At dispersal time, Y/n found Daniel near the school gate and knew it was time to drop the bomb.

"I've decided...I'm joining Cobra Kai again."

"Then I'm joining too."  He grinned.

Y/n didn't bother asking him not to. She knew there was no point...Daniel would do what he wanted, especially when it came to her.

As they were talking, Jimmy, Dutch, Bobby and Tommy walked up to them.

"Hey, Y/n, Daniel...Wanna hang out with us?" Bobby asked.

"Won't Johnny mind?" she asked, a little sceptical.

"Johnny's busy with Heather, as always. He won't even notice." Dutch smirked.

"Yeah, forget about him. Come on, let's go grab something to eat." Jimmy said.

Y/n glanced at Daniel, who nodded with a small smile and then turned back to the Cobras.

"Alright, let's do it."

The group headed to the nearest restaurant, chatting and laughing along the way. For a moment, Y/n felt a little lighter, like things might actually start getting better.

They all entered the restaurant, grabbed a big table.and sat down. The waiter came over and everyone ordered their favourite food.

Dutch ordered a burger and fries, Bobby went for a steak, Tommy got a sandwich and Jimmy chose pasta. Y/n and Daniel picked something light...a salad and a sandwich.

As they waited for their food, the Cobras started talking about their studied.

"Man, I barely passed the last test." Tommy groaned, slumping in his seat.

"That's because you never study, Tommy. You're too busy showing off in the dojo!" Dutch laughed.

"You're one to talk, Dutch. Didn't you fail that marketing assignment?" Jimmy scoffed.

Dutch rolled his eyes.

"That was one time!"

Y/n couldn't help but laugh.

"Wow, you guys sound like you're really nailing this whole college thing."

"Yeah, this is hilarious. You guys are so confident in karate but can't handle a simple case study?" Daniel chuckled.

"Hey, it's not as easy as it sounds! Who cares about market trends when you can throw a good punch?" Bobby said.

Y/n laughed harder.

"Maybe you should use your karate moves to scare the professors into giving you better grades."

Everyone burst into laughter and for the first time in a while, Y/n felt at ease. The Cobras may not have been the best students but they sure knew how to make things fun.

As the laughter died down, the conversation took a turn. Bobby leaned in.

"You know, Mike's actually getting better in the dojo. Like, way better. But Johnny's still ahead and Heather-ugh, even she's improving fast."

Tommy groaned dramatically.

"It's so weird in there now! You've got Heather's current boyfriend and her ex.boyfriend both in the same dojo. The vibe is just...awkward."

"Seriously, it's like a soap opera every time we practice. Mike's trying to show off, Heather's all over Johnny and Johnny doesn't even care. He barely pays attention to anyone anymore." Dutch scoffed.

"That sounds...messy. And Johnny doesn't say anything?" Y/n asked.

Jimmy huffed.

"Nope. He's too busy being Mr Cool Guy. Acting like nothing bothers him but we all know he's just pretending."

"It's annoying! Heather and Mike make it uncomfortable for everyone else. And Johnny's just in his own world. Honestly, I don't know how Kreese deals with it." Jimmy groaned.

"Wow, you guys sound like a group of little kids complaining about the popular kids at school." Daniel laugned.

"Well, excuse us, Mr Perfect! You try training in that awkward mess and see how you like it." Bobby rolled his ehes.

"Sounds like drama central. Maybe I should bring popcorn next time I visit." Y/n smirked.

The Cobras all groaned in unison.

"Don't even joke about that, Y/n. It's bad enough without an audience!" Tommy said.

They all laughed but Y/n could tell they were genuinely frustrated. Still, it was oddly funny to see them complaining like this.

"Oh, by the way, Daniel's joining Cobra Kai too." Y/n casually added.

The Cobras froze for a moment, their jaws practically hitting the table. Dutch was the first to react.

"Wait, what? Daniel? Joining Cobra Kai? Are you messing with us?"

"Yeah, yeah, it's true. Don't look so shocked." Daniel rolled his ehes.

Jimmy burst out laughing.

"This is gold! I never thought I'd see the day. What's next? Is he gonna start wearing a black gi and calling Kreese 'sensei'?"

"Hey, don't knock it. Daniel in a Cobra Kai gi might actually be funny. Imagine him trying to yell, 'No mercy!'" Bobby grinned.

Tommy leaned back, pretending to wipe away a fake tear.

"Oh, this is too good. Kreese won't know what hit him. Mr Miyagi's golden boy joining the dark side!"

"Hey, don't tease him too much. He's doing this for me." Y/n smirked.

Dutch slapped the table dramatically.

