HOPPER WOKE SEB UP FIRST, THE BOY CONFUSED AS HOPPER USUALLY WOKE EL UP FIRST. "Come on." The man urged, walking away before Seb could answer. "Wait!" Seb let out, shoving his socks on as Hopper walked towards El's room. He opened her door, Seb walking in first. El heard this, moving in her bed so her back faced her brother and Hopper. Seb sighed, Hopper groaning. "I guess me and sad, depressed Seb are just gonna have to, uh... enjoy our triple-decker Eggo extravaganza. Seb's having it with Eggos because they remind him of you whilst your not there." Hopper sighed, Seb turning to him. "I am?" He whispered, Hopper nodding. "Okay?," Seb whispered before turning to El. "Bye Yoda." He spoke, trying to put a sad voice on before Hoper grabbed the back of his t-shirt, pulling him into the kitchen.
El ended up waking up for the food, Seb having to agree. Because El was here, Seb could have it with pancakes instead. El was here... she just didn't 'fit the aura'. "Good, right?" Hopper asked both El and Seb. "Know the great thing about it? It's only 8,000 calories." Hopper shrugged, Seb not knowing if that was bad or not as he nodded with a puzzled look on his face. Hopper then looked to the TV cord that still led to El's room. "You visited him again last night?" Hopper asked, Seb looking to his sister. He was curious as to why El was so infatuated with Mike. They don't seem like just normal friends. "He says he needs me and Dustin wants to see Seb again." El spoke, Seb's eyebrows raising. He probably missed Dustin the most out of the three, Lucas too stubborn and Mike too into making friends with El- "Want me to go check on them?" Hopper asked, El shaking her head.
"I know that you miss him, all right? You too, Seb. But, it's too dangerous. You guys are the last things he needs right now." Hopper spoke, Seb not so fazed by it. "You guys are gonna see them. Soon." Hopper assured, the sentence passing through Seb's head as fast as you can say 'Seb'. Hopper always said that but that's just another word for 'no'. "And not in that head of yours or hearing it from your sister," Seb looked up to Hopper, swallowing his food. "You're both gonna see them in real life." Hopper spoke with a kind smile, Seb going back to his food. "I feel like I'm making progress with these people." He continued, Seb sighing. "Friends don't lie." El spoke up, Seb looking up at her in confusion. "What?" Hopper asked, equally as confused as Seb was. "You say 'soon' on day 21. You say 'soon' on day 205," Seb was surprised El was counting the days, Seb sensing his sister getting angrier by the second.
"You now say 'soon' on day 326?" El asked, Seb's eyebrows raising. "What is this?," Hopper asked Seb, the boy shrugging. "You're counting the days now like you're some sort of prisoner?" Hopper asked jokingly, El not laughing at all. "When is 'soon'?" El asked, Seb awkwardly finishing the last two pancakes on his plate. "'Soon' is when...it's not dangerous anymore." Hopper shrugged, sorting out his work uniform. "When?" El demanded, Hopper looking to the girl. "I don't know." The man answered with a chuckle, Seb taking a deep breathe. "On day 500? On day 600?" El asked, Hopper facing her. "I don't know-" "Day 700?" El interrupted, Seb flinching. "I don't know." Hopper spoke, El getting very mad. "I need to see him. Tell me!" El yelled whilst banging her fists on the table, Seb not knowing what to do as Hopper leaned forward. "I said I-"
Hopper was cut off when El flicked her head back, the food on the table flying towards Hopper. El stormed away before Seb clicked his fingers, the plates and food not hitting Hopper. The man ignored the boy and walked after El, Seb sat completely still. "Friends don't lie!" El yelled through the door. Hopper just clenched his fists, walking past Seb as he patted his head. "I'll see you when I get back, okay?" He asked through gritted teeth, Seb letting out a small hum as he stared at the wall he usually faced. Hopper sighed at the boy before going to his car.

EL WALKED OUT OF HER BEDROOM TO SEE HER BROTHER ASLEEP ON THE COUCH. A plate and some crumbs lay on his lap, indicating his nap wasn't intentional. El only sighed, taking the plate and putting it in the sink before grabbing a spare pair of shoes and a jacket. El shook Seb awake, the boy shocked before she placed the jacket and shoes on his chest. Seb was confused as El walked off, putting her own jacket and shoes on. "Uhm, we aren't supposed to leave." Seb spoke cautiously, El ignoring him as she opened the curtains. Another one of Hopper's 'don't be stupid' rules. Never open the curtains. That's one rule broken. If El was really going out, of course Seb was going to go with her. Not because he wanted to, but because if he stayed, he'd overthink himself to death. El broke the rest of the rules before opening the door, Seb putting the shoes and jacket on quickly.
