"So what's up with you guys anyway your all lovey-dovey," I say looking at Chris and Sarah slightly jealous of their relationship

Then they both just stared at each other still holding hands

"Well?" Teddy asks

"Oh uh... We kinda like each other...?" Sarah says slowly with an awkward smile on her face

Then behind me Chris, Gordie and Sarah were all talking about something

Once the song finished we approached a really tall bridge that was also a part of the train tracks

We all just stopped I was completely shocked and terrified 'what if I fell?' I thought to myself

"Any of you guys when the next train is due?" Chris asked

"We could go down to the route 136 bridge" Chris suggests

"What are you crazy! That's 5 miles downriver!" Teddy states

"walking 5 miles downriver and back could take till dark.." I say slowly

"thank you atleast someone agrees!" Teddy shouts pointing at me

"ok! I agree with you too but.. if a train comes there's no where to go!" Vern explains

"no there isn't you just jump!" Teddy says

"Teddy its 100 feet.." Chris explains

"Yea teddy" we all add on

"Look, you guys can go around.. But! I'm talking Katie with me... You know for company!" Teddy explains grabbing my hand

"Oh okay..?" I say slowly

Then he began dragging me along the bridge

"Teddy slow down! No train is coming" I say trying to keep up without tripping

Then Gordie bent down to feel the tracks for vibrations

It was pretty relaxing everyone was silent we just walked and walked

By this time teddy finally let go of my hand

My paranoid self kept looking back for the train to see Vern slowly crawling across the bridge trapping Gordie behind him

Then his comb slipped out of his front pocket on his shirt

"I lost the comb.." he said slowly

"Forget it Vern," Gordie said

Me teddy Sarah and Chris kept walking all in a row

Until gordie screamed at the top of his lungs
"TRAIN!" he screamed it so loud!

We all looked back quickly with a terrified look on our faces

Teddy's first reaction was to grip onto my hand and sprint
Chris had the same idea with Sarah

"MOVE IT, MAN!" Chris said pushing past me and Teddy

"MOVE VERN WE ARE GONNA DIE DAMMIT!" Gordie screamed trying to pull Vern up by his bag

"RUN RUN!" Teddy screamed still pulling me

Then we finally got to the end we quickly jumped off rolling ourselves on the group safely

"H-holy shit-" I say slowly between breaths I was on the verge of tears

Then I pulled Teddy in a hug if it wasn't for him I would be dead by now

"MOVE YOUR ASS! COME ON MAN" both of the boys screamed at the top of their lungs

Then Gordie was screaming too
Vern was crying
"GO VERN!" Gordie screamed pushing Vern

"RUN GOD DAMMIT!" I screamed anxiously

The train got closer and closer then Vern and Gordie both jumped off falling

"Shit!" Teddy shouted pulling me and Sarah up by our arms roughly

We all sprinted over to them

But luckily they were fine they only had a few bruises and cuts

"Hey at least now we know when the next train is due" Chris says causing me to quickly nudge him on his elbow