"Of course! Daniel the hero. Sacrificing his soul to protect Y/n from the big, bad Cobras."

"You guys are ridiculous. Don't forget, I'm doing this to keep an eye on all of you too." Daniel smirked.

Jimmy pointed at him.

"Well, good luck, buddy. You're gonna need it. But if you survive a week without quitting, we'll be impressed."

Bobby raised his glass of soda.

"To Daniel, the unexpected Cobra! May he survive Kreese's temper and Johnny's death stares."

Everyone laughed and clinked their glasses. Daniel shook his head but smiled.

"Alright, enough joking. Let's talk about something serious..

what are we all gonna do after college? You know, realife stuff." Bobby asked.

The table went quiet for a second

"Well, I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna start my own business. Dutch's Deluxe Auto Repairs. Fancy name, fancy cars.and fancy paychecks. It's genius." Dutch said.

"You mean fancy mess.ups. I've seen you try to fix a bike. Remember when you 'repaired' Tommy's brakes and he crashed into Mrs Anderson's fence?" Jimmy smirked.

Everyone burst out laughing as Tommy threw his hands up.

"Don't remind me! I'm still banned from her yard, thanks to you!"

Dutch rolled his eyes.

"It was one time! Anyway, what about you, genius?"

"I'm gonna get into finance or something. You know, wear a suit, play golf, make money. Basically, I'll be everyone's boss one day." Jimmy shrugged.

Bobby snorted.

"Golf? You can't even hit the ball straight in mini.golf. You're gonna get fired before you even start!"

"Oh, like you've got it all figured out. What's your big plan, Bobby? Chicken farming?" Jimmy shot back.

"No, I'm going to be a motivational speaker. 'Bobby's Life Lessons: How to Survive Kreese and Still Smile.' I'll make millions." Bobby grinned.

"You know what? I might just become a world traveller. Backpacking through Europe, eating exotic food, living the dream. No nine to.five for me." Tommy smed.

"You? Backpacking? You cried last week because there were no napkins for your sandwich." Daniel laughed.

Tommy gasped dramatically.

"That was a serious situation! A man has to protect his hands!"

Dutch clapped his hands.

"This is why none of us should plan for the future. We're all disasters waiting to happen."

"Well, I guess that's why we're all here together. A table full of future CEOs, world travellers and motivational speakers... with zero chance of surviving adult life!" Y/n grinned.

They all laughed so hard the waiter gave them a funny look. It was supposed to be a serious conversation but with the Cobras around, it was impossible to keep it that way.

The Cobras looked at Y/n and Daniel expectantly, waiting for their answers. It was Y/n's turn and she sighed dramatically.

"Well, I guess I'll probably end up working for my dad's business. You know, all that corporate stuff, high.end meetings, making deals, wearing fancy suits... You get the idea. My life's basically set."

The Cobras gasped in unison.

"Oh, come on! Your life's already figured out? You don't even have to try and you're set? That's not fair!" Bobby said.

Jimmy pointed at her dramatically.

"She's already got the office job, the car, the house... and what do we have? A future filled with awkward meetings and bad decisions!"

"Well, I didn't say it was easy. It's still a lot of paperwork and pretending to be busy in front of my dad. The fun stuff comes later." She just smiled.

"Yeah, like when she finally convinces her dad to buy her a better car because hers is, what? A 10 year old sedan?" Daniel smirked.

"Hey, it's reliable. And honestly, I don't need a fancy car. I'll just hire someone to drive me." Y/n shot back.

The Cobras groaned.

"Of course, you'll hire someone." Dutch said, throwing his hands up.

"You're already on easy street and here we are, struggling to figure out how to keep our phones from getting cut off!"

"Exactly!" Bobby added, slouching in his chair.

"What's our plan? We've got nothing, and you're already living the dream!"

"You know, you could all just get a job at my dad's company. I'm sure he'd love to hire all of you." She grinned.

The Cobras froze.

"You think your dad would hire us?" Dutch asked, his eyes wide.

"Well, I don't know if he'd hire all of you. Maybe just Bobby. He could be the motivational speaker for the office. We need someone to teach everyone how to survive meetings." She explained.

Bobby's face lit up.

"Wait, you're serious? I can teach people how to survive a meeting? Like... 'How to Handle Your Boss Without Crying 101'? I'm in!"

"You think he'll really let you run a class?" Jimmy asked, still skeptical.

"I've got the skills..I'll make it work." Bobby replied confidently.

"I don't think your dad's business is ready for Bobby's Life Lessons." Tommy snorted.

