The city was ablaze with the news of the new traffic rules and the sudden spike in fines. People complained, argued, and debated, but the one thing they couldn't ignore was the immediate effect on the city's traffic situation. It was as if a silent revolution had taken place overnight.

Anika knew that the strict measures were necessary, but the backlash was stronger than she had anticipated. The opposition party was quick to capitalize on the public's dissatisfaction, calling her a dictator and accusing her of being out of touch with the common man.

Meanwhile, Arwan was working tirelessly behind the scenes to support Anika's initiatives. He knew the changes were for the better, but the political storm it had created was something he hadn't anticipated.

He was so lost in his thoughts But then a voice pulls him out of his thoughts it was none other than his wife Rishika "What happened Arwan?"

"Nothing, just thinking about work," Arwan replied, trying to shrug off the weight of his conversation with Anika.

Rishika studied him for a moment before speaking up. "I know it's not just work, Arwan. You've been distant ever since that meeting with CM. What's going on? Are you okay?"

Arwan sighed, the guilt of his unspoken words weighing on him. "It's nothing you need to worry about," he said, avoiding eye contact.

"Arwan," Rishika's voice was firm but filled with concern, "we might not be in love, but we are married. I know something is bothering you-"

*Arwan's phone rang*

"Alright I'm coming"

"Alright I'm coming" arwan said on call, "rishika i had to go, a urgent work came up"

Saying this he left from there, in his way to his office his mind was filled with thoughts of anika, how he can meet her how he can tell her all the things happen that day.

He reached his office and was immediately greeted by his assistant with a pile of pending work. He sighed and took his seat, trying to focus on the tasks at hand. However, his mind kept drifting back to Anika.

"Ladki ruko tum ase CM madam ke office m nhi ja sakti" Bhaskar tried to stop a girl who was insisting on meeting Anika.

"Bhaskar" anika said making both of them stand at there place. "Mam mene bahut roka magr ye ladki-" anika signal him to stop and leave. "Aao, have a seat" anika said to that girl. She hurriedly sat and said "Mam mam-" she was panting, Anika passed her a glass of water "have some water first" she drank it.

"madam hamara naam aarohi h, hamare ilake me ek prakash naam ka dada h jo drugs sell krta h aur vo bhi bahut chote chote baccho tk ko bhi nhi chhoda h uss kamine ne mam aur to aur vo ladkiyo ko tk sell krta h mam aksar kisi na kisi ladki ke lapata hone ki khabar aati h"

The words of the girl hit Anika like a ton of bricks. She felt her blood boil with anger at the thought of someone so vile preying on the innocent in her state. "Why you didn't report this to any police station?" she asked, her voice tight with rage.

"Mam sab bekau h, vo prakash dada kuch paise fenkta h aur vo sab bik jate h isliye humne waha khabar hi nahi kri"

The words of the girl, Aarohi, hit Anika like a hammer, and she knew she had to take immediate action. But she know that there is a person who can handle this situation without any fear and without any interference of the corrupted system. That person was none other than Arwan.

"Bhaskar, call DSP Raghuvanshi in my office right now"

"Yes, Madam"

Whatever is going on between them she can't ignore the fact that Arwan is best in his job. His reputation for being a no-nonsense, corruption-free officer was well-known.

"Don't worry aarohi, we will help you don't worry mhm hum tumare sath h, i am going to appoint an excellent officer for this case" ankia said assuring her.

"Mam kahi vo officer bhi uske-" aarohi said but Anika interrupted her "I know whom to trust Aarohi, don't worry mhm"
