Dean pulled away "Damn, it's good to see you. Nice peach fuzz."

"Thank you." Cas answered plainly his eyes finding Benny.  "You should meet somebody. This is Benny. Benny, this is Cas." Dean introduced glancing between the two while Jovi winced at the awkwardness of the situation, Cas looked at Benny like he was offended that they'd replaced him...yet Cas left them...

"Hola." Benny spoke staring at Cas.

"Awkward" Jovi muttered glancing at the floor kicking a stone before wincing at the sting that went through her thigh, she kept forgetting about the wound that was slowly healing. But she'll admit if it wasn't for her powers they'd definitely of had to amputate her leg by this point, her powers were the only thing keeping it from getting infected or worse.

"How did you find me?" Cas questioned them his voice as blunt as ever.

"The bloody way. You feeling okay?" Dean asked him his eyes looking Cas over in concern noticing the attitude the angel had.

"You mean am I still..." Cas points to his head and makes circles with his finger. Jovi shrugged looking up at him with a head tilt. "are you?"

Cas glanced down at her almost emotionlessly "No. I'm perfectly sane. But, then, 94% of psychotics think they're perfectly sane, so I guess we'd have to ask ourselves, what is sane?"

Jovi just blinked looking up at her father shaking her head "I don't think he's got all his marbles" Dean sent her a scolding look before glancing up at Cas "That's a good question."

"Why'd you bail on Dean and Jovi?" Benny suddenly spoke up which learnt wide eyed looks from both Winchesters "Dude –"

"The way I hear it, you three hit monster land, and hot wings here took off. I figure he owes you some backstory." Benny said which actually Jovi kind of agreed on, wasn't Cas supposed to be her guardian angel? Some guardian he is...

"Look, we were surrounded, okay? Some freak jumped Cas. Obviously, he kicked its ass, right?" Dean said glancing between them before settling on Cas who had an unreadable expression on his face before saying "No." his voice barely above a whisper, Jovi blinked in disbelief, so she was right he actually bailed on them?!

"What?" Both Jovi and Dean said in unison shock in their tones.

"I ran away." Cas admitted making Dean blink at him "You ran away?"

"I had to."

"That's your excuse for leaving me and my daughter with those gorilla-wolves?" Dean snapped a her filling his voice "which I handled no thanks to you" Jovi added sassily, okay, she lost control too but she still handled the situation...

Cas' eyes darted between the two "Dean –"

"You bailed out and, what, went camping? I prayed to you, Cas, every night." Dean hissed at him "Jovi got hurt, and she's lucky we were able to fix it without you're help"

Cas' eyes flickered down to Jovi noticing the flannel wrapped around her thigh, his eyes softened slightly.
"I know."

Dean narrowed his eyes tilting his head staring at his friend with disappointment and anger "You know and you didn't... What the hell's wrong with you?"

"I am an angel in a land of abominations. There have been things hunting me from the moment we arrived." Cas told them his voice rising, Dean then yelled "Join the club!"

"These are not just monsters, Dean. They're Leviathan. I have a price on my head, and I've been trying to stay one step ahead of them, to – to keep them away from you both." Deans eyes softened slightly watching as Cas looked out at the water "That's why I ran. Just leave me, please."

The 11 year old felt slightly guilty for thinking he'd betrayed them now but she also knew they could've all worked together which would've caused less problems for everyone and her leg could've been healed straight away...

"Sounds like a plan. Let's roll." Benny stated patience running thin.

"Hold on, hold on. Cas, we're getting out of here. We're going home." Dean told him eyes locked onto Cas who just stared at his feet saying. "Dean, I can't." Jovi furrowed her brows staring at Cas in confusion, why the hell not?

"You can. Benny, tell him."

"Purgatory has an escape hatch, but I got no idea if it's angel-friendly." Benny told them glancing between all three of them. "Only one way to find out" Jovi said with a shrug, Dean adding "We'll figure it out. Cas, buddy, we need you."

