It was Madison who broke the long silence. "Maybe because she has a little secret that she's been keeping from all of you."
Evelyn could feel her heart skip a beat, as her body temperature rose. She knew that Madison didn't particularly like her for some silly reason, but she didn't expect her to put her on the spot like that. However, maybe it was for the best after all.
The Davenport teens gathered around their old friend. It was obvious that they wanted answers.
Evelyn knew deep down that they would be hurt by her decision to not tell them - it was one of her worst traits. She, at times, could care so little about other people's feelings and often hurt them in the process, which she regretted later.
She was trying to find her words, as the siblings began to grow restless. How difficult could it be, to tell the truth anyway?, Bree thought to herself. Then again, she wasn't as close to Evelyn as she was to Elizabeth. If her little sister kept a huge secret from her for years, she would be hurt too.
Adam on the other hand was mesmerized by the thought of his dinner and had actually forgotten that it was just revealed that Evelyn had been keeping a secret from him.
Leo kept his gaze fixated on Evelyn for the first ten minutes of her silence. He didn't want to push her, but this was getting frustrating.
Evelyn couldn't find the words, nor the air - which was ironic in her case - the speak the truth.
Leo's gaze suddenly shifted from the girl to Oliver and Kaz returning with puffed chests. "Wow, these guys seem really confident."
Madison took one look at the duo and knew in an instant that they had no idea what to do or how to cure the unconscious boy.
"Thank you so much for allowing us to bring him here and save him," Adam said, looking from his little brother to the two "confident" boys. "I have to admit, I had my doubt."
"Rightly so," Madison mumbled, resulting in an immediate nudge in her ribs by Kaz. She wanted to make another remark but decided not to as to not upset the Davenports even more. They were upset enough as it was.
"I never doubted Oliver for a second," Bree suddenly confessed, looking at her two brothers. "He has such a trustworthy face, just look at him."
Those last words, she said to her younger sister. Elizabeth had had no doubts in Oliver so far either, but she didn't parade it around like her sister. Bree and she were close, but whenever Bree liked a guy, she could become so obsessed with him, which bothered Elizabeth greatly.
In the meantime, Oliver had peeled open an orange he was keeping in his pocket. He was actually surprised to see that it hadn't been squashed yet. His face turned very sour - as was the orange itself - hence the face.
"Aw," Bree said, making her way over to Oliver. "Look at his cute, weird, twisted face."
Skylar, who had the tendency to leave Oliver at a save distance - while he drooled over her -, turned her attention to the two lovebirds with a confused expression. She leaned over to Kaz and asked, "What's up with that?"
"She has a crush on Oliver," Kaz told her. Just the mere confirmation of it made Skylar jealous. Madison too. "I'll explain later. Although, there really is no logical explanation."
"Listen, we need to stop the Incapacitator. How long until Chase is good to go?" Leo questioned to Oliver and Kaz.
Oliver and Kaz gave each other a knowing look.
"Uh, I really wouldn't wait around for Chase," Kaz said, but then it got very quiet.
Madison decided to help them out a little and spoke, "I think it would be a good idea that some focus on stopping the Incapacitator and some stay behind with Chase."
"Who will be fine, I'm fully confident," Oliver added and puffed up his chest again.
Leo nodded. "Well, you do look confident, so okay."
This time it was Elizabeth who looked at her own stepbrother, and then shook her head. Her family was so easily fooled, it was sad at times.
Evelyn was the only one - except for Chase - who hadn't said a word after the return of Oliver and Kaz. She was too worried to follow the conversation. She wanted to tell her best friends about her secret but began to feel really bad once she saw them and realised that she hadn't told them yet.
It has been two whole years. She had two years to tell them and never did.
"Huh, I was waiting for Chase to tell us the plan," Adam spoke out of the blue. Even though he thought it was nice and quiet without Chase nagging at him, he had to admit that he missed his little brother. He had gotten so used to by now that Chase always created the plan.