"Well, it's a thought. Maybe one day, Y/n, I'll come work with you. I can be your right hand man...teach the office how to make great decisions, like skipping the boss's lunch order and just grabbing pizza." Bobby smirked.

"You'll fit right in, Bobby. Maybe you can even start a 'Bad Decision of the Day' board." She grinned.

"But seriously...what's it like knowing your life's already planned out? You just wake up, show up and everything's handed to you." Dutch asked.

"I mean, it sounds amazing, but then again, there's a lot of paperwork. Trust me, you don't want to deal with it. Sometimes I just wish I could be like you guys...no plan, just winging it." She sighed.

"Yeah, right Like we're 'winging it.' We've got a strategy. It's called 'flying by the seat of our pants.'" Bobby laughed.

"I bet it's working great for you." Y/n said with a playful wink.

The whole table erupted in laughter. For a group of people who had no idea what the future held, they sure knew how to enjoy the moment.

And at that moment, in that little restaurant, life didn't seem so serious.

"So, Daniel...What's your big plan after college? You gonna join a dojo and become the next karate legend?" Dutch asked.

"Oh, sure. Just call me 'Karate King of Reseda.'." Daniel laughed.

"You could totally do it! You've got the moves, man. You should open your own dojo. Call it 'LaRusso's Legacy' or something dramatic like that." Bobby y said.

"And give away free water bottles with every karate lesson. A classic business move!" Jimmy smirked.

"Yeah." Dutch said, pointing at him.

"And don't forget the life lessons. Like 'How to lose gracefully' and 'How to fight with your emotions.' You know, typical karate stuff."

"Right, because I'm all about the deep philosophical approach to karate." Daniel chuckled.

"Seriously, though, Daniel. You think you'd open your own dojo?" Y/n Asked.

"Maybe. But I'd probably get distracted and end up just making sandwiches or something." Daniel shrugged.

"Yeah, your 'karate sandwiches'. Only $10 for a lesson and a ham sandwich. Sounds like a good deal!" Dutch snickered.

Daniel gave him a mock.serious look.

"I'm telling you, the sandwich industry is the next big thing. Who wouldn't want a black belt in ham and cheese?"

The table erupted in laughter again.

"Maybe you should forget karate and just open a sandwich shop. Call it 'Karate Bites.' You could teach them how to chop vegetables with the 'karate chop' technique." Y/n laughed.

"That's genius! I'd sign up just to learn how to chop my sandwich toppings with style!" Bobby exclaimed.

Jimmy looked thoughtful.

"You could have a black belt in sandwiches. And I'll be your first student. I'm amazing with mustard."

"You guys are ridiculous. But honestly, if I opened a dojo... I'd want it to be something more than just karate. Maybe we could add a karate cafΓ© in the back. Get some kombucha, protein bars and make it a 'wellness dojo.'" Daniel suggested.

"Hold up." Dutch said, pretending to be serious.

"So, are you telling me this dojo would be the ultimate place for fighting and finding inner peace with a side of kale chips?"

"Exactly. You fight, you meditate, you drink green juice. It's the future of karate!" Daniel nodded.

"Perfect." Jimmy said, clapping his hands.

"And we can get a special 'Karate Kombucha' line for the dojo. We'll call it 'Karate Brew'...with extra focus power!"

"You guys are coming up with way too many ideas. I might just open the dojo myself if you all keep this up. You're giving me way too much inspiration." Y/n laughed.

"You know what? This dojo sounds amazing. I'll be your first customer. I'll sign up for all the 'Karate and Kombucha' classes." Bobby smirked.

"Alright, alright, maybe I'll just stick to being a 'karate king' and leave the sandwiches to you guys." Daniel laughed.

"Wise choice." Dutch said, giving him a thumbs.up.

"So, when are you two joining?" Jimmy asked.

"Tomorrow." Y/n replied with a smile.

"Yep, tomorrow's the day." Daniel said.

The Cobras' faces lit up.

"That's awesome! We're gonna have a blast!" Bobby said.

"You guys are gonna fit right in. It's gonna be like old times!" Tommy added.

Dutch punched Daniel's shoulder.

"You're finally joining the real dojo, man! Get ready for the Cobra Kai experience!"

"Yeah! We've missed you guys! It's gonna be epic!" Jimmy cheered.

Y/n smiled, feeling the excitement. Despite everything that had happened, it felt good to know that the Cobras were genuinely happy to have them back. It was like coming home, in a way.

"Alright. Tomorrow, we show up. Let's see what happens." Daniel grinned.

The Cobras all cheered, excited for the next chapter.

"Let's do it!" Bobby shouted, raising his drink.

A/n: How's everyone?
