Jovi stood beside her dad looking down at what was under the hood of the impala, she was helping him clean it up while also learning what was what. Her blonde hair was tied up into a messy bun the white cami top she wore had some grease stains on it. Dean pointed to a piece under the hood "and that?"

Jovi recalled what he'd told her earlier "valves covers the heads" Dean smiled nodding in satisfaction, glad she actually paying attention to what he was telling her "very good"

A thought crossed her mind as a smile pulled at her lips "hey dad" he hummed looking up at her "when you get too old to drive her, who gets baby? Me or Sam" Dean almost scoffed at her bluntness but then he remembered he was talking to his mini me, Jovi gave him a cheeky grin which almost made him laugh "what? You two have a competition or something?"

Jovi shrugged "it's more of a one sided competition but that doesn't answer the question"

Dean sighed standing up "when you can drive then we'll talk" Jovi gasped excitedly as Dean closed the hood looking up at him with wide psyched eyes "that wasn't a you're not getting her answer! That basically means I'm getting her!"

"Well I'm not going anywhere any time soon so you can forget it for now and so can Sam" Dean told her before walking to the trunk of the impala, Jovi laughed under her breath following after him she was ready to shove it in her uncles face the second her dad wasn't there to hear it "hey" the two turned seeing Sam emerge from the motel room "hey" Dean replied as Sam walked towards them, Jovi didn't say anything she just held a smug smile "how long you two been up?" Sam asked looking between them

"Long enough to find us a case"

Sam furrowed his brows before looking at the impala that Dean had gone back to "I take it that means you're feeling back to normal?"

"Whatever normal is in our world" Dean responded, Sam looked at Jovi who looked like a child trying to contain a sugar rush "and uh, you haven't had coffee have you?" Sam asked his niece she shook her head "nope"

Dean side eyed her "ignore her"

"Rude" Jovi muttered, Dean ruffled her hair making her slap his hands away with a look of annoyance "great now I gotta wash my hair" the teen said glaring at her dad who only laughed in response "so uh, right here" Dean pulled a newspaper from the trunk "a teacher at an all girls school went missing in flint Michigan. She was, uh, headed to her car and then disappeared, nobody's seen her since"

"Dean, there's nothing here to even remotely suggest there's a case" Sam said reading through the paper Dean had handed him "there is nothing there that even remotely suggests there isn't a case...boom" Dean smirked at Sam

"Come on, man"

"Sam, out there hunting - that's the only normal I know" Dean said before throwing the gun into the trunk "we got work to do".

A few hours later they pulled into the schools parking lot, Sam had just gotten off the phone with the police that had given them more information on the case. They all got out of the car as Sam began to tell them about the incident "so, the last place Mrs Chandler was seen by anyone was at the auditorium. Turns out she's the drama teacher" Jovi walked beside her dad looking around at the kids that were entering the building, returning to a school made her slightly uncomfortable her last experience didn't go as expected but a all girls school? That was hell on earth

"Theatre kids - great" Dean commented Sam looked at him "I was a theatre kid" Jovi gasped in amazement "no frickin' way"

"Barely. You did our town which was cool but then you did that crappy musical" Jovi looked back up at Sam a smirk on her face she had no intention of ever letting this go "Oklahoma? Hugh Jackman got cast off Oklahoma!" Sam defended himself "you ran tech, wolverine" Dean responded which made Jovi burst out laughing following after her dad.

After the headteacher showed them to the theatre, the three Winchesters entered seeing some girls on stage but then came to a abrupt halt when they heard a familiar word being spoken "idjits" Jovi turned seeing a girl around her age dressed in a outfit her grandpa Bobby would wear along with the cap and even a fake beard - to say she was confused was a understatement "ya, idjits" the girl repeated with a hand on her hip and then she turned to face the stage pointing at nothing in particular "you are idjits"

Dean turned to share a look with Sam and Jovi when their attention was brought back to the stage "hey, assbutt!" A girl dressed as Cas with fake wings on her back yelled holding a fake Molotov cocktail "hey, assbutt!"