"I'll tell you what the plan is," Bree reassured her older brother. "Kaz and Leo stay here, while Oliver and I go catch the Incapacitator because he.. is.. cute!"
"So.. are.. you," Oliver said, for the first time successfully flirting back.
Skylar pushed herself between the two and wrapped her arms around them. "I'll.. come.. too."
"You'll need more people to stop the Incapacitator," Elizabeth argued. "I'll join you too."
"What if Adam, Kaz and Leo stay here, and the rest of us go to stop the Incapacitator?" Bree finally budged her own plan. She wasn't particularly in the mood to go anymore. She had a feeling that Skylar was going to keep getting in-between her and Oliver.
Evelyn also wasn't happy with the plan. Both Adam and Leo were staying behind, meaning that another chance was ruined.
Madison was debating whether or not to stay. She probably wouldn't be of much help at Mighty Med, while she could be vital against the Incapacitator. She just wanted to make sure he was alright, and leaving her behind with Kaz, Leo and Adam probably wasn't the best option.
Adam had picked up an item and held it up. "What's this thing?"
"That's a reflex hammer," Oliver explained to him.
Adam shrugged in response and threw it backwards, causing the hammer to hit another superhero's head. The superhero fell to the floor, and Adam lit up. "He's got great reflexes."
Everyone's face was turned to see what Adam just did and Kaz spoke up, "Okay, new plan. Adam's on your team."

It was after a whole fight between Bree and Skylar - in which Elizabeth got involved because she didn't appreciate the tone that Skylar took against Bree, and Evelyn got involved because she couldn't appreciate Bree's tone against Skylar - and Adam accidentally breaking The Crusher's back when Oliver finally returned with a sketch of the Incapacitator's location.
Skylar still wanted to let Adam, Bree and Elizabeth know that they are definitely not superheroes. "We should have more superheroes to help stop the Incapacitator, and technically, you're not superheroes. You're more like very impressive appliances."
"Don't act so superior, Skylar," Madison then spoke. "Your superhero status was revoked after what happened with the Annihilator, so technically, you're not a superhero. You're more like a very impressive alien."
"Alien?" Bree questioned, as she got intrigued.
"Guys, come on. We don't have the time for this," Oliver said. "I got the sketch of the Incapacitator's location, but also," He took out a sketch of the seven of them. "I got him to draw a sketch of us too."
"It's not realistic at all," Adam huffed, taking the sketch. "My ears are nowhere near that small."
"That's Skylar," Elizabeth clarified for him.
"Oh," Adam said, and looked from the sketch to Skylar, before making a disgusted sound. Yes, Adam was definitely straightforward.
Skylar shyly put her hair over her ears, while walking over to Oliver. "Anyway... Where is the Incapacitator?"
"According to this sketch, he's in Paris. We need to get there fast, so let's use the wormhole transporter," Oliver explained the plan, and everyone simply agreed.
"Hold on, we're going to Paris?! Booja!" Adam beamed and slammed something on the floor. "Oh... That broke."
"Adam, they do that in Greece, not Paris," Elizabeth clarified once more.
"Honestly, how do you guys have nice stuff with this guy?" Madison asked Bree, who shrugged.
"We don't. All the things that we do own, we hide."
"Everyone huddle up, we have to hurry," Oliver suddenly urged.
They huddled up - Bree was almost cuddling Oliver until Skylar pushed herself in-between them again - and Oliver transported them to the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Madison began to get even more annoyed at the two girls fighting for Oliver's attention. "Is there also someone that doesn't like my brother?"
Bree, Elizabeth and Skylar got all quiet, while Evelyn chuckled. "I don't."
"We're not talking about your crush," Madison warned her and looked around the Eiffel Tower. "He's not here."
Evelyn took another look at the map. "That's because the Incapacitator is in Las Vegas. Look at the background, Oliver."
"No wonder they call this the Awful Tower," Adam said, as he looked around.
"It's pronounced "Eiffel". E-I-F-F-E-L," Elizabeth told her older brother, but he just shrugged.
