• jackson and veronica bond over their lack of family. he may be closer with his mom than she is to hers, but he and catherine still don't have a perfect relationship. veronica finds it really hard to open up about everything she went through after losing her sister, and he's the first one she can really talk to about it in the way that she needs.
• whenever they have kids, jackson is an extremely supportive partner. she struggles after having alejandra and he's there for every bit of it, even though he's busy with his fellowship at this point.
• on her father's and sister's birthdays and death dates, he tries to plan dates and keep her busy to distract her, but by the end of the night he always has a lantern ready to light and send off in honor of whomever the day is for
• even after getting married and having kids, veronica and jackson go on dates all the time. they often have meredith, alex, or jo watch the kids, so they can have an evening or even a night alone together.
