AFTER LEARNING THAT THIS GROUP HUNTS AND KILLS THE BAD MEN THAT WORKED AT THE LAB, KALI HAD TRIED TO PERSUADE SEB AND EL THAT THEY SHOULD JOIN. Kali led the two outside, Seb squinting at the sudden light. "I was just like you two once. I kept my anger inside and I tried to hide form it. But then, the pain festered." Kali informed, El turning to her. "Festered?" She asked, Kali stopping. "It spread. Until finally I confronted my pain, and I began to heal." Kali spoke before walking off again and leading them to another place. "See those two trains?" She asked, the twins nodding. "Yes." El answered, Kali turning to the girl. "I want you to draw one each to us." Kali ordered, El nodding and concentrating. Seb heard the train creak as his eyes went red, his hands glowing. He clicked, a hundred tendrils connecting to the wheels as Kali looked to him in amazement.

He then began pulling as El began straining already. The girl was already out of breath as Seb's tendrils started to snap, the boy straining as he attached more. Kali patted his back in support, the rest of the tendrils snapping slowly. Seb heard Kali give El a pep talk as he was reconnecting tendrils every second. El looked in slight amazement as Seb's train was quite far ahead of hers. The girls watched Seb before he ran out of energy quickly, El trying again before Kali stopped them. "Why don't you two have a race?" She offered, Seb and El turning to each other. "Race?" El asked, Seb nodding as he reached to wipe the blood from El's nose. "Race." He confirmed, the girl smiling. "Three, two, one!" Kali spoke, El really trying as the group stood at the side, watching. "What the fuck?" Axel asked, him and Dottie watching Seb's tendrils connect to the train and pull it.

"Go on!" Funshine yelled as a cheer, El smiling as she started it pull her train faster than Seb. "Oi!" The boy grinned, feeling another drop of blood drip down his other nostril. "Yes, Jane." Kali spoke, Seb turning to her offended as he held on to his tendrils. "That's so unfair." He spoke breathlessly, Kali moving his head for him to focus. "You'll win if you look." She smirked, Seb scoffing and connecting more tendrils. "Jane's gonna win!" Funshine spoke, Seb ignoring them as he pulled harder, the group startled when his train jolted forward. "And..." Kali started, moving to the side so she can see who wins. Both twins gave one final push before El fell down, exhausted. "Jane wins!" Kali spoke, the group moving to El and congratulating her. Seb stood breathless, catching it quickly and smiling. The group awed when El jumped onto Seb, hugging him tightly. The boy laughed, hugging her back just as tight.

"DO EITHER OF YOU KNOW ANY OF THESE MEN?" KALI ASKED AS THE GROUP STOOD AROUND A TABLE THAT WAS COVERED IN LAB MEN'S ID'S. El scanned over it, Seb holding the tissue that Funshine gave him to his nose. "Him." She spoke, Seb looking to see a very particular man. It was the man that Dr Brenner told Seb to kill one day at the lab. El took the article off of the wall, glaring at the picture of him. "Papa told me to kill him one day." He spoke, the group turning to him. "Did you?" Kali asked quickly, Seb shaking his head to the woman. "No." He answered, El turning to them. "He hurt Mama." El informed, Seb's eye's widening. "Well, I'll kill him now." He spoke, the group smiling lightly. "His name is Ray Caroll. And he did more than hurt your Mother. The bad men like Ray, they know about us. It's made them hard to track. But maybe not anymore." Kali spoke, looking to El as did Seb.

KALI INTENDED TO PROVIDE A MEMORABLE FIRST DAY, GIVING THE TWINS A MAKEOVER EACH. "What do you fancy, kid?" Axel spoke while they were in his room, Seb scanning over all the possible options. "This one?" He asked, Funshine walking in to see Axel holding up a chain necklace and blue tshirt. "Nah, Axel. This." Funshine spoke, leading Seb to a jacket. Seb liked it immediately as he observed the black leather on it. It was quite long, probably going to his mid-thigh. "I forgot about that," Axel started, Seb smiling to him. "It's yours." Axel grinned, Funshine off to find an outfit that matched. "Are you guys done?" Mick called up the stairs, Funshine replying. "Not yet!" He called back, the man obviously having too much fun with this. "How do you feel about turtlenecks?" Axel asked, Seb looking up at him confused. "Turtlenecks?" He asked, Axel nodding.

