Y/n woke up with a thumping heart.
Freshers day.
A/n: mine was special. I danced with my crush...we all were dancing in a group...meh.
She was still not sure if it was a good idea to sneak out and that also with Mike.
But she knew she couldn't back down now.
Not when she told Mike that she was ready.
Stupid her. She wasn't thinking straight.
What could go wrong about her sneaking out with a new friend to a party to which her father told her not to go to.
And the night time was the cherry on top.
If her father found out....God knows what he would do.
College was off today so she had a whole day to plan the side effects of sneaking out.
That's when she thought about telling her mom. Maybe she should tell her mom to minimize the damage.
"But dad does not even acknowledge her." She whispered to herself.
She stood up and went to her closet to get her clothes out for the night.
"Fuck. I have never been this nervous."
She was not going to wear something flashy for the party. It was just a college party for god's sake. Casuals will do.
She needed to pick the perfect outfit for the freshers party but it wasnβt easy.
Her hands ran over the hangers, brushing past pieces she wasnβt sure about.
Finally, she pulled out a crisp Calvin Klein white blouse and paired it with a high waisted Guess denim skirt.
βSimple but still looks good.β She murmured, holding it up to herself in the mirror.
Shethen grabbed her Reebok Freestyle sneakers.
"Perfect..."
She set the outfit on her bed. She threw on a lightweight Members Only jacket, just in case it got cold later.
Then again her thoughts went back to the master plan she was about to use tonight.
What if she got caught?
βYouβve got this.β She whispered to herself, slipping her essentials into a small Dooney & Bourke leather bag.
She wasn't about to change right then because she still had a long day ahead.
.
She went down and saw her father sitting there, reading the newspaper.
Now the thing was, usually she didn't get very uneasy by looking at him. But today? She felt very uneasy.
"Maybe i should re think about this all." She whispered to herself.
Her father noticed her standing there motionless.
"Good morning. Are you paralyzed?" He asked.
She blinked and was caught off guard.
"Excuse me.what?"
"No...you was just standing there. So I just thought." He shrugged.
"Y/n? You are free today, right?" Her mother asked from the kitchen.
"Uhhhhhh.....yes." she nervously answered.
"If I am not wrong, you have that stupid party tonight. Right?" Her father asked.
"Yes."
So he remembers.
Great.
"It's not like you are going so you should enjoy your day." He smirked.
"I know I am not going and you don't need to keep reminding me that." She scoffed.
"Just testing."
"Stop testing me." She shot back.
He always knew how to get on her nerves. He has the first place in doing that. Johnny had the second and Daniel had the third.
"You know what? I don't want to do anything breakfast -"
"Not like I asked you to." He said in between.
"Because you are always on the hunt of ruining my day. Is that a hobby for you?" She asked.
"No." He casually shrugged.
"Oh my god." She muttered and went upstairs.
"Y/n! Your breakfast!" Her mother shouted.
"Shut up. She won't die and she is not a kid. You made her spoiled. God knows how much attitude she got while I was away."
Y/n heard it on the stairs.
"It's not like someone asked you to go the fuck away." She shouted.
"See? See? That's what I am talking about." He scoffed.
A/n: sorry for such a short chapter. I am on a movie marathon but I wanted to publish a chapter since I announced it.
