"Girl shut uppp" I shush Destiny as she snickers in the corner of my bathroom. Jah had just gotten off the phone with her, not knowing that she's with me.

I hadn't been ignoring him, but we weren't talking as much. He's hanging around Hammer again and I'm overwhelmed with school.

Nile is sick, and most of my time had been spent on him lately.

Jah gets here a half hour later, right behind Destiny's uber.

I was playing with Nile when he opened the door. "Hey" I mumble and catch Nile as he was about to fall over. "Hey. C'mere gimme a kiss real quick" he sits on the couch and opens his arms to me.

I stand over him and peck his lips, turning around to go back and sit on the floor, where Nile is. Jah grabs the back of my neck and place me onto his lap.

"Jesus" I mumble and he laughs. "C'mon now gimme a real kiss. I missed you" he says, holding my hips in his hands.

"I missed you too, Jah. Where you been?" I ask and he rubs the back of his neck. "Shii. Chillin. I been outside" he shrugs and opens my legs so I'm straddling him.

"Mhm. Outside doing what" I ask another question. "Y'know. Outside with Hammer n' nem. Das gang" he pulls my face towards his but I pull it from his hand.

"Jah..." I start but he interrupts me. "On dead dawgs Sapph, Ian doing nothing" he says and pulls my face towards his again.

We pull away when Nile starts crying. "What's wrong with my son" Jah asks, letting me off of his lap. "He don't wanna crawl" I say and sit him up.

"Damn. He supposed to be crawling by now tho" he shakes his head and I shrug. "He's sick. Maybe that's why" I say.

Nile wipes the tears from his eyes but still has a frown on his face. "You sleepy Nile?" I ask, picking him up. "Lemme put him to sleep, then we can talk" I say and he reaches out for him.

"I can take him. This my son forreal" I hand him Nile and he walks upstairs and into Nile's room.

"Aye, Sapphire. Come up hea come lay down" Jah yells from upstairs. I walk into my room and see him already shirtless, under the covers.

"Nigga you is getting to comfortable. All up under my sheets n shit" I grumble, getting into the bed with him. "Mhm. But you still all up on me" he smiles and pulls me closer towards him.

I scoot back a little, laughing. "You invading my personal space" I humor and he pulls me again, more forcefully.

"Stop playin wimme, Sapphire" he rasps. "I'm not playing with you Jahbari. You really are all in my personal spaceee" I laugh and he laughs back.

"C'mere" he opens his arms and I lay in them. "I luh you lil ass girl" he kisses my cheek and I smile. "I love you too Jah. Are you feeling better?" I ask and he shrugs.

Jah was still really sad about Skylar and Lamia killing our child. I was too. It was taking a toll on both of us.

"Lemme put some babies in you" he gets on top of me and puts his bottom lip into his mouth. "Nigga you is a trip" I shake my head, looking away from him.

"I'm not playin witchu no mo' lil girl" he turns my head back towards his and and move around uncomfortably.

"Ain't nobody want no babies at sixteen, Jah" I laugh and throw him off of me. "I do" "But you didn't before. I don't want to bring a child into this world just because we miss what it could've been" I shrug and he sighs, laying back on the bed.

"Are you mad?" I say after a couple minutes of silence. "Naw. I just forreal want some kids, bae" he covers his eyes with his hand, tucking his hand into my pants.

"Chill out, Jah" I say shakily, moving closer towards him. I lay on his chest and he puts his hand further into my pants.

"You like when I touch you here?" he asks, pulling my sweatpants down. "Mhmmm" I shut my eyes tightly.

"You feeling ight?" he asks and I look back at him. "Yeah, why?" I furrow my eyebrows at him and he laughs. "Cause I was in that shit" he bucks his hips once and I slap his arm.

"You are so annoying Jah" I roll my eyes and Nile laughs. "Please don't laugh at him he gon think he funny" I say to Nile and my phone starts ringing.

"Why he calling yo phone" Jah asks, pulling me to fully sit on his lap. "He's my friend, duh" I roll my eyes and he wraps his hand around my neck.

"You needa chill out onnis attitude shit before I show you who run shit 'round hea" he says and takes my phone, answering the call.

"Whatchu calling my girl phone for?" he asks when the call connects. "I was tryna call you but yo bitch ass don't know how to answer" he shakes his head.

"I was... doing sum. Whatchu need" he asks. "Nigga named Shawn at the crib. Say he yo cousin n needa talk to you" Kooda says. "Aight. I'm on the way" he hangs up and gives my phone back to me.

"Can you let go of me now?" I ask because his hand was still tightly wrapped around my neck. "Mhm. Gimme a kiss first" he says pulling me by my neck towards his face.

"No you're mean" I seal my lips and he straight faces me. "Gimme a kiss lil girl. Stop playing wimme" he rolls his eyes and forces my lips apart.

"Agh! Get away" I try to run off but he's now holding my hips in place, as well as my neck. I turn my head but he follows me and gives me a kiss.

"Let's go. Get Nile inna car seat c'mon" he says and lets go of me.

Twenty minutes later, we pull up to the Micheals' house. "When you buying me a car baby" I smile and put my arm on his shoulder.

"Mm. Now you wanna sweet talk me cause you want a car. What type" he rolls his eyes, parking in the garage. "A Lexusss. Pleaseeee" I smile wider and he laughs.

"Ight baby we'll get you a Lexus" he kisses my forehead and gets out of the car, grabbing Nile's car seat before going inside the house.

I follow behind him with a smile on my face. "Ayeeee nigga wusgood" Shawn was sitting on the couch and Jah went up to him, dapping him up.

I vaguely remember him from our New York trip. "Wassup lil mama?" he asks, opening his arms. I give him a side hug and stand next to Jah.

"Aight whatchu on blood" Jah asks. "Shittt. Ian een gon do this stallin shit. Ya momma in my city right na" he shrugs and Jah's eyebrows raise.
