade.

"Last chance. Surrender now or forever hold your peace." Fives elbowed me and mouthed aomething about that not being the right saying. I shrugged and tried to stay as ready as possible for a possible surprise attack.

"I object." Boba said as we glared each other down. He shot my blade out of my hands, then I shot his blade out of his hands. Then he used the wire in his vambrace to steal my own blaster from me.

"Nice moves Mega, but I'm not the same kid I was 4 years ago. Tricks like that don't work on-" he was cut off mid sentence. Fives and I stared at the swaying body of Boba until he fell over to reveal Echo standing with a fired blaster.

"Oh thank you so much." No hesitation was showed as I strutted over to hug the living shit outta him.

"Just completing the mission Megs. No hard feelings right?" He asked with a certain gentleness in his tone that I could never be angry at. Fives joined the hug, sniffling a bit. Echo and I chuckled at him.

"Oh I see how it is. I get weepy one time and it's a full on giggle fest." Niether of us quit chuckling though until we heard Fives light heated tone change to a grave one.

"Of course not! Thank you for doing what I couldn't bare to do." A small smile graced his thin lips dry lips as he patted my back.

"Uh, guys?" We broke away from our little hug. Fives left the hug a little bit ago and now he was staring blankly at the spot where Boba was- oh no.

"W-Where did he go?" My voice cracked and I kriffing hated how weak it sounded. Just then a certain Captain's voice flooded my ear with the dreaded words.

"Unauthorized departure in the Hangar bay. Sargeant what is that?" Hunter never responded.

"Sargeant Hunter do you copy?" Rex asked again. No response. Immediately the worst possible scenarios flooded my brain. All I could see was Hunter's lifeless body littered on the ground with blood seeping from his chest as his face slowly pales and he exhales his last breath in this forceforsaken galaxy. I blinked rapidly trying to clear my head of the gruesome image but everytime I shut my eyes it's all I could see.

"Omega do you copy?" I calmed my breathing down first like Ahsoka taught me then pressed fhe com link switch at the mid section of my helmet.

"I'm here. But Boba isn't. And that scares me."

"Who?" I couldn't surpress the groan that slipped out. It seems like Ahsoka and I are always explaining our family tree to the same people.

"My brother Boba! You know, the one who attacked us!"

"Good god, waht a heartwarming reunion. Do you know where he went?" Rex asked through the com. My heart stopped in my chest.

"H-H-" It sounded like I was gonna sneeze but I couldn't say the name with the shift in the force I just felt. Hunter's force prescence was gone. Without giving any warning or info of where I was going, I sprinfed down the hall smashing through the small remaining door I previously cut down with my saber. I activated my light saber and cut through the manufacturing compufer for the ray shields so they all flickered off allowing me a straight path to Offee's cell. I just stopped breathing all together at the sight. But at the same time I was overcome with a tsunami of relief. Hunter, Tech and even Wrecker were trapped behind Bariss Offee's cell door. Not dead, just unconscious.

"Oh thank the force." The pressure of relief almost took me down on my knees. It hit in tidal waves just crashing down on me. Fives amd Echo weren't far behind either. They borh let put soghs of relief and let put breaths I'm sure they didn't know they were holding in.

"I'm sorry Megs. I really did try." I sighed and slightly turned to face Echo again. He probably expexted more reassureance but instead he fot an activated light saber and an angry Omega slashing up the kriffing walls. Not my proudest moment, but it was an excellent way to handle anger issues and stress. Or at least it was the easiest. Once I was done I let put a sharp breath and deactivated my light saber. However I noticed that even before I deactivated the tip of it glowed an odd color that didn't match the rest of the blade. It wasn't red but it certainly wasn't the icy blue I have now. Whatever, too late now anyways.

"Contact Rex. Tell him the prisoner escaped with Boba Fett. We failed our first mission."
