"Poison"

DEAN'S POV

"Who's the chick and the other kid?" He asked as he closed the door

I knew he didn't care much about Luis. What he mostly wanted to know more about was Nai. The look he gave her made me want to tackle him.

"You're not supposed to be here" I grunt

His mouth curves into a smirk "I asked who's the chick"

For clarification, this is my dad's brother Aaron. He wasn't very useful except being there for my dad. Anytime he would come to this place it would be for money, drugs, or a place to stay for a few days. I'm surprised he's not in jail for all the crap he's done in the past. It honestly made me sick just thinking about the shit he says and does.

I answered truthfully "She is my girlfriend"

"Girlfriend huh?" He took a drag of his cigarette "She got a hot sister or mom?"

"Why the hell do you care so much?" I rolled my eyes  and I look at him in disgust

"Because she's a looker? If she looks like that it gotta be from her mother's genes or even has a sister that looks twenty times hotter" he smiles

I let out a sigh "You're disgusting"

"Yet you need me to give you some cash for food" he adds as he threw me a stack "It's enough for the week so there isn't a need to count it"

"Mom said we're doin' just fine. Thanks for worrying" I groused as he grabbed the container of soup

"This is what your girlfriend got you?" He cocked an eyebrow

"What about it?"

He gently puts it down "It's weird she's giving you soup" he shrugs as he looks back at me "Considering you're not sick"

"The hell are you talking about? I am sick" I coughed

He doesn't say a word as he walks into the bathroom, I can hear him opening cabinets and rustling through things. As he comes back, he tosses me a thermometer.

"Prove it to me then"

I chuckle "You can't be serious"

"I can tell who's lying Dean, I wasn't born fucking yesterday" he said as he takes a seat in a chair, leaning back "Now spill, why you lying to the girl, hm?"

"Fine you caught me you asshole" I grumbled as I threw the blanket to the ground

"No shit I caught you. Now talk"

"Since when are you so caring for women?" I raised an eyebrow

"I may get with many girls and say stupid shit, but I respect them. Now talk"

I shook my head as I looked down "You saw the guy she was with?"

"The one that literally just passed by me looking like he might shit himself? Yeah, what about him?"

"I think they might be seeing each other behind my back" I faltered as I stared as the container of soup

Aaron's eyes widen "And you got proof or what?"

"I don't need proof to know. Another girl in my hockey team named Connie said they have always been so close and gushy mushy type of shit" I explained "Come on Uncle Aaron, you can't tell me that if you ever saw them you wouldn't think they are a couple?"

He glances at the floor then back at me "So you lied for what?"

I shrug "I felt like it was the best way to stay away from her for a few days to clear my head"

He chuckled "You remind me of myself when I was younger Dean"

"What do you mean by that?" I cocked an eyebrow

"You overthink it wayyy too much" he chuckles "You need to talk to the girl rather than push her away man"

"I made my decision Aaron. I'll talk to her about breaking up probably tomorrow" I leaned back on my couch

He raises his eyebrows "So, what are you gonna do then?"

I paused, but knew exactly what I wanted to do "You still hang out with that girl, Kimberly?"

He nods "Most of the time"

"And her sister, Octavia was it? She still around?"

He cocks an eyebrow "Don't tell me you're gonna-"

I nod "It's not like Nai would even care. Plus it'll clear my mind"

"You sure about this Dean? Because I'm not trying to get in your guys' business" he stood up with his hands up in defense

I took a pause. However, I know Nai isn't the right person I want to be with. Especially if she's way to close to Mendoza.

"Positive" I responded

"Well I already invited them before I got here because you know how I am" He smiles as we heard a knock from the door "Just in time as well!"

He walks over to the door as we see Kimberly and her sister Octavia, holding beers and snacks on both hands.

Kimberly was a decent looker. Had olive skin and green eyes with dirty blonde hair. She would've looked even better if she didn't smoke five times a day. Hell, she could've been a model if she never heard of cigarettes and beer.

Octavia was completely different from Kimberly. Fair skin with brown hair and hazel eyes that makes anyone attracted to her just by staring at them. We've never officially dated because I just wanted a fling and nothing more. That was until I met Nai.

"Hey Aaron, you already missed me?" Kimberly smiles as she hands him the pack of beer

"Of course sweetheart! I see you brought your sister"

"She just wanted to see Dean" She adds as they entered

Octavia smiles as she waves "Hey Dean, haven't seen you in a while"

"Yeah, it has been a while hasn't it?"

"Alright enough of the chit chat. As of right now we will have a little fun" Aaron announces as he drinks a beer

Aaron knew that Octavia and I didn't drink, but act a bit off when we don't get much sleep. Kimberly takes a seat on his lap as they already started putting their tongues in each others throats. It left Octavia sitting next to me, very, very closely.

"Why haven't you called me lately?" She asked a bit sadly, her hands moving up to my chest

"I was busy" I answered

"You're not seeing another girl are you?" She cocked an eyebrow as she stared deep into my eyes

I shook my head "You're the only girl I would want to be with"

She leans in for a kiss, which I didn't pull away from. For some reason, my heart was telling me to not do this, but my mind was saying to fuck it and go for it.

"It's better to listen to my mind" I thought as I kissed her deeply

"Hey! We should have a party tomorrow!" Kimberly recommends

"On a weekday?" Octavia noted

I smiled at her "What's the problem with that?"

Aaron mouthed "You sure" as I nod. It's not like school is good for me anyways. This made Kimberly and Octavia cheer.

"Invite everyone and even bring tons of stuff for this party!" I cheered

"You guys heard the lad. We're gonna party until there's no tomorrow!"
