-6 months later-

Girl POV

???Girl:*Thinking*My name is Zoya Weaver and I am a solo player on the frontlines of the assault team. It's been 6 months since we defeated the boss of floor 1 and currently are on the 13 floor.

I'm on the 11 floor on a snow mountain trying to fight high level mobs so I could level quicker, I quickly realize that I was beginning to be outnumbered so I tried to make a run for it and the only way I could go was up the mountain. The mobs followed me as I continue to run. I wasn't looking where I was going when I ran into some but I was caught by them before I fell.When I opened my eyes I realized I ran into The Grim Knight.

Zoya:*Thinking* No Way!

He pulled me back up and looked behind me noticing the mobs, he pulled 2 daggers from his side and threw them killing 2 mobs scaring off the rest.

Grim Knight: What Are You Doing Here?!

Zoya: I-I...wa...

When all of a sudden I heard a roar that scared me but didn't faze the Knight.
Before us was a 20 foot dragon that got on its two back legs roaring at us even stronger than before.

Grim Knight: Watch Out!!!

The dragon wings opened up flapping at us making winds strong enough to move a car.

The Knight pulled out his blade and stuck it to the ground keeping him from moving.

I was about to do the same but as I was going to stick mine I was thrown back and off the mountain.

Grim Knight POV

I stuck my blade to the ground and when I turned around, I saw as she failed to get a grip and was thrown off.

Grim Knight: Nooo!!!

I unstuck my blade and leaped off the mountain, I was able to grab onto her and tried to stick my blade onto the ice wall, I was able to slow our fall down but then my blade broke and we continued to fall so I grabbed onto her tightly, that's when I was knocked out.

Zoya POV

I slowly woke up trying to remember why had happen when I noticed I was a small cliff in the middle of the mountain with a cave behind me.
I tried to get up when I saw I was on top the Grim Knight and he was waking up. Both of our hp had dropped to yellow

Grim Knight: ummm? Oh, so you're alive, that's good. If you wouldn't mind, could you get off me?

My face grew a little red hearing his question

Zoya: uhh, Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! S-Sorry about that.

I said nervously getting off.

Grim Knight: How are you feeling?

Zoya: Well A little dizzy but besides that my hp is low and I ran out of potions

The Knight opened his menu and got two healing potions and handed one to me

Grim Knight: Here drink this, try not to move so much

Zoya: Thank you
I said with a tiny blush

Grim Knight POV

I got up and examined our surroundings, the ice walls were tall but if tried to climb on, the ice would surely crack.

Zoya: What are you thinking about?

Grim Knight:If we tried to climb in any direction we'll fall and underneath us are a ton load of high level mobs. The sun is going down and they'll get stronger in the night. I'll say lets explore the cave and find a way out tomorrow.

-2 hours later-
After a couple of hours the only thing we found inside the cave is a huge area that was about the size of a movie theater with a circular hole above it.

We decided to camp there for the night and made a small fire and cover up the cave enternece with a tarp.

Zoya POV

As I sat next to the fire I tried to avoid looking at him because his mask was somewhat frightening. I guess he caught on because the next thing he asks is

Grim Knight: It's the mask isn't it?

It was like he was able to read my mind. The opens up his menu with his hand and his masks starts to glow and ultimately disappears revealing his face.

My face starts to turn bright red just by looking at him.

Grim Knight: Is something wrong?

Zoya: N-No...nothings wrong... Mr.Grim Knight

Grim Knight: Oh that's right, we haven't introduced ourselves, well my name is The Grim Knight, solo player, but you can call me by my real name, Kano.

Zoya: Well, my name is Zoya, solo player, v-very nice to meet you.

While he has his mask off he drank his healing potion and his face changed as if he suddenly realized something.

Kano: That's were I remember you from!! Your also on the assault team, I remember how you helped take down the boss on the 7 floor!

I slightly blush by the fact that someone as powerful as him remembers me, when I'm nowhere as strong as him.

Zoya: That's right, but I barley did anything tho...

Kano: What are you talking about, every single person in the fight was important and contributed to the win.

Zoya: Your right, thank you I suppose, but can I ask you a question?

Kano: ask away

Zoya: Why do you...wear a mask, and why do you only appear in boss fights?

He releases a sigh and then says
Kano: Well, I wear the mask not to hide my face but instead I become a symbol, people don't see me as another player, when they see me they see a symbol of strength and fearlessness when needed and if I was always around than they'll start to see me as just another player. Also, I'm not much of a people person.

Zoya:*Thinking* he does have a reason, what people now need more than ever is a symbol that pushes them to keep fighting.

Kano: If I may ask, why are you a solo player?

Zoya: It's like you said, I'm not much of a people person, and if I became someone important in the lives of others and I ended up dying, I wouldn't want to cause them pain. Don't worry about it, it's not a big deal.

We both remained silent for a while until I broke the silence again.

Zoya: Anyways, may I ask why did you jump off and save me? You didn't who I was or anything.

Kano: Its a promise I kept to myself,... If I see someone in danger and I was able to save them I will always take that chance, even if it means I ended up dying instead of them.

He said that with a very serious look in his eyes as he stared into the fire, but once he blinked he was back to normal.

Kano: I hope you don't mind me asking but I would really appreciate if you wouldn't tell people what I look like under the mask. Please?

I nodded my head and saw a slight smile on his face as he saw my response.

Kano: Thank you, well I suppose we should get some rest.

"Goodnight" he said as he laid down and faced the wall. Not long after I fell asleep sitting down.

-The next day-

I was woken up by the bright light that was passing through small cracks in the tarp and found myself covered in Kanos warm cape and when I turned to him, he was gone.

Suddenly I hearded a lot roar coming from the inside the cave. I quickly grabbed my sword and ran to find Kano as quickly as I possibly could.
