AFTER GIVING SEB AN HOUR OR SO TO REGAIN HIMSELF, EL RAN INTO THE ROOM, A FILE IN HAND. "Seb! We have a sister!" She exclaimed, Seb turning to her startled. "What?" He asked, El handing him the file and opening it to a specific page. "There's more people out their like us." She spoke gently, Seb seeing a girl with braids sat with a smile. "And I've just found her! We need to tell Becky." El spoke, Seb nodding as he was still shocked. "Okay?" He spoke, El nodding and grabbing his hand, leading him to where Becky was. "Becky! Becky, I found her." El spoke, Seb guessing that Becky already knew about this. "In here." Seb spoke when they couldn't find Becky, El letting him lead her to the kitchen. "I just didn't know who to call." She spoke into the phone, both twins watching her. "He gave me this number, and he came here looking for them both. I thought maybe he could help me."

El walked forward, Seb following as Becky looked to Terry as he spoke. "Yeah, Jim Hopper came here with some woman named Joyce Byers." Becky continued, Seb glaring at her back. "Well, it's a little hard to explain. Uh... There's another missing girl and I think she's in trouble." Becky spoke, Seb wrapping Hopper's large flannel around himself more. "Come on." Seb spoke bluntly, El watching as he went through her bag. "What?" El asked, Seb finding her purse. "We're leaving." He declared, taking out all the money he could find and leaving Becky's bag spread out on the counter top. El nodded, the two walking away from Becky. "And you are? Florence..." Becky looked to the door when it closed. "I'm gonna have to call you back." She spoke, putting the phone down quickly. "Jane! Jacob!" Becky shouted, Seb nodding to his sister and urging her along the road as Becky's shouted faded.

THE TWO HAD GOTTEN THE BUS, DECIDING TO TRAVEL TO THE GIRL EL HAD FOUND. Seb sat on the outside seat, checking on El every so often, the girl asleep. They soon passed a sign that told them they were in Illinois, Seb sighing as El woke up suddenly, looking at the photos in her hands and closing her eyes. Seb decided not to aid her if whatever happened before happened again, letting El find out where she was herself. The bus stopped on an street, the doors opening as Seb urged El to go, the boy letting her go in front of him. Everyone on the bus walked off, El and Seb being the last. "Woah..." Seb spoke, the twins looking up at the tall, lit up buildings. "Are you sure she's here?" The boy asked, El nodding as she led the way. The twins weaved through multiple people, Seb hugging the large coat over his flannel.

El soon led the boy to an alleyway, Seb gulping as the people inside just stared at them as they passed. This caused El to scramble for her brother's hand, the boy holding it quickly a they walked. "They're dead." A man got in front of the two as he laughed, El gulping as Seb nodded briefly, pulling her away. "They're all dead!" He continued from behind them, causing Seb and El to both start running. "Whoa!" Seb let out when they were a safe distance away, El smiling at him as they walked again. The girl stopped, forcing her brother to do the same as the former looked at a door. "There?" Seb asked, El nodding as they walked to it. People spoke incoherently as Seb opened the door first, El right behind him. The girl closed the door as they walked forward, seeing some people older than them around a metal flaming barrel.

"Uhm," Seb cleared his throat, El staying quiet. "Hello?" He asked, the people turning around quickly. "Well, well..." A man started, a grin on his face. "What do we have here?" He asked as the whole group turned to face them. El and Seb walked forward slowly, as did the group. "What're they wearing?" The man asked, a woman with an afro grinning. "What are those, overalls and flannels?" Seb looked to the overalls that he had given to El from last year, Nancy saying they were hers. "There's no cows to milk here." The woman continued, another girl laughing at them. "Go back to the farm now." She spoke, Seb pulling El closer to him a bit when the man started to circle them. "We're looking for our sister." Seb spoke, scanning over everyone as the man stopped beside them. "Aw... the Shining twins lost their sister. So sad." He spoke, Seb not knowing if that was an insult or not. "I saw her. Here." El spoke up, going into her pocket.

"Uh-Uh. Slowly." An intimidating man ordered, El nodding and pulling out the photo slowly. "Give me that shit." The other man spoke, snatching the photo. His face contorted into one of recognition as the woman stole the photo. "Is that Kali?" She asked, the twins looking to her. "Kali?" Seb asked, the man walking forward. "How did you two find us? Who else knows you're here?" He interrogated, El looking to him. "No one." She answered bluntly, the woman passing the photo around. "So what, then? Poof! You two just show up like magic with that picture?" He asked sarcastically. "Stay calm. They're kids." The woman warned, the man turning to her quickly. "Kids who can get us all killed." He shot back, bringing out a knife and turning back to the twins. "If I have to ask again, creeps, you'll both start losing things. Starting with you-" Seb pulled El back a bit behind him, the man pointing the knife at her.

"Come on, Axe. Put down the knife." The woman spoke again, 'Axe' not listening. "How did you find us?" He asked, El trembling. "I saw her." She answered quickly, 'Axe' tilting his head. "That's not an answer." He spat, Seb moving forward before 'Axe' looked at his hand. Everyone watched as the man started to scream, wiping whatever he had off of him in fear. "Get off, shit!" He spoke, Seb confused as everyone watched. "You're a terrible dancer, Axel." Both twins looked up to the voice too see a girl with purple hair perched on the stairs. "I told you, stay out of my head." Axel shot back, Seb watching as the girl walked down the stairs and up to them. "We're threatening little kids now, are we?" She replied to Axel, the group going to her. "They know about you." He spoke, the girl handing her the picture. "They had this." She informed. Seb and El watched as she observed the picture as the twins walked forward.