A piano began to play along with a girl dressed as Dean started to sing, Jovi couldn't even hide the smirk forming on her face as she realised what they'd just walked into

"John and Mary, husband and wife"

A pair of girls walked into the set dressed as the Winchester girls grandparents holding a fake baby, Jovi was actually intrigued to watch her dad and uncles story play out right before her eyes - it's not like Dean ever willingly opened up about his mom or dad for that matter

"Bringing home a brand new life, his name was Sammy, I'm big brother Dean. The perfect family of so it seemed"

Jovi laughed at her dads surprised face

"The demons visits had begun, it believed Sam was the chosen one" someone dressed in all black wearing a mask with yellow eyes was now over the crib lifting the fake baby into the air "it burned my mother" the girl that played Mary was now behind a cutout of someone being pinned the the ceiling before screaming "and it cursed my brother. Leaving us in tears" the curtains opened revealing a long stretch of road "on the road so far, yeah the road so far" the impala was brought out with the girls playing John and Sam inside of it "we are in dads car-"

"Cut!"

Jovi's attention was brought to the girl who stood up in the front row wearing the school uniform and hat to go with it, the youngest Winchester was glad she'd never have to wear a school uniform like that. She looked up at her stunned dad and uncle with a grin "it's kinda catchy" Dean now wide eyed shook his head "what in the holy-"

"If there is a case, probably has something to do with all this" Sam stated making Jovi roll her eyes speaking at the same time as Dean "ya think?"

The girl from before then ran up to them excitedly with another girl following her "oh my gosh, a-are you guys from the publisher? I'm-im Marie, the writer/director. This is Maeve, my stage manager, and that was just a dr-"

Sam and Dean pulled out their badges showing the girls but then Sam caught sight of the girls on stage recreating their exact situation making him stop Dean from opening his, Jovi had to bite her lip to stop herself from laughing "I'm special agent Smith, this is my partner special agent..."

"Smith"

"Smith...no relation. But that's uh Smiths daughter-"

"Bring your kid to work day" Dean cut in for Sam sending Marie a smile, Jovi faked a smile "glad to be here"

Marie and Maeve looked between them blankly "we're here to look into the disappearance-"

Dean swiftly cut Sam off "there is no singing in Supernatural" Sam and Jovi sighed eyed Dean at the same time, Jovi almost stomped on his foot as if to tell him to cool it "well, this is Marie's interpretation" Maeve said in a duh tone, Dean scoffed dramatically "well...I mean, if there was singing, you know— and that's a big if, it would be classic rock. Not this...Andrew Floyd Webber crap!" Jovi shook her head closing her eyes in embarrassment "Andrew Lloydwebber" she corrected him, Dean snapped his head to look at her "what?"

"Well, you know, we do sing a cover of Carry on wayward son in the second act" Marie told them a proud smile on her face, Dean and Jovi both nodded in approval "really?" Sam spoke making the small group look at him "it's a classic" Dean, Jovi and Marie all spoke at the same time glaring at Sam judgementally "anyways, we're here to talk about the disappearance of Mrs. Chandler. Any chance you two saw her before she vanished?" Sam spoke getting the conversation back on track, Marie nodded "um yeah, she left about like, what, 9:30?" The girl spoke looking to her friend for confirmation Maeve nodding

"Any idea where she would be headed that time of night?"

"A bar of a liquor store, or both" Maeve told them with a straight face, Jovi had to hold back a snort. The girl couldn't say she blamed the teacher, having to deal with this in a daily basis would lead her to drown herself in a bottle too "wow, really?" Sam spoke in an intrigued tone "she had a nasty divorce last year. Most of the time she's sipping on her, uh...grown up juice or passed out - usually in that order" Marie told them making this seem like a a regular occurrence for her teacher

"Yeah, well, I don't blame her. I'm gonna need some jello shots and a hose down to get this stink off me" Dean said making Jovi slammed her foot down onto her dads causing him to fight back a yelp, Sam forced out a fake chuckle "Maeve, right? You're the stage manager-"

"And I understudy Jody Mills" Maeve responded Jovi hummed nodding along with Sam meanwhile Dean struggled to keep his mouth shut "what?"

"That's great, Maeve" Jovi spoke over Dean "Jody Mills — that's great" Sam said sending Dean a look before turning back to the girls "so, how about you give me a, uh, behind the scenes tour while your director shows my partner and Jovi Mrs. Chandlers office?"

