Y/N's POV
"Would you maybe..take me to school?" I ask Georgie with a convincing forced smile. "This is my only day off, Nope." He says. After a lot of convincing, he finally agrees. "Fine. But you owe me." Georgie says as he grabs his keys off the counter before we leave.

As I stroll into school, I realize I've missed my entire first period. On my way to second period, I spot Veronica Dunkin handing out flyers. I'm not a fan of Veronica, she's been a bully in the past (before her transformation). I try to avoid her gaze as I head to class, but just before I pass by, she forcefully hands me a flyer. "You're invited too, loser," she sneers, rolling her eyes. Glancing at the flyer announcing Veronica's party, I cringe. I'm not a fan of parties, especially with older folks; attending one isn't my style. "Oh, no thanks, I-" I begin, but she cuts me off. "Everyone's going, so you better show up, or else," she threatens, popping her bubblegum. I roll my eyes, stuff the flyer into my backpack, and continue on to class.
As I enter into my second period classroom, all eyes turn in my direction. Walking awkwardly to my desk, I sense the weight of everyone's gaze upon me. Why's the spotlight on me today? Taking my seat, whispers ripple through the room, all eyes fixed on me. Anxious and uneasy, I start to fidget, tapping my right leg and twiddling my fingers nervously. Suddenly, a girl beside me leans in and asks, "Is it true about you and Derek?" Confused, I shoot her a puzzled look, only to have her burst into giggles. What is happening? What's she talking about?

As the final bell rang, I couldn't help but grin as I spotted Sheldon settled in the backseat of Mrs. Cooper's car waiting to pick me up. I walked over and got in beside him. "How was your day without me?" Sheldon inquired with a smile. "It felt odd. I got invited to a party, and there seems to be some gossip about me circulating, but I can't figure out what it is," I shared before leaning my head on Sheldon's comforting shoulder, stealing a glance to see his smile. "Interesting. Whose party was it?" he asked, showing his concern, knowing how much he dislikes such gatherings. "Veronica Dunkin's," I replied, still puzzled. Sheldon nodded thoughtfully, gently running his fingers through my hair. I smile.
I've never experienced such happiness and ease with anyone before. It's like a whole new sensation I've never encountered. It's like my heart feels lighter and my worries fade away when I'm around them. It's like being wrapped in a warm blanket of comfort and joy. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's a feeling that makes me smile uncontrollably and feel at peace. It's like finding a piece of myself that I never knew was missing.