"How did you two get this?" She asked, Seb noticing this was their sister. "Mama." El snatched the photo back, putting it in her bag. "Your guy's Mother gave this to you?" The girl asked, Seb nodding. "In her dream circle." He confirmed, El nodding. "Dream circle," Axel scoffed. "I think they're schizo or something." He spoke, the woman with the afro walking forward. "They're looking for their sister." She informed, Axel nodding. "Yeah. Like I said, schizos." He muttered, going to pick up his knife before El shot it to her. "Jesus." The woman commented, Seb smirking and clicking, the group flinching as a red essence sent Axel falling down. Everyone perked up at this, looking with curiosity. "I saw you." El spoke as she closed the pocket knife, Seb nodding along. "In the rainbow room." She continued, the girl circling the twins. "What're your names?" She asked, Seb speaking up. "Jacob. This is Jane." He spoke, El nodding.

Kali took a hold of El's, or Jane's, wrist first, pulling up her sleeve to reveal her tattoo. The girl looked to Seb, the boy nodding and showing her his. She then put her tattoo between their wrists, the three looking o each other. "Sister." El whispered, the girl nodding. "Sister." She confirmed, Seb smiling. "And brother!" He let out, Kali smiling to him as El snickered a bit before they all had a group hug.

"HOW LONG HAVE YOU TWO BEEN WITH THIS POLICEMAN?" KALI ASKED THE TWINS, THE SIBLINGS SAT ALONE ON A ROOF. "Three hundred and twenty seven days." El answered, Seb nodding. "She counted. I was taken in after her so it's not as long for me." He spoke, Kali nodding. "And this policeman, he thinks he can work out some sort of deal with these men to set you free?" Kali asked, Seb shrugging as an answer. "Yes. He says soon." El confirmed, Kali sighing. "He's naïve then. We'll always be monsters to them. Do you understand?" Kali asked, Seb and El nodding. Kali has been on the run for longer so Seb made sure to listen to her as did El. "Let me guess. Your policeman, he also stops you from using your gifts?" Kali asked, looking to Seb. "Yes..." He spoke, Kali turning back to El. "What you two can do is incredible. It makes you both very special." Kali complimented, El confused.

"Wait. Do you have a gift?" She asked, Seb sitting up intrigued. "Different. I can make people see or not see, whatever I choose." Kali informed, Seb's eyebrows raising. "Is that why you made the man with the crazy hair dance?" She asked, Kali smiling. "Axel is not fond of spiders, so..." Kali trailed off, Seb smiling. "You made him see spiders?" He finished, Kali nodding as El grinned. "It doesn't have to be scary." Kali spoke, opening her palm as Seb saw nothing there. He watched confused as El sat mesmerised, following something that Seb couldn't see. "This butterfly. It isn't real. I've just convinced Jane's mind it is." Kali spoke, Seb smiling as he watched his sister reach out for the butterfly before Kali did, the insect disappearing. "Are you real?" El spoke, her brother perking up. "Yeah, you might be using your powers." He added, Kali laughing a bit. "Yes," Kali spoke, El poking her face as Seb poked her arm. "I'm real." Kali confirmed, Seb nodding as the three laughed.

KALI GRABBED EL'S SHOULDER, THE GIRL JOLTING AWAKE AS SEB STAYED ASLEEP. "It's okay. It's only me." Kali assured, El sitting up. "Only me and him if he wakes up." Kali spoke, the two looking to Seb as he slept soundly. El smiled at her brother, shaking his shoulder lightly. "He's a deep sleeper." Kali spoke, El shaking her brother rougher now as he jolted up. "Ah!" He spoke, startled by Kali in front of him. "It's time for your two to meet my friends. Properly this time." Kali informed, walking downstairs as Seb and El followed. "We need more money, Kal. I can't keep eating this garbage." The crazy haired man whined, Kali ignoring him. "This is Axel." She introduced, Seb nudging El's shoulder. "The spider hater." He added on, El smiling as Kali nodded. " Yes, the spider hater." She confirmed, the three finding themselves in front of a girl who had coloured hair and a big bow.

"This is Dottie, our newest. Like you two, she just left home." Kali introduced, Dottie waving at them as Seb happily did the same. "You mean the loony bin." Axel tried to correct, the three ignoring him as they turned to the guy that Seb was intimidated by last night. "Mick, our eyes, our protector." Kali introduced a woman before turning to the man. "This is Funshine, our warrior." She informed, Seb nodding shyly. "Don't let his size frighten you. Fun's a teddy bear." Kali patted Seb's shoulder, him nodding as he walked up to Funshine. The man sensed his nervousness, smiling kindly. "Nice to meet you, Sir Jacob, Miss Jane." He spoke, Seb smiling a bit. "Nice to meet you, Sir Fun." He spoke, Funshine laughing. El walked forward, ready to shake the man's hand but then turned it around. "If you're looking for a number, you won't find one. They're not like us." Kali spoke as she went to sit down.

"Not in that way. They're outcasts." Kali continued, El confused. "Outcasts?" She asked, Axel speaking up. "Freaks." He answered, Dottie grinning. "Speak for yourself." She spoke, Axel glaring at her. "Society left them behind, hurt them, discarded them." Kali informed, Funshine looking up. "We were dead, all of us." He spoke, El and Seb looking to him. "Kali saved us. Here," Funshine pointed to his head. "And here." The man then pointed to his heart, Kali turning to him. "Don't get all mushy on us now, Fun." Kali spoke, Funshine looking to the woman. "No, not mushy. True." He corrected, Seb smiling as Mick spoke up. "Now we help them." She spoke, Axel taking a sip of his drink. "In this life, you roll over or you fight back." Axel informed, Mick nodding. "We're all fighters here." She added on, Seb and El confused.

"Fight who?"
