After settling the challenge, Johnny made his way back towards the class where everyone else was.

Upon entering the class, he noticed Y/n reading a book.

An idea struck his mind and that was to ask her to come to the dojo, not by saying that there was going to be a match but by saying that if she wants to exit the dojo, she has to do it today by informing their sensei.

But one question was still there.

Was she really ready to leave?

He made his way towards the group and everyone noticed him, even Y/n.

He did not say anything to her, just sat on his seat.

Her back was towards him and he gestured Daniel to ask her what he asked Daniel to ask and he quickly nodded.

"Hey umm...Y/n?" Daniel said.

"Yes?" She said as she looked up at him.

"Can we go outside? I need to talk with you about something."

"Now?" She asked as she looked back at her book.

"Yes. It's urgent." Daniel nodded.

"Uh- alright. Let's go." She sighed and stood up to leave.

As they both made their way towards the door, Tommy nudged Johnny.

"What did you gesture Daniel about?" He asked.

"To ask her about staying or leaving. Also, me and Mike are having a match today. A karate match."

"Wait what?" All the other cobras asked in unison.

"Yes. We both sort of challenged each other. Don't worry, I'll beat his ass and Y/n will also be there, so it will be more fun." Johnny winked.

"How is she going to be the- I mean, why would she be there?" Bobby asked.

" An excuse, Bobby. She will come there to give her decision and I'll beat Barnes in front of her."

"What if she gets mad?" Dutch asked.

" Why would she get mad? She's just gonna see who's the real guy." Johnny smirked.

"And what if he beats you?" Jimmy asked.

Johnny shot a look towards him.

"And how is he going to do that? That guy has no training nor any experience so it's a clear win for me." Johnny shrugged.

"Still, you can't be overconfident." Jimmy suggested.

"I can be. Just don't ruin my mood, man." Johnny sighed.

.

"What?" Y/n asked as they both sat at one of the hall benches.

"I just wanted to ask you a question. It has been on my mind since...forever." Daniel started.

"Hmm?"

"Are you going to leave karate?" He asked.

"Uh- my dad wants me to so yeah. I have to."

"But do you want to?" He asked.

"What? Of course not." She shook her head.

"So why are you leaving?"

"He doesn't want me in cobra kai. Hey but I could join Miyagi Do, right?" She widely smiled.

Daniel's face fell.

"You can't do that. Mr Miyagi is returning back to Okinawa. I have to leave Miyagi Do." Daniel sighed.

"What? But- when did that happen?" She asked.

"Last week." He answered.

"So which dojo are you going to join?" She asked.

"Haven't decided. But I won't leave Karate." He smiled.

"Yeah I get that but you need a dojo. And in the valley there's only one dojo left for both of us. Cobra kai. And i am leaving that." She answered.

"And I am not joining that." He chuckled.

"This is bad."

"Yeah I know. I just don't want that time to come when I have to join cobra kai."

"That would be a disaster. I get this Okie dokie thing going on between you and the cobras but that thing can't continue on the mat. Trust me, I know it." She chuckled.

"Yeah, that's why I don't want to end up there."

"Alright, let's get back." She said and he nodded but he still looked in doubt.

.

"Dude, you had to see the look on that guy's - oh hey Y/n. We got some news for you." Dutch grinned as Y/n and Daniel both took their seats.

"What?" She asked.

"Look, if you want to stay in the dojo-" Johnny said and turned towards Daniel and Daniel shook his head.

"You have to give your decision today. And if you don't want to, you have to exit the dojo today. Sensei's orders. " Johnny added.

"Fine. I'll come after college to confirm my departure." Y/n said and turned away.

Y/n felt a bit weird that both Johnny and Daniel asked her a question regarding karate and cobra kai today.

Was it a coincidence?

"But you are such a good-"

"Shut up." Y/n cut off Jimmy.

"Oh-"

"Thanks for reminding me though. I almost forgot it." Y/n sarcastically smiled and she started packing her things to leave the class.

After she left Daniel turned towards the cobras.

"There you go. Your answer." Daniel raised his eyebrows.

"Yeah got it. What if she changes her decision though?" Johnny asked.

"And is that possible?" Bobby asked.

"Could be. Anything's possible with her." Johnny shrugged.

He then looked at Daniel.

"Hey by the way. You should also come with her at the dojo today. Me and Mike are having a little sparring." Johnny smirked.

"Wait what?" Daniel asked.

"Yeah. Asking her to come today is just all a part of plan so yeah, you should also come. " Johnny explained.

"But how did that even happen?" Daniel asked.

"Just happened. Try to enjoy the thing okay?"

"Can't say I am not excited to see you beating his ass." Daniel sarcastically laughed.

"Hey, overconfidence can kill ya." Bobby reminded them all again.

"Oh please. Stop it, man." Johnny scoffed.

.

Y/n was in the parking lot and was about to leave when she heard Daniel's voice calling after her.

"I am going with you!" He shouted.

Y/n turned around and looked at him with a weird and confused look.

"You want to have a sleepover at my house?"