Marie turned to look at the blonde girl "Jovi? Like Deans daughter?" Jovi cursed her uncle out for throwing her under the bus "uh, same name but dear old dad here is a big Bon Jovi fan...right dad?" She sent him a look putting her hand on his shoulder, Dean turned looking at his grinning daughter putting a fake smile on his face but Jovi could see the distaste in his eyes "yep, huge fan"

"We have a deal" Sam said looking between the girls who nodded "great, give us a moment please"

Dean nodded with a big fake smile "okay" as the girls walked away "I'm gonna throw up" Dean said not quiet enough as Maeve turned around shooting him a look, her eyes narrowed almost daring him to say another word "we need to work on your whispering" Jovi hissed at her dad "I mean, I got to say. Its kinda of charming, the production value and the-" Sam paused when he met deans unimpressed deadpan look "no? N-no. I'm gonna check for EMF, you two look for, uh, cursed objects" Deans glare followed Sam as he walked away "hey! Put the pout away, we got work to do" Jovi said slapping her dad's chest before walking off to find Marie "no" Dean simply replied his childish pout not falling as he followed his daughter.

"Where the hell did you get all this stuff?" Dean asked as he walked behind his daughter who was walking beside Marie who she'd started getting to know - that was the only good thing Dean could see coming from this whole situation, his daughter getting some time to talk to people her own age which wasn't something that happened often "some parts homemade, some parts repurposed" Marie told them as they came to a stop by a table full of homemade weapons - like the real ones they have in the trunk of Baby. Dean reached to pick one up "all of it...awesome" Jovi smiled at her dads amazement but when he picked up the fake shotgun Marie sprung up "don't" Dean cocked the fake gun anyway, Jovi ran a hand down her face in embarrassment as Marie snatched the gun back putting it down carefully "please don't"

"So sorry" Jovi whispered to the other girl who just waved her off as if to say it's okay

"What are they doing?" Dean spoke again pointing to the fake Sam and Dean that were leaned against fake baby and a little too close "oh, uh, they are rehearsing the B. M. scene"

Dean raised a brow "the bowel movement scene?"

"No" Marie spoke as Jovi cut in "it's the boy melodrama scene" Marie pointed to Jovi in a what she said way, Dean looked at his daughter confused "how do you know that?" Jovi just laughed "I'm a teenage girl"

"Well, what is it?"

"You know, the scene where the boys get together and they're — they're driving or leaning against baby, drinking a beer, sharing their feelings. Jovi's usually asleep or off distracting herself which leave the two of them - alone but together" Marie was trailing off into her own little world but her words did get Jovi thinking, did she really sleep that much? She didn't think so but clearly she did otherwise the fans wouldn't have picked up on it, meanwhile Dean was glaring at the two as he listened to the girls words "bonded, united, the power of their pain is —"

"Why are they standing so close together?" Dean questioned which made Jovi laugh using her hand to cover it, Marie looked up at him almost defensively "reasons" Dean stared at Marie as he slowly realised what she meant, Jovi cringed her laughter coming to a sudden stop as she realised the little extra piece of the play "you know they're brothers right?" She asked Marie raising a brow, the raven haired girl turned back to the blonde "well, duh. But...subtext"

"Jesus Christ" Jovi muttered while Dean turned to face the two girls playing himself and Sam "why don't you take a substep back there, ladies?" The girls playing Sam and Dean looked over before putting a good two feet between them which made Dean smile now satisfied. "How come Jovi's not apart of the play?" The teen asked the other genuinely curious, Marie shrugged "Jovi's one of my favourite characters don't get me wrong but this play focused on the Winchesters brotherly love and it won't work the same with Jovi - plus we don't know enough about her background. Like her mother, no one knows who that is - would make a great storyline though"

Dean tensed up while Jovi clutched the necklace around her neck like it was going to give her an additional confidence boost with the mention of her mother. Though, Dean told her what he knew about Jovi's mother the girl still wondered where she actually was and what she was actually doing these days. Did Jennifer Harding ever think of Jovi? Or regret leaving her? Did she have another family? Jovi could only wonder.