"They're shirts that cover your neck. Not that I'm saying you need it-" "Yes." Seb answered, looking at his neck scars through Axel's mirror. "Fun! Grab a turtleneck!" Axel yelled, Fun shine yelling in agreement. "We need to do something with this." Axel ruffled Seb's hair, the boy's face dropping. "But didn't Kali tell you not to-" "That's because she thinks my hair is weird and she's scared I'll 'ruin yours like I ruined mine.'" Axel interrupted, Funshine appearing at the door. Seb had no time to reply as Funshine played the clothes on Axel's bed, the man sitting Seb down ahead of his hair station. "You need to look badass. This is one way for me to prove I'm cool." Axel spoke, leaning on Seb's shoulder. "Okay." He spoke, not knowing how to reply as Axel and Funshine conversed about the outfit. "Hey, kid. You want these?" Axel spoke, Seb turning to see a black turtleneck with blue jeans and a white oversized button up shirt that was as long as his jacket.

"Yes." He answered, Funshine holding up black boots that had neon yellow accents and some long white socks to go over his jeans. "Sure." He answered again, Funshine too excited as Axel nodded, redirecting Seb's head to his hair station and placing the necklace on his lap.

"Now for the hair..."

"YOU LOOK GOOD." SEB SPOKE AS THE TWINS WAITED FOR THE GROUP TO SORT OUT THE VAN. Seb's sister wore a large black blazer jacket with a black t-shirt and blue jeans. She had some black eyeshadow on and her hair was slicked back, coincidentally so was Seb's. Kali finished her outfit with white converse and fingerless gloves, even painting her nails. "Pretty?" El asked, Seb nodding as Kali urged them to the van. "Pretty." He confirmed, El smiling at her brother as the van drove away. The van had become some sort of party bus after a while. Music blaring as Axel and Dottie danced crazily. Seb only smiled at them, Kali eyeing him up and down. "I'm quite surprised Axel!" She spoke over the music, the man turning to her. "He actually looks cool." She spoke, Axel nodding. "Of course he does!" Was all Axel replied, the boy laughing a bit as El stuck to his side. Soon, the two twins loosened up, dancing with he group and trying on masks.

El chose the baby one as Funshine chose a Joker mask out, Seb liking the deep green hair already. The man seemed way more excited than anyone else to introduce the two. Seb, especially. This caused the boy to move to sit next to him for the rest of the trip. Mick soon had to stop for gas, everyone leaving their masks behind and getting out at the gas station. El stood by Seb again, the two wearing wide grins as they walked into the store with the group. "Hey, your bathroom is leaking." Kali told the store keeper, him confused before looking to his bathroom. Funshine wrapped an arm around Seb's shoulder as they all watched the man wail in shock and run over to nothing. "Okay, contestants, you have a minute and a half, let's begin your supermarket sweep!" Axel spoke, Seb smiling before the group separated, getting whatever they needed or wanted.

Seb watched as El went for the Eggos, Dottie pulling him to a sunglasses stand. "Which ones?" She asked, trying on two pairs. Seb chose the second one mindlessly, Dottie smiling. "You get these ones!" She spoke, getting out a pair of black tinted sunglasses and putting them on Seb. "Thank you." He spoke, Dottie smiling as she watched the boy get some food. "Hey! Put that back or I'll blow your head off!" The man yelled, Seb feeling something cold on the nape of his neck. Everyone fell deadly silent as El's eyes widened, Axel quickly pretending like he wasn't stealing money from the register. "Put the gun down." Kali spoke calmly as she surrendered, Seb staying dead still. "Stay back." He warned, Kali moving forward. "Your money is insured, Darrel. We're stealing from war criminals who own this place." Kali spoke, the man's breathing quickening as Seb made eye contact with El. El looked petrified, probably more scared than Seb right now.