"Pretty sure you just spelled falafel."
"Let's just go to Las Vegas already," Skylar said impatiently.
"Wait, we're going to Vegas? Booja!" Adam beamed, and continued to slam to transporter onto the platform and off the Eiffel Tower.
"Oh no," Oliver howled. "This is awful."
Adam cleared his throat and was ready to correct Oliver. "I think you mean; falafel."
Bree sped down the Eiffel Tower and actually managed to save the transporter from crashing into pieces. She rushed back up the tower using her super speed and gently threw the device into Oliver's hand. "There you go."
"Wha- Whe- How?!" he stumbled upon his words, clearly impressed by Bree's speed.
"I'm the fastest human on the planet. What did you expect?" she said as if he was supposed to know.
The seven teens went their way to Vegas using the wormhole transponder. The Incapacitator was standing right in front of them. "People come to Vegas for many reasons. I guess you came to be incapacitated."
Madison rolled her eyes at the horrible pun he just made with his villain name.
"And for the buffet," Adam said on a duh-tone.
"Now, with the Davenport energy transponder, I can absorb all the energy in the world and leave it in complete darkness," the Incapacitator beamed, as the city of Vegas went dark.
"There's still something like candles you know," Madison retorted.
"Give it up, Incapacitator. You're totally outnumbered," Skylar warned him. The villain responded by making five replicas of himself. "Well, technically, you're still outnumbered so my statement holds up."
Bree was the first to attack one of the Incapacitator's replicas. She sped forward and cornered him. As she kept speeding around him, he blocked her. He held over the railing of the fake Eiffel Tower. Bree struggled to try and get free, but couldn't do it; he was too strong.
Luckily, Adam came to her rescue. He pulled the replica off her, and helped her back on the Eiffel Tower, before continuing to wrestle with the replica.
This caused Bree to be without an opponent, but for a very short amount of time. She quickly noticed - only moments after Skylar did - that Oliver was in danger.
Skylar had already cleared him from immediate danger and got the replica's attention. Bree rushed to the scene, and the two kicked the replica to one of the corners together.
While Skylar and Bree were having a small moment, Elizabeth noticed another replica snoop up behind Oliver. She became invisible - one of her bionic abilities - and snuck up to the large man. She used one of her usually defensive tactics and induced him into a deep sleep using her hypnokinesis.
Oliver looked behind him when he heard the large body thump behind him. When Elizabeth became visible again in front of his eyes, he smiled kindly to her, causing her to blush. Fortunately for her, Oliver didn't notice due to the darkness.
One other replica had floored Skylar at this point in the fight. She was helpless against him; Whatever move she would make, he would be quicker. "Goodbye, Skylar Storm," he said.
"Hello, Incapacitator," Leo said, successfully getting his attention away from Skylar and punching him across the Eiffel Tower using his bionic strength.
The three boys from the Mighty Med hospital had arrived at the scene without any notice of the others - until Leo had punched a replica through the air.
Chase locked the car and rushed over to help out his older brother with one of the replicas.
Leo had apparently angered the real Incapacitator, instead of just a replica. The angry villain held the boy up in one of his green energy bubbles - the same method he used to take down the three superheroes at once on the Bionic Island - and Leo began to panic.
Evelyn had so far tried to keep her powers under wraps, but seeing that Leo was in danger, she felt like she had no choice. She held her two hands near her hip and generated a wind strong enough to blast the Incapacitator through the air.
As the Incapacitator focused his attention to Evelyn, she turned into a light-blue mist and flew right through him, resulting in him falling over.
In the meantime, Madison had been fighting against her own replica of the Incapacitator and had received no help so far. Then again, her two best friends were curers, not fighters.
She decided to make an end to her Incapacitator when his gaze fell on Chase. She was quick to create and fire her signature dark blue with purple electricity strike right into his chest. The fake villain shattered into a million sharp pieces.
"Kaz, you did it! You cured Chase," she overheard the conversation between her older brother and best friend.
