Hello, this is my own version of sword art online but without using any existing character like Kirito or Asuna or the rest of the gang, instead it is filled with my own original characters.Hope you enjoy cuz I put a lot of thought into this. :)

Everyone inside SAO is teleported to the main center of the first floor, the town of beginnings. The sky suddenly starts to fill itself with red warning signs until it covers the entire town center in a dome. Players start to wonder why they were teleported.

In between the signs, blood starts to pour out, until it starts to form a large red cloaked figure with his face covered by his hood.

Kayaba: Attention, players. I welcome you to my world. My name is Akihiko Kayaba. And as of this moment, I am in control of this world.

Many players continue to ask questions that remain unanswered

Kayaba: I'm sure most of you have already noticed an item missing from your main menus -- the log out button. Let me assure you, this is not a defect in the game. I repeat, this is not a defect. This is how "Sword Art Online" was designed to be. You cannot log yourselves out of SAO, and no one from the outside will be able to shut down or remove the "NerveGear" from your head. If anyone attempts to do so, a transmitter inside the NerveGear will discharge a microwave signal into your skull, destroying your brain and ending your life.

Many players start to panic and freak out demanding to let them go

Kayaba: Despite my warning, the families and friends of some of the players have attempted removing the NerveGear, an unfortunate decision, to say the least. As a result, the game now has two hundred thirteen less players than when it began.
They've been deleted from both Aincrad and the real world.

More and more people start to panic in fear

Kayaba: As you can see, international media outlets have round-the-clock coverage of everything, including the deaths.
At this point, it's safe to assume the likelihood of a NerveGear being removed is minimal at best.
I hope this brings you a little comfort as you try to clear the game.
It's important to remember the following:
There is no longer any way to revive someone within the game.
If your HP drops to zero, your avatar will be deleted from the system... forever.
And the NerveGear will simultaneously destroy your brain.
There is only one way for a player to escape now -- you must clear the game.
Right now, you're gathered on Floor One, the lowest level of Aincrad.
If you can get through the dungeon and defeat the boss, you may advance to the next floor.
Defeat the boss on Floor 100, and you will clear the game.

Players start an outcry on how impossible it is to reach level 100

Kayaba: Last but not least, I've placed a little present in the item storage of every player.
Please have a look.

The players do as they are told and are confused when they see a mirror in their item storage and suddenly every players start to glow and when finished their past avatars are transformed to appear as their self IRL.

Kayaba: Right now, you are probably wondering why.
Why would Akihiko Kayaba, developer of Sword Art Online and NerveGear, do this?
Ultimately, my goal was a simple one.
The reason I created Sword Art Online was to control the fate of a world of my design. As you can see, I have achieved my goal. This marks the end of the tutorial and the official launch of Sword Art Online. Players, I wish you the best of luck.

Kayaba starts to glitch and turn into red smoke as he and the red sky disappear leaving all of the player frozen unable to process what was just told to them. Player after player, they scream at the area in the sky where Kayaba was begging to let them go, leaving them with no response.

Not far, a dark hooded figure covered by shadows of the near the gate exit starts watches as the rest of the 9,787 players still alive panicking and the figure slowly turns and walks out the exit as the sun begins to set.
-2 Months Later-
It has been 2 months after the beginning of the death game sword art online. Over 2 thousand players have died out of the original 10 thousand players. Finally the day has come where a meeting is being held in the town of beginnings to discuss the boss of the first floor.

Many players have arrive but barley enough to be called an army. One player dressed in green matching his hair color made the first move in beginning the meeting.

Riku: Alright let's get this meeting started, let me first introduce myself, my name is Riku and I am the one who called this meeting in the first place. It's already been 2 months since the game and now finally we have discovered the dungeon of the first floor boss, "Illfang the Kobold Lord", after double checking with beta testers once Illfang's health is down by half his fighting style changes as well as his weapon,so keep that in mind. To be able to defeat this boss we must put into groups of at least 5 once, the groups roll will be decided before we enter the dungeon. Gather up your best weapon and gear because this battle will not be easy, so don't do anything stupid that could get you or others killed. Alright everyone meets up at sunrise tomorrow at the dungeon entrance.

Everyone in the meeting cheered as he finished while a girl with raven hair with a long ponytail remained silent.

But not far away, a dark figure hidden in the shadows, listened to the meeting discussion.
