It's been a few weeks since Rika took over college, the rumors however haven't died down one bit. New rumors started circulating, it was honestly so annoying.

You dreaded walking alone anywhere, random people had the audacity to come up to you and ask if they were true or how could you do that. It took everything in you not to kill Rika yourself.

It was already June, summer on the horizon, you felt yourself grow disappointed at your lack of plans for the upcoming summer.

To cheer you up about the whole Rika and Rumors situation, your friends; Gojo, Nobara, Yuji, Megumi, decided to take you out for the evening. Just a calm evening with the five of you. Yuta sadly couldn't make it so it was just the five of you. However you weren't upset about it, you wanted to spend more time with your friends as well.

"Oi, (Y/N) should i buy this?" Nobara asks, seeing as she didn't get a response from you, she turned her head to look at you staring solemnly at the sunset.

Deep in thought, a new characteristic of yours. You always seemed to be more in your head then in the present, like a empty shell.

She sighs, "(Y/N)!" Yelling your name now got your attention fully on Nobara as you looked at her with a startled expression, "what?! Stop yelling so much you scared me." You scold, crossing your arms as you walked closer towards Nobara not even noticing when you got lost in your thoughts.

"You seem so distracted lately are you sure you're okay?" Yuji chipped in, his eyes holding a gleam of sadness.

You smiled sadly at the pink haired boy, "i'm okay don't worry." You brush it off, now catching up with Gojo who waited for the four of you in front of the karaoke place that they rented out just for you all.

Gojo dragged the four of you in the vip section of the karaoke place, he opened the door and his skin now was decorated with blue lighting, you stifled a laugh your mind flashing to Papa Smurf, matching Gojo's looks. It didn't help that Gojo decided to wear red sweatpants.

You moved closer towards Yuji and whispered in his ear, "Gojo looks like Papa Smurf."

Yuji's eyes light up and he bursts out laughing, immediately agreeing with what you said, in his own mind he was comparing Gojo to Papa Smurf.

The both of you continued to laugh, holding your stomach's in pain as the laughter felt none ending.

Megumi, Nobara and Gojo however payed no mind to the two of you, trying to figure out how to work the machines.

After a few minutes of struggling and no success Gojo finally gave in and called help from a nearby worker, who gladly helped him, slipping a piece of paper to the white haired after helping him.

Gojo was flattered and waved him goodbye, his ego already beginning to grow.

"Okay first song, grind with me!" He says with a cheeky laugh as he began playing the song.

He turned to the four of you who shared an amused look, even Megumi was smiling a little at Gojo's first choice of song.

"Baby grind with meee~" He sang, being way offbeat you and Yuji shared a look and both burst out in laughter however Gojo was feeling the song too much he hadn't even noticed that the two of you joined him in his singing.

"Relax your mind, take your time with mee~" You Yuji and Gojo sang at the same time, horribly harmonizing with eachother, Megumi put his hands to his ears not wanting to hear any of this anymore.

Nobara was sitting on the couch recording the three of you sing and dance to the stupid song Gojo played.

The song then came to an end and Gojo bowed down, "thank you thank you, i know my singing was amazing."

"Yeah you wish," You chuckled, slapping the back of Gojo's head playfully, "i carried." You proclaimed with a smirk, bowing down just as Gojo did.

Yuji gasps and butts your head with his, "Nuh uh! I was the better singer! You didn't even know half the lyrics!" He argued, rubbing his head in slight pain regretting his decision of head butting you.

"What? No way! You sounded like a dying goat." You rub your head as well, playfully glaring at Yuji.

Yuji gasps, "take that back!" He yells, "i did not sound like a dying goat!"

"Yeah you did!" You argued back, your head turned to face Nobara and Megumi, "hey guys who do you think sang better me Gojo or Yuji?" You ask for their opinion, Nobara scrunched her face.

"To be honest? None of you." She answers truthfully, your heart breaking into small pieces, "Nobaraaa you were supposed to be on my side!"

"Sorry (Y/N) gotta keep it real." She frowns.

"How could you! I sounded amazing' Beyoncรฉ could never." Gojo said.

"Megumi?" You turn to face the black haired boy, with pleading eyes. Yuji doing the same. Megumi looked away embarrassed, "neither of you, my ears started bleeding." He answers, you and Yuji sulk at their answers.

"Hey how about you try singing!" Gojo crosses his arms.

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"Megumi pleaseee!" Gojo pleaded, giving his best puppy dog eyes.

Megumi had a blank look on his face before sighing, "fine." He nonchalantly says, getting up from his seat and putting his choice of music on.

The opening began, Megumi awkwardly clutched the microphone in his hands. "When you're on a holiday you can't find the words to say." He began singing, and of course it was something by Weezer.

His voice was incredible, you honestly didn't expect Megumi to actually sound good while singing.

The four of you were staring astounded by his singing, finding no words to express how good he sounded.

