I was hiding myself under the blanket as I watch nemi get ready for his mission. Even though I live with him for months already I never really go to mission with him. Like, never.

Everytime I ask if I can follow him he always say no. But, when he come back, he gives me treats called..konpeito..dango... I can't remember much... But, my favorite treat is ohagi! It's so sweet like I could eat it forever!

'Today, I'm gonna follow him on.. On... Where ever he go to! ' I beamed

"If you're still gonna follow me on my mission then no. " he suddenly muttered.

Sanemi's POV:

"But whyyyyy.. " she frowned.

"Cause I said so. "

"You always said that! "

"Also, didn't father said I can follow you wherever you had a mission? It's my choice if I want to follow or not! " she continued

Oh yeah, did I forgot to tell you? She even called Oyakata-sama father even though I threatened her not to. But she didn't budge nor like give a fuck about it. Oyakata-sama didn't mind though.

But....she is right. Oyakata-sama did say she can follow me on my mission anytime she wants. Not that I mind but... I just didn't want her to ruined it. Maybe... She can follow me this time?

Hayami's POV:

"Fine." He suddenly spoke

I smiled widely at his word "Really?!? Thank you thank you thank youuuu! " I beamed while running around the room

"When we'll gonna go? " I ask excitedly

"After the sun sets. So you'll won't burn. "

"Alright! "

Sanemi's POV:

We're both were on our mission since the sun was already set.

*sigh 'cant believe I bought her to our mission... ' I deadpanned. Suddenly she started to sing some sort of lullaby.

Finally, we're arive at the place. It's an abandoned shrine. As we got inside, I told her to stay put at the corner inside the shrine so she doesn't bother me. But, she frowned at the idea.

"Ehh... I thought we were supposed to do it together... " she pouted

"Not today. Maybe next time. But I'm not promising it. So stay put. Got it? "

She just nodded

*sigh "after our mission, I'll give you tons of ohagi as a treat if you just stay put alright? "

And with that, her frown turned upside down. "Really?!? Okay then! "

"Good, stay here, if anything happens, just called me. Okay? " I spoke as I patted her head

"Got it! "

Then I go further inside the shrine

Hayami's POV:

I was humming as I waited for nemi to come back. I can't wait to goble those sweet!

15 minutes has passed, it can't be that long right? I mean, as long I get my treat I can wait for hundred years more. It's not like I'm gonna be dead anyway.

But then suddenly I heard some noises. I turned around as I saw nothing. 'Nemi? ' I thought

Then, I heard noises again. I looked around and yet saw nothing again.

Then I heard noises on top of the roof. As I looked up, a demon suddenly tackled on top of me.

It was a lower five.

Suddenly, nemi came out of nowhere. When he saw the demon tackled me he screamed

"Hayami! "

Sanemi's POV:

'Fuck, where is it... ' I thought as I chased the demon but he used his blood demon art so I lost a track on him.

'Looks like it went to the main place... Wait, Hayami! ' I thought as I fastened my pace to the main place

As I got there, I saw the demon tackled Hayami. I screamed

"Hayami! "

I was about to use my breath till the demon uses his blood demon art and bought him and Hayami to somewhere else.

Hayami's POV:

'Where am I?... It's so dark in here... ' I thought as I d
Suddenly appeared nowhere but a pitch black place.

I turned into my adult form incase someone attacked me again.

'I'll just use my blood demon art... ' I thought

Blood demon art : Ray of suns!

A light appeared on my palm as my surroundings engulfed with light. And I was right, it was a pitch black room.

Even though I'm a demon, somehow I can use a sun blood demon art. Kinda weird right?

Suddenly, I heard noises behind. Before I could even react, the demon tackled me from behind.

I yelped as the demon let out an chuckles.

"You... The demon master were looking for... If I caught your head master would be so pleased and give me so much blood! I'm so lucky today! " the demon laughed

'Master who? Do I even know them? Why looking for me? ' I thought

"What are you talking about?.. " I ask

"Oh dear.. Do you even know how much you worth if any of us caught you? Probably not. The one who escape from master control get punished once they get caught and the one who got it rewarded with so much blood!" he answered

Oh wow... Am I that worth it?

"Hey... You're heavy as fuck... Get off... " I spoke

And it raged him. Before he could even attacked me, I made the first move.

I burned the demon face as he screamed and quickly let go of me.

"You... " the demon muttered

Strings filled with unknown substances suddenly attached to my hands, neck and my legs.

He started to control my body around and it irked me.

The strings burned as it snapped, though one of the strings managed to cut off my hand. I narrowed my eyes at the demon while my hand started to reagreanate back.

Kazuha'sPOV:

'What is this feeling? ' I thought as my body started to shook

Suddenly, out of nowhere her hand grabbed my head as she burned me using her blood demon art.

'Hot! Hot! Not again! ' I thought. I was about to use my blood demon art but she cut off both of my hands then muttered

"Die."

I stiffen as I feel my neck got sliced. My head fell rolling onto the floor as my body fall.

'What? No way... I... Lose? But... I almost got her... ' I thought for the last time before my face crumbled into dust

Hayami's POV:

I sighed softly. "Finally he's dead... " I muttered as I feel tired all over my body.

"But, I'm still stuck in here... How do I-"

Suddenly I felt floating onto a mid-air inside the shrine. I closed my eyes to embrace for the impact when suddenly I felt someone caught me.

Sanemi's POV:

50 minutes has passed... I still cannot find Hayami... where she could've been to?

Suddenly, I heard something behind me, I quickly turned around. It was Hayami. INTO THE MID-AIR?!?

She was about to fall when I quickly caught her in a bridal-style. Slowly, she opened her eyes and got a wide smile on her face when she saw me.

"Nemi! I was so worried about you. Guess what!"

"What? "

"I beat the demon! "

"You did? "

"Yeah, and..... " and there goes with her blabbering

Wanting to ignore her, I looked down. Till, I accidentally saw her cleavage. My face turned best red as I saw it. I never really see her body so this is new.

I peeped my eyes to look at her to make sure she doesn't realize anything. Slowly, I cover her cleavage while she kept talking

"Did you get hurt? " I ask

"No at all! There's no way I'm gonna let a demon or human hurt me. I'm strong! Like you! "

That flatter me

"So when I will get my treat? "

"Tomorrow"

"Ehh.. But I want it now... "

"You'll fall asleep"

"No I'm no-"

And with that she fall asleep as she formed into her child form.

I sighed quietly as I got out from the shrine

'Maybe I should give her extra sweets for defeating the demon...' I thought as I heading to my estate.