"What? No. As if your father would allow me to. You are going to the dojo, right?" He asked.

"Yes."

"Take me. I want to see your departure."

"Very funny, Daniel. Seeing me sad will give you pleasure, right?"

"No, of course not. Let's just say- uh- I don't know what to say. I just want to go, that's what I know." He grinned.

She gave him a spetical look but a little company never did any harm.

"Alright. Join in." She sighed.

.

Y/n took a deep breath as she stood in front of the familiar place with the big cobra sign.

"Brings back both good and bad memories."

"Don't act like it has been years." Daniel laughed.

"Shut up." She laughed and playfully nudged him.

She dramatically opened the doors to the dojo and to her surprise, Johnny and his gang was already there and they were training.

Sensei Kreese immediately noticed Y/n and walked over to her.

Mind I say, he did not acknowledge Daniel.

"Y/n Jones. Long time no see."

"Uh- nice to see you too, Sensei." Y/n quickly answered.

"I got some news from my boys. They say you won't be doing karate anymore. Huh. Is that true?" He asked.

"Yes sensei." She said as she walked in the dojo and Daniel followed her.

"Why? I want to hear a good reason, since you were good at Karate. I don't think my dojo would love to lose you." Kreese asked.

" I- uh- family reasons, sensei. My father doesn't want me to so I don't think I should disobey him." She nervously answered.

"If you don't mind, can I talk to your father?" He asked.

"No, no. It's best I leave." She quickly answered with wide eyes.

"It's a shame but I won't force you. But! Why don't you stay back for a hour to see one last match?" He smirked.

Without thinking much, she nodded.

"Uh- yeah, sure I would love to." She smiled.

"Oh this is going to be good." Daniel muttered but she didn't hear him.

"Take a seat. And from my side, you are free. If you change your mind, you can join in whenever you want to." Kreese suggested and turned to Daniel.

"You too, boy. Ever think of joining a better dojo, come here." He grinned.

Daniel just scoffed in response.

Y/n and Daniel quickly took a seat at the side.

"Last match? I did not think he would ask me." Y/n chuckled.

"If he did, it means it is going to be interesting. Right?" Daniel said without giving too much away.

"I don't know. It must be someone from the dojo so I can't say I am that excited." She shrugged.

She noticed Johnny warming up and for some odd reason he was very serious.

"I bet it's his match." She gestured towards Johnny.

"Why would you think so?" Daniel asked.

"He's too serious with his training today. But I don't see anyone else warming up so I don't know who's the opponent." She sighed as she looked around the room.

"Relax, y/n. It's not your match. You are here just to watch and enjoy." Daniel smiled and she nodded.

"Where's our friend, Mr. Lawrence?" Kreese asked.

"He will be here anytime soon, sensei." Johnny answered.

Just then, the doors to the dojo opened and some guy stood there.

Y/n squinted and her eyes widened.

"I bet he is at the wrong location." She whispered to Daniel.

"Uh-" Was what Daniel said.

If he answered no, Y/n could get suspicious of him.

"There you are. Mike Barnes right? My student Johnny Lawrence told me about you." Kreese smirked as he walked towards Mike to welcome him.

"Holy mother of hell. This isn't good." Y/n said.

"I bet he said some bad things about me." Mike answered.

"No. All good things." Kreese answered.

"Well, I don't care what he said. I am here to win."

"Like I'll let you." Johnny scoffed from behind.

"Why am I getting a feeling that it's best to leave?" Y/n said as she stood up but Daniel grabbed her wrist and made her sit.

"There's no way I am missing this." Daniel grinned.

"Since when are you so interested in fights?" Y/n asked.

"Since I met Mike. But that's not the point. C'mon Y/n, it's your last day here. Enjoy." Daniel pleaded.

"Daniel..."

Mike's eyes fell on Y/n.

"I got someone to impress here so let's start." Mike smirked and Johnny followed his gaze and his name tightenend when he realised that Mike was talking about Y/n.

"I got someone to impress too so yeah, let's start." Johnny answered through clenched teeth.

Any normal person would think that Johnny was referring to his sensei, but only he knew he was talking about Y/n.

"Alright. Stop running your mouths. Bobby? Take Mike to the locker room and help him with his gi." Kreese ordered Bobby and he nodded and gestured Mike to follow.

On his way, Mike walked past Y/n and Daniel.

He waved at Y/n but gave a sharp look towards Daniel.

"He's going to lose. Why am I not surprised? He has no experience. This match isn't even fair." Y/n scoffed.

"So what? Guys built good. What if he has a chance?"

"You are right. If he trains, he could possibly best Johnny. I know he can but not without training. But I don't think he's interested in Karate. He's more interested in football."

"So why did he say yes to this match?" Daniel asked.

"How in hell would I know? I don't know what's wrong with his mind." She scoffed.

"Maybe he wants to prove something."

"He's dumb. That's what he wants to prove. If I knew this before, I would have never let this happen." She shook her head.

"Don't ruin the fun."

A/n: I got nothing to say :(