The song came to an end and Megumi actually seemed to be into it while he sang the ending chorus to the song, he placed the microphone down on the table and turned to look at the four of you.

"What?" He asks, raising his brows. Confused on why you guys looked like you just saw Frank Ocean himself sing.

"What the fuck do you mean what? We never knew you could sing?" Nobara says completely taken back.

Megumi awkwardly scratched his cheek, "didn't know it was a big deal. . ."

"Big deal? Of course it's a big deal! We're going to become rich off of you!" Gojo yelled with excitement, shaking the boy.

You looked towards Gojo with an offended look, "that's rich coming from the billionaire himself." You rolled your eyes, Gojo gasping at your words.

"Enough, were not gonna become the next one direction sit down." Megumi said, taking a sip of his drink, his throat hurting slightly from having to sing.

"Aw man why not?" Yuji asks with a sad expression.

"Uhhh because we all suck at singing expect Megumi?" Nobara stated, crossing her arms as if it was common sense.

"Hey, speaking of one direction who was your guys' favorite?" Gojo asks, plopping himself on the couch as a random song played on the speaker.

"Niall, i loved Niall i was so convinced i was going to grow up and marry him." Nobara was the first to answer, her cheeks spreading a hue of pink as she thought about her first love as a girl.

"Niall was really cool! But i love Liam, he was always the coolest in my eyes." Yuji gives his response a sad gleam in his eyes.

"Rest in peace Liam i love you. . ." Yuji muttered underneath his breath.

"I liked Louis." Megumi gives a short response, a bit embarrassed to admit that he also was a fan of one direction.

Gojo chuckled a bit, knowing he was there for Megumi's one direction phase. Hell he was the one who put him onto one direction.

"Harry styles and Niall are my favorites, something about them just do it for me, but i love all of them." Gojo explains, smiling softly as if he was thinking of something of the past.

"One word, Zayn." You say, a smirk on your face Nobara nodding in a understanding way.

"You get it." She whispers, you chuckle in response and get up from the couch.

"Since we talked about one direction let's sing one of their songs!" You exclaim, quickly putting on the first song that showed up.

"Goin out tonight, changes into somethin' red," You and Yuji began singing, The both of you sounding horrendous, but it didn't matter.

"Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress Everything she never had, she's showin' off," You and Yuji continue singing, beginning to dance around eachother with grins on your faces.

Soon came Gojo's turn to sing, "We're only getting older baby~ And ive been thinking about it lately does it ever drive you crazy? Just how fast the night changes!" He practically yells the lyrics, clearly feeling the song in his chest, "Everything that you've ever dreamed of. Disappearin' when you wake up. But there's nothin' to be afraid of Even when the night changes. It will never change me and you." He dragged the last lyric, falling on his knees dramatically.

Nobara and Megumi shared a knowing look as the next part came up, they both held on to one microphone, " Chasin' her tonight, doubts are runnin' round her head. He's waitin', hides behind a cigarette." They both walk away from eachother, Megumi getting his own microphone now. "Heart is beatin' loud and she doesn't want it to stop
Movin' too fast, moon is lightin' up her skin
She's fallin' doesn't even know it yet
Havin' no regrets is all that she really wants." He and Nobara sing their hearts out, clearly feeling the song deep in their chest, as they smile at eachother. Nobara surprisingly didn't sound as bad as the rest of you, her voice mixing with Megumi's quite well.

The five of you all began singing the next part, your voices colliding with eachother in a deafening sound, Megumi's voice being the one who carried, "We're only gettin' older, baby. And I've been thinkin' about it lately. Does it ever drive you crazy. Just how fast the night changes?" You held onto Nobara as you sang the lyrics, your smiles widened when you noticed Megumi and Yuji dramatically dancing, " Everything that you've ever dreamed of
Disappearin' when you wake up. But there's nothin' to be afraid of Even when the night changes It will never change me and you."

They all stopped singing, you all coming into a agreement to let eachother do their favorite band members, now it was your turn.

You felt your heart beat faster, a rush of anxiety and excitement pulsing your veins as you began singing, "Goin' out tonight, changes into somethin' red.

Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress. Reminds her of the missin' piece of innocence she lost." You felt yourself relate to those lyrics in that moment, everything was changing at a rapid pace.

Now the five of you began singing again, with wide grins on your faces, singing together felt like you were kids once again, " We're only gettin' older, baby
And I've been thinkin' about it lately. Does it ever drive you crazy. Just how fast the night changes?" The door to the karaoke room opened, gathering your attention, but still you kept singing,"Everything that you've ever dreamed of. Disappearin' when you wake up." Your brows knit together as a familiar figure walked in the room, a awkward smile on his face. "But there's nothin' to be afraid of. Even when the night changes. It will never change, baby. It will never change, baby" You locked eyes with him, singing the last part while maintaining eye contact."
It will never change me and you."

