Y/N'S MOUTH GAPED WIDE OPEN AS SHE LOOKED AT THE CHART. SHE WAS
shocked to see a name above her. In first place. "What." Y/n's eye twitched as her friend, Yoimiya tried to make the best of the situation. "Atleast you got in second place!" She sweat dropped and she watched Y/n's facial expression quickly drop.

    "second place?!" She scowled. "Yoimiya! My parents are gonna literally kill me." She panicked. "I mean, on normal circumstances they would have maybe been a bit more lenient but to lose to Heizou freaking Shikanoin of all people?!"

    "Go ahead and dig my grave." She sulked. Yoimiya rubbed her shoulder comfortingly. "I'm sorry Y/n! Hopefully they don't find out." She attempted to cheer her bestfriend up. Y/n smiled at her friend to not ruin the mood any further, although they both knew good and well her parents probably already knew.

    Just then, as if her day couldn't get any worse, Heizou Shikanoin sauntered towards them. His cousin Kazuha was of course accompanying him. He stood there as he scanned the chart for his name. His fox like eyes darting everywhere. Y/n watched as his nervous expression quickly formed into a boastful grin.

    He turned to her with a smirk on his face she oh so badly wanted to wipe off. "Well Y/n. Not all of us are as gifted as others. Maybe next time!" He patted her shoulder before walking off laughing. Y/n gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. She knew she would get an earful from her parents later. Suddenly, She wished school would never end.

    "DON'T YOU THINK YOU WERE A BIT HARSH?" KAZUHA SAID TO HIS COUSIN. "Dude! It's Y/n. With all due respect I could never be to harsh with her. She's like a a demon hybrid gremlin of some sort." He brushed Kazuha off. "But what about our family feuds? Knowing her family she's probably gonna get the earful of her life..."

   "Who cares even if she does? She deserves it." Heizou laughed with no remorse whatsoever. Kazuha frowned at the auburn haired boy. As they were walking to lunch, someone bumped into them. Someone neither of them liked very much. "Ugh. Watch where you're going." Scaramouche snarled as he glared at them up and down.

    "My guy, You literally bumped into us." Heizou crossed his arms. "Okay and? You should've automatically knew I was coming and moved out of the way." Scaramouche half joked. Although maybe he was a bit serious. "I see your still pretentious as ever Scaramouche." Kazuha said.

   "And I see you guys are still annoying as ever. Do us all a favor and take a high dive off of a bridge." Scaramouche scowled. "Ha! The only person taking a "high dive off a bridge,"" Heizou mocked a nerdy voice. "Is your dear cousin Y/n! You should've seen her face when she realized she was placed second. Honestly if I was her, knowing your family I'd probably want to jump off of a bridge too."

   "Y/n got second place?" Scaramouches face contorted into confusion. "Are you deaf?"
"Whatever. I really could careless. That seems like a her problem?" Scaramouche said with a duh tone. "Speaking of Y/n you never seem to keep her name out of your mouth huh?"

   "It's like every time we talk you bring her up. You have a crush on her or something." Scaramouche cackled. "What? No!" Heizou slightly blushed but only Kazuha notice the light pink coating his cheeks. "Yeah whatever dude. Stop wasting my time." And with that, Scaramouche quickly left.
