"Ugh!! Why is she so hard to communicate with!?" Oikawa angrily grabs a volleyball from the court, throws it high in the air, locks his eyes on it, jumps, and smacks it hard to the other side of the net.

The volleyball appears on the other side of the court in seconds, its smack on the floor echoing throughout the gym.

Tooru is already in the boy's volleyball uniform, waiting for his teammates to begin practice.

He clutches tightly to another ball, getting ready to hit it with all his anger built in. The door clicks open at the entrance of the gym, and all his teammates walk inside. They walk in, talking and laughing at one another, and are interrupted by another loud echo.

"Oi, what the hell are you doing, practice hasn't started yet!" Iwaizumi shouts toward him, the team circling around Oikawa.

"Oh yeah, did you not see what happened after the concert at lunch? L/N didn't even know who he was," Yahaba snickers, elbowing Iwaizumi at his side.

Tooru growls and serves another ball.

"Seriously? That's what you angry about?" Iwaizumi smacks his hand on his forehead. Oikawa grumbles in response, another ball on the other side of the court already.

Watari and Kindaichi instantly run to the cart holding the volleyballs and drag them away from Tooru.

"Hey! I was using those," The brunette whines.

"Not till you explain to us what happened," Iwaizumi orders. "I don't fully trust this idiot over here."

Iwaizumi points behind him to Yahaba, and the boy looks offended.

"I walked up to try and talk to L/N again, but one of my fangirls came to me instead. L/N came to get her friend, and the girl told her, 'don't you know who this is?'. Then L/N just asked, 'Who?'," Oikawa remembers, pouting when he finishes the story.

Suddenly, the whole volleyball team erupts, laughing at Oikawa. Some even fall to the floor, trying to catch their breath and clutching their stomachs. Tooru stands watching them, astounded but pouting. After a couple minutes, the boys calm down, a few stand up while others sit taking deep breaths.

"Look man, she's way too good for you, and you probably don't deserve her," Iwaizumi insults, grabbing his phone and giving it to Oikawa. "But here, this should help."

The brunette eyes him, grabs the phone, and looks at the site that is pulled up.

"Are you serious?" Oikawa scoffs after reading the title.

"I heard it worked on some other guys," Hanamaki shrugs.

"It should give you better advice than any of us who don't have a girlfriend, yet. Plus, you might actually get to know her more following the steps," Watari tells him.

"Fine," Tooru gives in, scrolling down to the first step and telling his teammates.

1. WORK ON YOURSELF & HAVE YOUR OWN LIFE

Just because you're pursuing someone, you shouldn't give up the things you love doing. Improve yourself and love the life you're living because a relationship cannot fulfill all your desires. A very important first fact that you should bear in mind when you ask yourself how to make a girl fall for you.

Note: In the beginning, you would want to spend every waking hour with her, but you should learn the art of balancing. Women find confident, self-sufficient men very attractive – work on building it.

"Well, that's not hard, you already got a life," Iwaizumi smirks. Oikawa's not sure if he should feel insulted, happy, or both.

"He does balance volleyball and school very well, so it's not something he should think about," Matsukawa points out.

     "Next step!" Kindaichi begs.

2. BE OPTIMISTIC

Girls don't want to be with someone passive; always ranting about something, negativity becomes a hassle. Women feel it is acceptable to be emotional but it's a deal-breaker when a guy cannot be optimistic.

Extra tip: Train yourself to be a man of positive thoughts and words and you will attract her.

"What does that mean?" Yahaba asks with a puzzled face.

"I think it means that you shouldn't be talkative and be bragging off the bat. You need to be a good listener and have positive things to say in the rights moments," Kunimi explains.

"You can do that, instead of being quiet in class, you should speak more and spark up a conversation with the others," Hanamaki says.

"Hey, you can pull that up on your phone later tonight, right now we should begin practice," Iwaizumi interrupts, snatching his phone. "We've already wasted half an hour talking."

Oikawa repeats the step in his mind for a few minutes, then he and the team begin warm-ups to start practice.

.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.

The brunette lies face up on his futon, sighing deeply and staring at his phone. The fan in his room hums slightly on the floorboards, a cool feel in the rectangle room.

He scrolls through the steps that Iwaizumi gave him on his phone and sighs again.

How am I going to be able to focus on this, school, and the inter-high prelims coming up? He grumbles from his thoughts, shutting off his phone and switching to his side toward the fan.

It blows at his face, sending slight shivers down his spine as he adjusts to the coolness. The baby hairs move away from his forehead upon the impact of the wind from the fan.

I can do this, I've talked to many girls before this, shouldn't be any different, He smirks at himself. Then again those girls are fangirls of mine, and L/N doesn't even know who I am.

Tooru buries his face in his pillow, groaning loudly and dramatically.
