Once the teacher enters the classroom and takes roll call, the bell rings, signaling the start of the day and to get to your first period.

L/N grabs her bag from the hook underneath her desk, swings it around her head to the opposite shoulder, and walks out of the room.

Oikawa does the same thing, grabbing the paper and following behind L/N. Iwaizumi sees Oikawa getting up quickly without waiting for him, and gets agitated.

"That moron," He mumbles to himself, catching up to Oikawa. "Yo Shittykawa, our class is this way!"

Oikawa suddenly comes to a halt when Iwaizumi grabs the back of his collar, walking in the opposite direction of L/N.

"Darn it!" He complains, letting his friend drag him to class.

"You'll see her in the second period, now hurry up," Iwaizumi rolls his eyes.

.~.~.~.~.~.~.

The bell rings once again, telling the students to get to the second period, and making Oikawa jump out of his seat in excitement.

He rushes out of the classroom once Iwazumi gestures he's ready to go. The two walk into the hallway, Oikawa trying to find L/N in it. They walk closely to the lockers and classroom doors to squeeze past the wave of students getting to class. They pass one classroom door that swings open in Oikawa's face.

"Ow..." The brunette grabs his glasses which pushed up on his face and rubs his nose.

"Oh! Shoot, I'm very sorry!" A girl walks out, seeing that she hit someone, and closes the door. Iwaizumi stops in his tracks when he heard Oikawa yelp in pain, turns around, and sees that he got hit. He starts laughing to himself.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just watch where you're-" Oikawa begins, his eyes closed at first rubbing his nose, and then putting his glasses back on. He stops his sentence midway when he realizes who he is talking to.

"That was my bad," L/N scratches the back of her neck, looking up at Oikawa.

"I-It's fine... I'm fine," Oikawa mumbles.

"Right... see ya!" L/N pauses, turns around, and then walks away to get to class.

"Very smooth Shittykawa," Iwaizumi walks up to his friend, still laughing.

"Ugh, shut up!" Oikawa gets angry, walking away from Iwaizumi to follow L/N to their classroom.

Swarms of students walk in, finding a desk and talking to classmates and friends. Oikawa and Iwaizumi find their assigned spot, the brunette having to jokingly wave goodbye to his friend since they sit far away.

He sits down and starts to scan the room for the girl, only to realize she sits in front of him.

He doesn't know what to do, what to say, or how to approach her. Usually, the girls approach him, and it's easy to talk when they don't know what to say themselves and stutter. However, this is different, L/N doesn't seem to know who he is and what he does, meaning she won't spark up a conversation.

Instantly, his ego strikes, and he begins to speak.

"Hey, you're that girl in the newspaper right?" Oikawa taps L/N's shoulder and she turns around.

"Yeah... I am. You're that guy I accidentally opened the door on aren't you?" L/N questions.

That's all she knows me as? I've been on the cover of the paper many times, Oikawa thinks, a slight pang in his chest from being told that he is remembered in that way.

     "Y-Yes that's me," Oikawa sweatdrops.

"Ah, sorry about that, once again. I have to get used to the fact that the principal's office is not like the other classroom doors," L/N guiltily smiles at him.

"Oh, yeah, makes sense," Oikawa states.

Idiot, ask her why she was in there and keep the conversation going! Oikawa's voice inside his mind yells at him. He's about to question her when the bell blocks him from speaking. The teacher up front begins the class and L/N turns back around to pay attention. Oikawa sighs deeply at his failed attempt to get to know her more.

.~.~.~.~.~.~.

Throughout the entire day, Oikawa realizes that the girl on the front page is in a majority of his classes. He's never seen her before, so why is it when he sees her on the front page rather than himself he begins to notice her?

L/N is rather quiet in class, only speaking up to answer a question or when she's called to answer. Most of the time, she's doing her work or reading when she's done doing her work. That may be the fact on why he's never seen her, but he's still upset it took him two years and several months.

During volleyball practice, his mind is on the girl, meaning his sets aren't as precise as usual. His teammates notice and only act on their question when Iwaizumi stops the practice.

"Okay, that's it," Iwaizumi yells, walking toward Oikawa and shoving the volleyball cart away from him. "What's going on? You're being more annoying and crappier than usual."

"Hey! Not nice, nothing's wrong," Oikawa lies.

"I'll have to agree, something's up with you man," Kindaichi raises his hand.

"Is it a girl?" Yahaba smirks, questioning Oikawa.

"What? You mean a fan girl finally broke through?" Watari looks astonished.

"Nothing's wrong here, let's just get back to work," Oikawa grumbles, lying once again.

"You can't fool us, tell us what it is," Iwaizumi stops his friend from grabbing another ball.

"It is a girl," Yahaba nudges Kunimi, whispering. Kunimi just rolls his eyes, looking tired.

"You've seen that front page of the paper... right?" Oikawa gives in, asking his team. Immediately, all the members speak up.

     "Oh, you mean L/N?"

"Isn't she in most of your classes?"

"I didn't know she was a fan girl."

"Not this again," Iwaizumi grunts, grabbing a volleyball and chucking it at Oikawa. "You idiot! Why don't you just talk to her?!"

"I can't seem to! Don't hit me again please Iwa!" Oikawa yells, barely dodging the ball and falling to the floor.

"I'm surprised the great Oikawa can't talk to a girl that he likes," Matsukawa helps Oikawa off his feet, chuckling at him.

"I would think you'd do anything to get her attention," Hanamaki thinks.

"Hey, Shittykawa, I got an idea," Iwaizumi says, walking toward the bleacher and grabbing his phone. "You should just look it up on the internet."

"Oh yeah! That's a good idea, it actually has some helpful advice," Watari points out.

"How do you know that?" Kindaichi questions, Watari ignores him.

"No! I'm not gonna use the web!" Oikawa shouts, not wanting to be proven wrong by a mere device when it comes to talking to girls. "I'll try tomorrow, I'll be able to get her to like me."

"Right," Iwaizumi rolls his eyes, turning around to the team. While Oikawa begins to wonder what he could do to get L/N's attention, the team behind him starts to bet about what will happen tomorrow.

"Why aren't you boys practicing?! The inter-high prelims are in a couple months!!" The head coach for Seijoh slams the door open and yells at his students for standing around. The team panics at the sight of their coach, bowing to him to apologize, and instantly get back to practice.
