"IS THERE A NUMBER WE CAN CALL, FOR YOUR PARENTS?" THE DARK HAIRED BOY ASKED, SEVEN SITTING CLOSE TO ELEVEN. The dark haired boy had given Eleven his coat, the other two not giving up their coats and Seven didn't want them, taking the damp towel back. "Where's your hair?" The boy in the cap asked, Seven looking up at him with his eyebrows knotted. "Do you two have cancer? What's the scar?" He continued pointing to where Seven's neck scars were, Seven not answering as Eleven followed his lead. "Did you run away?" The dark skinned boy asked, Eleven's breathing picking up as Seven grabbed her hand, Mike noticing. "Are you in some kind of trouble?" He asked more gently, the dark skinned boy walking forward. "Is that blood?" He reached out, Seven flinching and pulling Eleven back and rubbing her nose, blood getting onto his thumb. "Stop it! You're freaking her out!"
Seven flinched when the dark haired boy slapped his hand, the Dark skinned boy glaring at his friend. "They're both freaking me out!" He retaliated, the boy with the cap smiling. "I bet this one's deaf." He grinned, clapping suddenly in front of Eleven as she flinched, Seven glaring at him and moving forward as the boy in the cap flinched from him slightly. "All right, that's enough, okay? They're just cold and she's scared." The dark haired boy spoke, Seven sitting back slowly. The boy then walked away, going to a basket and getting out some clothes. "These are clean, okay?" He asked gently, holding clothes out to Eleven as she looked to Seven. He just looked back to the boy, him nodding before Seven nodded to Eleven. She stood up slowly, grabbing the clothes before handing them to Seven, him holding onto them as she took the coat off. Seven didn't seem to object when Eleven lifted her shirt up, the three boys yelling.
"No, no!" The dark haired boy stopped her from stripping, Seven standing up quickly and glaring at his hand. Noticing this, the boy took his hand's off of Eleven's shirt, the two other boys looking to each other startled. "The bathroom's over there. Privacy. Get it?" He spoke, Seven looking over at a slightly open door, Eleven doing the same. Everyone watched as she picked up the clothes and walked to the bathroom, Seven following quickly as the boy followed them. Seven observed the place before nodding, Eleven walking in and exploring as the dark haired boy stood awkwardly, holding the door. He began to close it before Eleven panicked, only her inside of the room as she grabbed onto the door quickly. "You don't want it closed?" The boy asked, Seven looking back to her. "No." Was all she spoke, Seven shaking his head to the boy. "Okay, we'll put it like this, okay?" He offered, Seven seeing if he could quickly fit his hand through before Eleven nodded.
"Okay." The boy spoke cautiously, turning to Seven. "Do you want clothes?" He asked, Seven nodding. "Okay, well, I'll grab some-" "This." Seven pointed to his t-shirt, the boy confused. "You want a t-shirt?" Seven shook his head, the boy confused. "This." Seven spoke, pointing to a green action figure on the ground. "Oh, green?" He asked, Seven nodding as the boy nodded along uncomfortably. "Well, you can go find something green in there if you want." He offered, Seven seeing the same basket Eleven got her clothes from. "Okay." He whispered, walking off slowly as the boy took a deep breathe, walking to his friends. "This is mental." The capped boy spoke, the boy shrugging. "At least they can talk." He replied, the dark skinned boy looking to him from staring at Seven. "She said 'no' and he said 'this'. Your three-year-old sister says more." The boy shot back, the capped boy shrugging him off.
"She tried to get naked, like," He did a demonstration that knocked his hat off backwards, his friends ignoring him. "Maybe he'll get naked too, I should tell him-" "There's something seriously wrong with them both." The dark skinned boy interrupted, Seven smiling once he found a green jumper, finding some astray black sweatpants to put on. He made sure the three weren't looking... privacy in their words before quickly changing. "...they escaped form Pennhurst." The dark skinned boy continued, the other boy picking up his hat from another demonstration. "From where?" The other boy asked, the boy sighing. "The nuthouse from Kerley County." He informed, the boy grinning and putting his hat back on. "You got a lot of family there?" He grinned, the dark skinned boy glaring at him. "Bite me," He shot back, the other boy rolling his eyes at his two friends. "Seriously, though, think about it. That would explain their shaved head's and why they're crazy. They're escapees', is the point. They're probably psycho."
Seven listened in confusion, deciding not to interfere as the capped boy did another demonstration. "Like Michael Myers." That boy grinned, the dark skinned boy turning to him. "Exactly! We should've never brought them here." He spoke, relieved that someone agreed with him as Seven kept his eyes on the bathroom door, hearing rustling. "So you just wanted to leave them out in that storm?" The other boy spoke up, Seven looking back to them. "Yes! We went out to find Will, not another problem." Seven eyebrows knotted. Will? Who's Will? "...we should tell your mom." The capped boy sighed, the dark skinned boy nodding to his friend. "I second that." He agreed, the boy shaking his head quickly. "We weren't supposed to be out tonight." He objected, the dark skinned boy shrugging as Seven created a dislike for him already. "So?" He asked, the boy leaning forward. "So if I tell my mom and she tells yours and then your mom will know." He spoke, the capped boy suddenly getting a dreaded look on his face.