"You won't lose a dimer-" "Stay back. Or I shoot your little buddy." The man spoke, Seb flinching as the man wrapped an arm around the boy's neck, pushing the gun into his nape more. "We're on the same side. I promise." Kali spoke calmly again, the man not backing down as El creeped forward. "Stay back." He spoke, Seb starting to panic as they didn't seem to be getting anywhere with this. That was until El stepped in front of them, her hand out as she shot them back. "Holy moly!" Dottie let out when the man was flung back with Seb, the man still holding him as a gunshot rang out. El rushed to her brother as the man was knocked out, hitting the back of his head on the wall. "Jacob!" Kali yelled, rushing towards them as did the group. "I'm okay..." Seb let out breathlessly, Axel seeing a gunshot hole in the roof of the store. "Thank God." Kali let out, El helping Seb up.

"We gotta go!" Funshine spoke when police sirens rung out, El staying with Seb as they ran back to the van. "At least you still have your glasses." Dottie spoke to the boy, him nodding shakily. He was just held at gunpoint.

That was horrifying.

It looked so much better on the TV.

IT WAS NIGHT WHEN THEY ARRIVED, FUNSHINE TAPPING SEB'S HEAD AS HE WOKE UP. The boy had fallen asleep on Funshine's shoulder, the two already becoming best friends. "All right, we should case the place, stick to the routine. We have time." Mick spoke, Kali turning to the woman. "We also have her. Can you look?" She asked El, the girl nodding and looking into Ray's house from her seat. Everyone watched in silence before El opened her eyes again, nodding to Kali. "He's watching television." She informed, Axel smirking to Mick. "Is he alone?" Mick asked, El turning to her. "I saw him. No one else." She answered, Seb stretching from his nap. "Good enough for me." Kali spoke, Dottie nodding as she got out. "Me too." She grinned, everyone putting their masks on and going out of the van. Mick stayed in the van, keeping it running as the group walked to the man's home. They crept up the stairs of his home, haven gotten his door open.

"Hello, Ray." Kali spoke as Ray tried to fix the TV Seb shut off as a distraction. The man looked up quickly, afraid when he saw six masked people in his Living room. "Jesus Christ!" The man exclaimed, about to run off before Funshine showed up ahead of him. "Sit down. Please." He spat, the man intimidated as he sat down shakily. "Take what you want." Ray stammered, Axel leaning forward. "Oh, we will." He spoke, Dottie leaning forward too. "Where's your wallet?" She asked, Ray gulping. "Bedroom. In my jeans." He spoke, Dottie smiling under her mask. "Come on." She spoke, dragging Axel away as Funshine guarded the door. Kali and the twins stood ahead of Ray, the man shaking in fear. Kali then took her mask off, El doing the same as Seb was the last. "Do you remember us?" Kali asked, the three glaring at Ray as he shook his head quickly.

The lights then started to flicker rapidly, Ray jumping when the three became small children. Kali and El wore black dresses over white shirts as Seb wore a white t-shirt and black pants. "What about us? Do you remember us, Ray?" Kali asked again, Ray recognising them before the lights flickered again. The three came back to normal, Kali punching Ray in the face as Seb and El watched. "Please." Ray spoke, Seb remembering the whimpering that he did when he was ordered to kill him. "You hurt Mama." El spat down at the man, letting her hand out and pushing Ray to the wall. The twins then stalked up to the man, Seb connecting tendrils to the man to hold him down. "Wait." Ray groaned, looking towards Seb as he glared at the man. "Please. Listen." He spoke shakily, Kali coming up to the three. "I just did what he told me to do." Ray spoke, blood at the side of his head.

"He said she was sick." Ray spoke desperately, Seb letting out a deep breathe as Kali shook her head. "You had a choice, Ray. And you chose to follow a man you knew was evil." She spoke, Seb about to connect tendrils to the man's neck and choke him out. "I can help! I can help you find him!" Ray spoke, the red tendrils stopping ahead on his face as Seb stopped. "Find who?" Kali asked, Ray turning to her once the tendrils disappeared. "Brenner! I can take you to him." Ray spoke, thinking he was getting somewhere. "Papa is gone." El spoke as Ray shook his head. "No, he is alive." Ray spoke, Seb's face dropping as Kali stepped forward.

"Do not lie to us, Ray."
