Zoya POV

It's been 2 months since Kano and I first meet and we've been spending almost everyday together. We've been going to places together, eating together,having fun together, and fighting together. If you look at us from afar you could imagine we were a couple. Just thinking about that made me blush. But I have sometime particular in mind for today.

We meet up at the Dark Elf Queen's Castle on the 9th floor. Since I'm the one who invited him I showed up earlier. When I saw him teleport in, he was wear different armor because he doesn't want people to know he is the Grim Knight. He only uses that armor for boss raids and emergencies.

Kano: *smiling*Hey Zoya, how are you doing today?

Zoya: I'm doing pretty fine.

Kano: So why did you ask for me to come here?

Zoya I want to ask for your help, last time I was here I found a secret dungeon but couldn't complete it because it requires 2 people.

Kano: May I ask what do I get out of it.

Zoya: I'm not sure, what would you like?

Kano:hmmm... how about a favor?

Zoya: A favor? What do you need.

Kano: I don't need anything right now, but if I ever need anything in the future I'll be able to use the favor.

Zoya: Alright, if that is what you want then, let's go

Kano hold out his hand with a very attractive smirk as if saying "let's hold hands". I slightly blush to this.

Zoya: I can walk on my own

After I say that, like an idiot, I tripped and as I'm waiting to hit the floor, Kano catches me and we stair into each other's eye, while I blush like crazy

He notices my blushing and chuckles a little and finally pulls me back up.

Kano: Come on, it will be more fun this way.

He says that with a smile and grabs my hand and we begin walking to the dungeon.

Kano POV

We beat the dungeon but Zoya got stung my a mob making her a little sick, so we started to walk back to town and 1/4 of the way back it started to rain like crazy.

Kano: I see a cave over there, let's stay there until it stops raining.

We reach the cave completely soaked. I quickly start a fire and cover the entrance with a tarp. In the game we would get sick just the same way as IRL and staying in wet clothes was a risk. So I open my menu and start removing my clothes leaving only my underwear.

Zoya: K-KANO!! W-WHAT ARE Y-YOU DOING!!

Kano: We'll get sick if we stay in these wet clothes, sadly I don't have any extra clothes with me. And the next boss raid will be in 2 days and we have to be there, so we can't get sick.

She looked away from me embarrassed but thinking over what I said.

As I began to stretch out my clothes to dry off, Zoya opened her menu and removed everything but her bra and underwear. Of course I tried my best not to look. But then all of a sudden I hear a BAM and see that she was unconscious. I run over and put my hand on her forehead seeing she was burning up.

I open my menu and pull out the only blanket I had and rapped her in it and placed her closer to the fire.

After a couple of minutes I checked her temperature again but it only seemed to be getting worse. Still unconscious she whispered "so cold". I've seen this effect outside the game and the only way to warm her up is with sharing body heat which was possible in the game. But the problem was that we were both undressed, but if I didn't do something she could get worse, so I had to risk it and got inside the blanket with her and pulled her closer to me.

15 minutes had gone by and her temperature had cooled done but was still hot. I was able to hear her say "no" over and over again as she slept. She kept saying them louder and louder until she woke up yelling them. She realized she had a nightmare, and remembered where she was. When she turned over to look at me and realized the state we we're in, her entire face turned red and she backed away a little.

Zoya: K-KANO!! W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!

After I explained the situation to her she calmed down a bit.

Kano: That's all that happened, I swear to you.
I say bowing my head

Zoya: Well...um... I know know what type of person you are, and that your not a liar, so I'll believe you.

She said while getting back closer and laying her head on my shoulder.

Kano: You had a nightmare?

She nodded a little.

Kano: If I may ask, what did you dream of?

She started to avoid looking at me directly and shake a little.

Zoya: Well I have nightmares every night, but today's was the worse of them.

I looked at her with worry as tears began to form in her eyes.

Zoya: *Crying* I dreamt that you got hurt in-front of me and that it was my fault. I wasn't able to do anything to help you, and you... you died.

She said as she began to ball on my shoulder

Kano: And why would you be sad? If you don't know who I really am.

Zoya: *crying*BUT I DO KNOW YOU!!! ...Who you are in here is the real you, the one you have to hide from the real world. And...and... I LIKE YOU!!! I like the person you are... your caring... gentle... and sweet. And that's why I care if you get hurt and I don't want you to die.

I looked at her shocked that she shared the same feelings as me. After she said that she started to calm down and look at me directly.

Zoya: That's why after the dungeon... I was going to ask you if you would like to be my...

I interrupted her giving her a passionate kiss she wasn't expecting. I could see she was blushing but went with it. Once our lips parted, I could see she enjoyed it.

I gently grabbed her by the head making our foreheads touch.
Kano: *Smiling* Hey, I promise to you that I won't die, I will protect you no matter what and I will bring you back to the real world. And it would be a pleasure to be your boyfriend.

She took the lead this time as she gave me another kiss that seemed to last forever.

I finally understood why she made me happy

Because I loved her.
