“We need to talk about..
What we're going to do now.”

Kenma sighed as he stared at
the sonogram that was still
in his boyfriend's hand.

The longer he looked at it,
the stranger his heart felt.

“It's up to you, kitten.
I have no say in this because
it's your body.”

“No, you do have a say
because it's your baby too.
I mean.. I wouldn't let you
force me to have the baby
but the thing is..”

“You want the baby, right?”

Kuroo asked softly as he caressed
the image of the mini human bean
on the sonogram.

“I don't know..
It scares me to think about
how the next months, even
years would look like with a child.
I just turned 17, I'm literally kinda
a child myself. I'm completely
financially dependent on my
parents because I don't have
my own income and I don't
want to do that to them.
A child is expensive.
And let's assume I mentally
survive the pregnancy while
going to school..
How will it work out with a baby?
It's not like I can bring them

to school with me all the time.”

“But?”

There were so many
reasons against it.

Kenma knew that it was obvious
what decision he should make.

But whenever his gaze fell
onto the sonogram, his heart
skipped a beat.

Their mini human bean.

“Do you picture yourself
as a father this young?
You don't even know what
your parents would say..”

Kuroo hummed softly before
he pressed a soft kiss on top of
his boyfriend's head, most likely
to calm himself but it had the
same effect on Kenma.

“If you'd have asked me that
a few months ago, I'd have
definitely said no.
But the thing is..”

It was obvious that the ravenette
struggled to find the right words
but Kenma understood it.

He knew what Tetsuro was
trying to say.

“It's different now because
the baby is already here.”

“Mhm.”

“And my parents would be
fine eventually. Of course it'll
be a shock just like for your
parents but I'm turning 18 soon.
I'll get a job, even three if needed
if that's the only thing stopping you
from making this work. I'm really..
I'm not trying to influence you,
please never think like that, okay?
But I want to find a solution for

every one of your concerns so that
you can make your final decision
based on what your heart tells
you and nothing else.”

But even if the older's words
reassured him quite a bit,
this still wasn't what he wanted
to hear from his boyfriend.

He wanted an honest answer
if he was in or not.

Because Kenma knew that he'd
only do this with Kuroo by his side.

“Kuroo..”

“Hm?”

“Please just be honest with me.
Maybe it's easier..

If you were in my situation,
what would you do?”

“If I were in your situation,
I wouldn't keep it.”

Kenma didn't like the sting he
felt in his heart at the answer.

“But I'm not in your situation,
I'm not the one with the
bean in my tummy.
And in my current situation I'd say..
I'll give my best to be the greatest
dad if you want to have the baby.”

“So you.. Want the baby?”

“If you do too, yes.
If not, then no.”

“Kuroo!
You're not being helpful at all!”

Kenma whined and slapped
the older's chest, making
Tetsuro whine too.

“I just don't want to influence you,
that's all! But I'd be.. a bit sad
if this bean was gone.”

“I'm going to keep it.”

“Are you saying that because
of me now? Because if you do-”

“No, stupid! I'm saying that
because that's what I want. I..
I needed to make sure you're all
in with this, this is a decision

that'll change the rest of our lives.
And you'll be stuck with me for at
least the next seven months,
don't you dare break up with me
while I'm pregnant with your kid-
Ow!”

“That's what you get for
saying nonsense!”

Kuroo chuckled when Kenma
rubbed his ass, trying to ease
the stinging from the slap.

“As if I'd ever leave you.
But kitten..”

“Hm?”

“Are you sure you're ready for this?”

The small blonde moved his head
so he could look up at his boyfriend,
amber eyes shining so beautifully.

“As long as I have you by my side,
I can do this. So don't you dare
get cold feet, I'm going to tell
our kid that their dad is a coward.”

And Kuroo couldn't stop himself
from grinning when Kenma
said ‘our kid.’

He was really going to be a dad.

“No need to do that,
I'll stick to your side like that
chewing gum to your sneaker sole.”

The ravenette chuckled and pressed
a gente kiss on his boyfriend's
forehead when Kenma still looked
up at him with a soft smile.

“Gosh, I really love you.
You know that?”

There was this bright grin on
Kuroo's face as his eyes turned
into crescents and his boyfriend
couldn't help but giggle slightly at
the older's cuteness before the
ravenette pulled him into
a sweet kiss.

“Love you too.”