Now in Mrs. Chandlers office Dean and Jovi looked around with Marie close behind them, Dean picked up a robot head he'd found after he'd acknowledged the alcohol bottles "this hers?" He asked turning to Marie "no, that's a prop from act 2. I've been looking for that, actually" the girl responded, Jovi thought to herself when did they ever fight robots? Was that an another book Chuck added to the collection? As if he hadn't humiliated them enough!

"There's no space in supernatural" Dean spoke critically, Jovi could've died from embarrassment. Here she was trying to make friends and take a gentler approach meanwhile he went straight for the vexed approach which wasn't making her life any easier "well, not canonically, no. But this is transformative fiction" Marie said shrugging, Dean put the head down looking at Marie "you mean fan fiction?"

Jovi sighed deeply, here we go

"Call it whatever you like, okay. It's inspired by Carver Edlands books with a few embellishments. Well, as you know, Chuck stopped writing after Swan Song. I just..." Marie sighed "I couldn't leave it the way that it was. I mean, Dean not hunting anymore and taking Jovi to live with Lisa, Sam somehow back from hell but not with Dean? So, um, I wrote my own ending"

Jovi didn't need reminding of her time with Lisa, it wasn't that she didn't like  the woman - she did, honestly! But she felt like a replacement for Jo and Jovi wasn't okay with that, not just that but throughout that whole year Dean was distracted and Ben was in the picture too which took up majority of his time...she just remembers feeling left out, like she was second best - that's all

"You wrote your own ending with — spaceships?" Dean questioned once again

"And robots and some ninjas and then Dean becomes a woman..."

Jovi burst out laughing seeing how deans face fell into shock and horror "it's just for a few scenes..." Marie told him, Jovi turned to her dad with a shit eating smirk "yeah, dad, it's just for a few scenes" Dean sent her a look.

Now walking down the school hallway Jovi walked beside Dean "alright, Shakespeare. You know we can tell you what really happened with, uh, Sam, Dean and Jovi. A friend of mine hooked me up with the uh, unpublished unpublished books" Jovi mentally cursed, Dean was totally about to make a fool of himself which was going to bring Jovi down with him "so, Sam came back from hell, but without his soul. Then Cas brought in a bunch of Leviathans from purgatory, uh, they lost Bobby and then Cas, Jovi and Dean got stuck in purgatory, Sam hit a dog, uh, they let a prophet named Kevin-"

"Big fan favourite" Jovi spoke almost sarcastically but truly she loved Kevin like a older brother, she truly wished he hadn't been killed - he deserved better

"They lost him, too. Then Sam underwent a series of trials in an attempt to close the gates of hell which...nearly cost him his life and Dean — well, Dean became a demon - a knight of hell, actually" Dean finished with a almost happy with that fact smile Jovi narrowed her eyes at her dad, speaking as a teenage girl there was no way Marie was gonna by his story it sounded a little too far fetched. Jovi turned to look at Marie with a smirk "oh Jovi, almost died too at the hands of the Deanmon, was pretty brutal too"

Deans face fell slightly recalling his daughter's screams of terror, his whole demeanour changed. He didn't understand how Jovi was saying that with an amused smirk, he didn't find it funny on the slightest - in fact it'd haunt him till the day he died...again

Marie scoffed looking between the two Winchesters as they stopped in the theatre "wow"

"Yep" Jovi spoke with a nod

"That is the some of the worst fan fiction that I have ever heard!" Marie said laughing, Jovi bit the inside of her cheek watching as deans face fell into confusion and he looked like he his ego had been slightly damaged "I mean, seriously, though, no, where'd your friend find this garbage? I-I'm not saying that ours is a masterpiece or anything but geez"

Jovi wanted to say I told you so

"I'll have to send you some fic links later" Marie said but Dean got distracted by the two girls playing Castiel and Dean were holding hands and being very flirty "what are they doing?" Jovi and Marie followed his gaze spotting the two now hugging "um, kids these days call it hugging"

"Is that in the show?" Dean asked in a way that had Jovi silently questioning him "oh no. Siobhan and Kristen are a couple in real life. Although, we do explore the nature