Cas sighed his eyes full of dread as his head tilted "Dean..."

"And if Leviathan want to take a shot at us, let 'em. We ganked those bitches once before. We can do it again." Dean finished voice full of determination as he tried to convince Cas to come with them but Cas still wasn't fully on board stating "It's too dangerous."

"Let me bottom-line it for you. I'm not leaving here without you. Understand?" Dean told him not leaving any space for argument, Cas finally gave in staring at Dean with new hope filled eyes "I understand."

Jovi looked up at Cas "can you heal my leg now?"

𝑱𝒐𝒗𝒊 𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒅 from her eyes from the vampire whose head she'd just popped. She turned seeing her dad stand up after killing a monster and Benny who was cleaning his weapon on another monster's clothing. The last monster swung his weapon at Cas, who put a hand on the monster's head and smites him in a blaze of light.

"Well, I got to admit, Dean – he's got his strong points, but holy hell if he ain't a magnet." Benny spoke his eyes locked onto Cas, Dean turned to him with hard eyes. "Well, before we found Cas, you said it was my humanity that was drawing too much attention or Jovi's power that was drawing too much attention."

"Yeah, I gotta admit you change your mind too much" Jovi added shooting him a sassy look.

"Yeah, well, those too." Benny added making Jovi roll her eyes. Cas then walked up to them eyeing the bodies on the ground. "Well, I think we're clear for the moment. It does present a curious curl in the metaphysics, doesn't it? If you murder a monster in monster heaven, where does it go?"

Jovi blinked processing Cas' words, in all honesty he had a point...

"And this is the crazy aunt I want to take on the road?" Benny remarked turning to the two Winchesters earning a glare from Cas. "I am not your aunt."

Jovi grinned holding back a laugh.

"What? Really?" Benny responded sarcastically, Cas stared back at him with complete seriousness in his eyes. "I have no possible relationship to your sibling offspring."

"Now, you're kidding me."

Jovi snickered finding the whole conversation hilarious which earned a nudge from her father who rolled his eyes less amused by it. "Oh, you two are killing me."

"I have to agree with the vampire, Dean. The risk of crossing Purgatory with a seraph — it's... less than strategic, and certainly when we have no reason to believe that I can pass through the door that you're headed for." Cas agreed with Benny for the first time since they all reunited, Benny then explained "You see, you're an intact, living human being stuck in Purgatory's craw. This dimension wants to spit you out, which is exactly what's gonna power our escape pod. Now, I'm pretty sure I can squeeze through, too, because, after all, you take away the fangs and the fun, I was born human, too. But..."

Benny glanced at Cas who looked down a hopeless look on his face as he then met Dean's eyes once more "I don't think it would work for me."

Benny looked back at Dean and Jovi "You hear what he's telling you, Dean? Your buddy is saying –"

"What are you? The prophet of doom? We get it you don't like angels but suck it up!" Jovi snapped, she had enough of all the arguing and Benny's constant bad mood. Like, she gets he's a vampire stuck in purgatory but get over it! Benny had a look of surprise on his face as he looked down at the sassy blonde, Dean then spoke up before they could make another comment "Listen to me, you undead blood junkie, I'm the one with the mojo. I'm the one with the plan." Dean then glanced back at Cas "Cas... we're gonna shove your ass back through the eye of that needle if it kills all four of us."

Jovi didn't appreciate that last sentence, she didn't wanna die...not yet anyway.

"Obviously, I'm less than comfortable with that." Benny spoke and this time Jovi pointed at him "I'm with the vampire in this one, no offence Cas" the blonde looked back at Cas with a sheepish grin, the angel responding "none taken"

Little glimpse into purgatory and how it effected Jovi and her abilities, I wasn't sure wether or not to write their full purgatory experience as I thought it might get boring after a while and this was long already. Also sorry this is so late work is killing me, literally clocked out at 1am the other night 😃