"Uh, not really," Kaz said hesitantly. "He's gonna blow up."
She heard a growl from behind her and realized that someone was going to hurt her. She turned around to see another Incapacitator run towards her. She had no time to think of what to do, but she was in luck.
Chase had seen the scene evolve right in front of him, and rushed in front of the girl. He created his force field and shielded the two from harm for as far as he could, as they flew backwards.
The Incapacitators were victorious, as all the superheroes and bionic heroes lay defeated before him, with only Oliver and Kaz still standing.
"I hope you're all ready to be destroyed," the real Incapacitator said with a smug grin on his face.
"I have a plan!" Kaz quickly cut the villain off. "Chase, jump off the tower."
"Do you maybe have another idea?" the bionic teen asked him astonished.
"You have protonic energy building up in your chip, if he gets it, he'll be unstoppable," Kaz explained to him. Madison instantly knew he was trying to somehow trick the Incapacitator, but she didn't know how that was going to work.
"He has protonic energy in him?" The Incapacitator said, immediately getting intrigued in the boy he first found so worthless of his time. "I'll take that, thank you."
He absorbed the energy out of Chase, causing Chase to scream in the process due to the pain. Madison couldn't help herself but to take his hand in support after the villain was done.
"What did he do to Chase?!" Bree blurted out in full panic.
"Chase is fine," Kaz said, as he was now the one with the smug grin on his face. "All the Incapacitator did was remove the virus."
"Virus?" he questioned to the black-haired boy. "What virus?"
"You know the one that will make you explode if your blood pressure gets excessively high? Like when you realise that a boy in high school just ruined your entire plan," Kaz replied, aggravating the Incapacitator to the point where he began to explode from within. "Yeah, like that. Everybody duck!"
Everyone ducked away from the explosion, and soon the entire city of Las Vegas was lit up again.
Chase turned to Kaz. "That virus was in me and you didn't tell me?!"
"It's fine, Chase. At least it worked," Leo reassured his older stepbrother, diminishing the fact that he could've exploded.
"Did you ever doubt me?" Kaz asked Leo, actually asking a rhetorical question, but that's not how Leo received it.
"Yeah," he replied. "Ever since the "urine" test."
"And rightly so," Madison said again and received the same reaction from Kaz. They laughed about it and went back to Mighty Med.
After Chase and Kaz switched back their intelligence - and Chase freaking out whether or not he had it back and Kaz pretending to be a dairy cow with a blown-up glove - the ten of them said their goodbyes.
Bree cut things off with Oliver after Skylar made her realize that Oliver reminded her of Chase.
Elizabeth heard this, but it made her realize that Oliver truly doesn't remind her of Chase. She was actually quite happy that Bree was over Oliver in an instant, but would never tell anyone that.
Evelyn walked over to her two old best friends. "Hey."
"So you have superpowers? You're like a superhero?" Leo immediately questioned. Evelyn could only nod.
"That's it?" Adam then asked. "That's what you were so afraid to tell us?"
Evelyn again could only nod, as the lump in her throat got bigger.
"But that's great news!" Adam beamed, and Leo agreed with him
Evelyn looked surprised to the two brothers. "You're not upset that I didn't tell you before?"
"Meh. It's forgiven," Leo shrugged with a smile before the three hugged each other goodbye.
When Evelyn told Chase, he answered just like she had expected; bickering about it. "You were so much better when you were still unconscious," she joked to tease him, and they also said their goodbyes.
Madison had said her goodbyes to everyone, except for Chase. She was a bit anxious to walk up to him; she didn't know him that well anyway. I mean, he was unconscious for most of the time, she thought to herself.
Chase felt the same way about her. He was a bit nervous since he had formed a little crush on her while there.
The two eventually shared an awkward handshake.
"Goodbye, everyone!" Oliver, Madison, Skylar and Evelyn said in unison, as Bree readied herself for takeoff.
Kaz smiled to the bionic siblings. "And who knows, maybe we'll see each other again."