El seemed to wait for the boy, him going to her. "You sure?" Seb asked, El nodding. "Sure." She spoke, Seb nodding and taking a deep breathe. The twins walked in silence, stopping before the trip wire and stepping over it. "We're not stupid." El spoke, Seb nodding shakily. He hadn't been out in what El said was 326 days, probably about 200 and something for him as he was taken in a few months later. They walked in silence again before hearing a woman's voice. "It's fun, isn't it?" She asked a small child, her child, as she laughed. Seb watched as the two were by a swing set, the girl getting pushed by her mother. "Pump your feet." The woman advised, laughing more as Seb sighed at them. The child noticed the twins first, walking to them as the mother followed quickly. "Are you two okay-" "School." El seemed to demand, Seb staying quiet as the woman held her daughter's hand.
"The school? It's about a mile that way. At least." The woman spoke slowly, Seb and El looking to where she pointed. "Where are your guy's parents?" She asked, El looking back at her as Seb clicked his fingers behind his back. "Mommy, look!" The little girl urged, the two seeing the swing push itself. The woman was terrified, Seb and El leaving before she turned back around.

"ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DO THIS?" SEB ASKED EL, THE TWO SEEING HAWKINS MIDDLE DOWN THE ROAD. "Yes." El answered, speeding up as Seb gulped, following. The girl recognised Mike's bike straight away, grabbing Seb's hand and literally dragging him though the doors. Seb let himself be dragged before guessing they were going nowhere in particular. "Okay," Seb spoke stopping El as she turned to him quickly. "We'll split up and meet back at the bikes." Seb spoke, El nodding as she only wanted to go and see Mike. Seb nodded to, the twins going their separate ways as Seb moved past a skateboard that rolled past his feet. "Sorry!" A girl spoke, Seb looking up to see a girl dressed in a yellow jacket, tucking some of her red hair behind her ear. She seemed to be in a hurry as she picked up the board, running away again.
Seb just shrugged, walking around in confusion and just deciding to wander around. "Cool." He spoke, observing all of the display boards on the walls. If this was the only time he'd be going out, he may as well make the most of it and explore. Will walked around nervously, not wanting to find the baby Demogorgon anywhere before turning one corner. "You..." He trailed off, Seb turning around quickly. "Oh my God..." Will started to panic, Seb not knowing what to do as he just ran around the other corner, knowing he couldn't be seen by people, those who know him would be even worse. "Hey!" Will spoke, running after Seb before running into Mr Clarke, the man chuckling. "Hey, there, Will!" He exclaimed, picking his brief case back up and nodding to the boy. "Hi..." Will spoke slowly, looking around the man to find Seb. "I sense you're in a hurry, I'll see you first period tomorrow." Mr Clarke spoke kindly, walking past Will to leave himself.
"Hi..." Seb spoke as he leant on the walls catching his breath, seeing his sister glare into some red doors. "What?" He asked, moving to the doors next to his sister. His face then dropped, seeing Mike being circled by the girl Seb ran into earlier. Seb glared at Mike, knowing how much El missed the boy. How could he do that? Seb sensed El's sadness already, it slowly fuelling into anger as she flipped her head back. "El!" Seb scolded as the two watched the girl with Mike fly off of her skateboard, hitting her head. The twins watched as Mike crouched in front of her quickly, worried. "It was just like a force, I don't know." She spoke, Seb panicking as Mike looked to the doors quickly. "Go!" Seb spoke, dragging El after him as they ran, Mike running to the doors after seeing two joined hands speeding away. Seb had just pulled his sister around the corner as Mike opened the doors, scanning the area and seeing no one.
"Sorry." El spoke softly, Seb shrugging. "Let's go back..." He whispered, El nodding sadly as the two walked down the corridor. Seb looked to El, the girl looking down in heartbreak. Seb only gave her a sympathetic look before pushing her head slightly. El looked up surprised before meeting Seb's grin and smiling lightly herself. Seb grunted as she pushed his whole body in response. When Seb regained his footing, he saw El giggle before running to the front doors. "Hey!" Seb spoke, chasing after El as she ran past the bikes and back in the direction of the cabin, Seb following as they laughed.