The five of you were now heavy breathing, the singing taking a toll on you, "Yuta. . . You made it." You softly smiled, your heart already beginning to stammer in your chest as the boy walked closer to you.

"I wanted to be here. To be there for you." He admits, his cheeks reddening at what he said.

"Thank you." You say, appreciating his words, still out of breath from your singing session, You placed the microphone on his chest and with a teasing grin you say, "tag you're it, give us a show."

Yuta stands there awkwardly, his cheeks deepening with the color red, he hated publicly singing. Especially in front of people but he'll do it. Just to make you happy.

He quickly played a song that he liked, teen romance by Lil Peep blasted through the speakers, you sitting comfortably on the couch sipping on water as you watched Yuta with a curious gaze.

He looked so shy and unsure of himself but Gojo encouraged him and he quickly came out of his shell, singing along to the lyrics more freely and happily.

He didn't look anywhere else but you.

His gaze reminded solely on you as he sang the lyrics softly, his voice was simply angelic. It was like he was good at everything. Literally everything. There was nothing bad you could say about him, he was simply flawless.

His personality, his smile, his eyes, his mannerisms, his everything.

The way he looked at you just now, it felt more intimate.

The countless moments of laughter you shared, the warmth he radiated when he smiled so intimately at you, and that spark that ignited in your heart when you noticed him staringโ€”it was all undeniable. As Yuta sang the lyrics to his song softly, his smile never faltering, you realized the truth: you had fallen in love with him. You had fallen for the boy you once thought wrong about.

And it scared you.

You got up from your seat, abruptly startling the boy who was basically singing only forโ€” you.

"I need some fresh air." You say, quickly rushing to leave the room, leaving behind a confused Yuta who stopped singing, sharing a brief look of confusion with the others who simply shrugged.

The soft breeze of June welcomed you when you opened the door to exit the karaoke place, you took in a deep breath. Mentally cursing yourself for even falling for him.

He was too good for you.

He had a bright future ahead of him and you didn't want to drag him down.

You sat down on a bench after walking a few meters away from the karaoke place, your eyes glossy with tears.

Why the fuck were you crying over this?

The rush of emotions inside of you that caused a cyclone to whirlwind inside of you.

You felt so stupid, you had no clue how this went over your head.

How stupid were you to not realize your own feelings for someone you considered a close friend.

Why did it take you so long to realize that you fell for him?

You let out a groan of frustration, running a hand through your already messy hair.

"Mind if i sit here miss?" A unknown voice asks, you looked up to notice a old lady standing in front of you a sweet smile on her face.

"Oh? Yeah sure." You reply, a forced smile appearing on your face as you tried to seem kind.

She smiled and took her seat next to you, watching you with a curious gaze.

"Are you okay miss?" Her sweet voice asks, grabbing your attention from your inner war.

"Yeah. . . Just found something out that might actually cause me to kill myself." You spoke, not even realizing what you said to the old lady.

She simply chuckled, "ah, is this about a boy? or a girl? No judgement here i was also a young adult like you."

You now turned your head to look at her, "yeah. . . how did you know?" You admit a bit shocked at her accuracy of the situation at hand.

"You have that look in your eye." She shrugs, "now tell me why is a pretty girl like you having a break down on a random bench?"

You couldn't keep all this to yourself, so you decided to lay all of it on this sweet old lady.

"I fell for my bestfriend, which sucks actually because he deserves so much better then me." You mutter, your voice cracking slightly at the end.

"A bestfriend huh? Why do you think he deserves much better then you honey? If i do say so myself i think any boy would be lucky to have you."

Her words tug at your heart, the genuine tone made you want to burst out in tears. "I just feel like he deserves someone like him. A kind loyal person. Not a girl who punches people when they do something wrong to her." You explain.

"I was once like you. And love saved me, let the light in." She says, her husband appearing out of nowhere and helping her up.

"Sani haven't i told you to stop bothering people?" Her husband scolds, turning his head to look at you. "Sorry if my wife bothered you, she likes to talk a lot." He chuckles, smiling softly.

"No, it's okay she didn't bother me."

"See! I didn't bother the young lady, thank you for letting me sit down with you. Have a nice evening miss." They soon began to drift away, her words echoed inside your mind.

Let the light in huh?

As if on que, Yuta's figure approaches you his face wearing a worried expression as relief washed over him when he saw you safe and sound.

You got up from the bench, smiling towards Yuta as you walked towards him, closing the distance between the two of you. "Where were you (Y/N)? I was so worried it's been 30 minutes!" He says, worry evident in his tone.

"I'm sorry. . I needed some time to think," You and him began walking side by side, making your way back to the karaoke place.

"And?" He hummed, averting his gaze toward you.

"And what?" You quirk a brow, your eyes meeting in the dim lighting of the empty street.

"Did you figure it out?" He brushes a leaf that fell on your head away.

"Mhm. . ." You smile, "i think i did."

"Good. Now let's go back in Gojo's forcing everyone to sing Judas by Lady gaga."