"Oh, man." He whimpered, the dark skinned boy sighing. "Our houses become Alcatraz." He commented, the boy nodding. "We'll never find Will. Here's the plan, they both sleep here tonight." He declared, the capped boy turning to him. "You're letting a girl-" "There's a boy too and just listen! In the morning, they both sneak around my house, go to the front door and ring the doorbell. My mom will answer and know exactly what to do. She'll send them back to Pennhurst or wherever they came from. We'll be totally in the clear! Then, we go back out and find Will." He declared, the two packing up as Eleven opened the door, Seven looking to her quickly. "Done?" He whispered, the girl nodding as they both walked up to the dark haired boy, him leading them to a small blanket house. The other two boys watched as he spoke to Eleven, Seven observing the place. They both conversed before Seven looked up to them, the two walking up and away up the stairs.
"I never asked your guys' names." The boy spoke, Seven looking back to him as he gave him a sleeping bag. Seven only ignored him, rubbing the material of the sleeping bag between his finger and thumb. "Is that real?" The boy asked, Seven looking up to see Eleven with her tattoo out, the other boy going out to touch it. Seven slapped his hand away, the boy flinching as Eleven pulled her sleeve back down. "Do you have one too?" He asked, Seven looking to Eleven as she nodded, him rolling his eyes and nodding. "Sorry, I've just never seen a kid with tattoos before." He spoke nervously, turning back to Eleven as he guessed she was nicer. "What does it mean? Eleven?" He asked, Seven looking to the girl as she looked up to him. Knowing it may make his sister happy if he told him, he only nodded to her tattoo. She seemed to take interest in this boy and Seven wanted to make his sister happy. She pointed to herself, the boy looking to her.
"That's your name?" He asked, Eleven nodding as Seven sat down next to her, the boy jumping a bit. "What's your name?" He asked Seven, the boy looking to him before showing his tattoo. "Seven?" He asked, Seven nodding. "My name's Mike. Short for Michael." Mike informed, Seven shrugging it off and getting comfortable. Just because his sister was comfortable around Mike doesn't mean he was too. "Uhm, maybe we can call you 'El.' Short for Eleven." Mike proposed, Seven sitting back up as Eleven nodded, liking the name. "And we could call you..." Mike turned to Seven, Eleven, or El, doing the same. "Sev?" He exclaimed after a while, Seven's face scrunching up. "Sev?" He asked, Mike nodding nervously. "The first three letters of Seven?" He asked, Seven's eyebrows knotting together before he seemed to give up, nodding tiredly. "Okay, 'night El, Sev." Mike got up awkwardly, Eleven watching him leave as Seven, or Sev, laid down quickly.
"'Night Mike." Both boys looked to El as she spoke, Mike nodding with a small smile as he watched Eleven cuddle up to Seven before Seven put the blanket down, covering them both. Mike stared at the fort before walking away, shutting the door and the lights off. "'Night Mike." Seven mocked, Eleven smiling and glaring at her brother playfully. "Powers?" She asked in a whisper, Seven nodding.

"SEV?" MIKE ASKED AWKWARDLY, EL ALREADY SAT UP AND PLAYING WITH SOME SORT OF RADIO. Mike looked to El as her brother snored slightly, in a deep sleep. "Is he your brother?" Mike asked, El nodding with her eyes still on the radio. "You found my supercomm. Pretty cool, huh?" He asked, trying to change the topic as El looked up to it. "I talk to my friends with it. Mostly Lucas, 'cause he lives so close." Mike spoke, El's face scrunching up. "Got your breakfast." Mike held an Eggo waffle in front of El, the girl grabbing it slowly. "I got one for Sev too, but." Mike motioned to him, El smiling at her still sleeping brother. "You can, like, reserve it, I guess." Mike spoke, giving El another waffle. She nodded, taking a bite out of the first one as her eyes widened, loving the taste. "We need to wake him up-" Mike started before El started to eat Sev's waffle.
"Uh," He spoke, El seeing no problem with it as Sev started murmuring as if on que. Mike stayed silent as El woke Sev up fully, the boy rubbing his eyes as he still laid down. "Hey," Mike started awkwardly, Sev looking up at him. He only nodded, laying his head back down. "This is gonna sound weird," Sev looked up again, Mike gulping. "But I just need you both to go up there. Then go to the front door and ring the doorbell," Mike spoke, the twins following his finger to see a small open window. "My Mom will answer and you'll tell her that you're both lost and that you need help," Mike continued, oblivious to Sev's stare. "But, whatever you do, you can't tell her about last night or that you know me." Mike ordered, finally meeting Sev's intense stare as he nodded nervously.
"Understand?" He trembled, both twins giving him the same bored look.
"It's really no big deal." Mike spoke, looking to El with a small smile. "We'll just pretend to meet each other again. And my Mom, she'll know who to call." Both twins looked to each other quickly, turning back to Mike. "No." They chorused, Mike confused as his eyes flickered between them both. "No?" He asked, looking at Sev as he shook his head. "No." El confirmed, Sev nodding to his sister. "No... you don't want my Mom to get help?" Mike asked, El shaking her head. "You're both in trouble, aren't you?" Mike asked, looking to Sev as he sat up next to El. "Who are you guy's in trouble with?" Mike asked nervously, Sev rubbing El's back when he saw tears in her eyes. "Bad." He spoke for her, El nodding. "Bad? Bad people?" He asked Sev, the boy nodding. "They want to hurt you? The bad people?" Sev looked to El, the girl nodding.
El only put a finger gun to the side of her head, then putting it to Sev's and finally putting it to Mike's forehead.
"Understand?"
