YN POV

"Y/n! Get your ass down here!" I hear Richie shout from downstairs

"No, it's summer break.." I groan

"We're going to the quarry! And Bill's gonna be there" I can just hear the smirk on his face

I jump out of bed and quickly get dressed and brush my teeth and my hair then run down the stairs.

"Alright, I'll see you outside in a minute" I say putting a pop tart in the toaster.

It finally pops back up making me grab it and run outside and hop on my bike

Time skip

We finally get to the quarry and I see all the rest of the losers waiting for us.

"Y/n, y-you look-" Bill says getting cut off by his stutter

"Pretty, you look pretty" Ben smiles

"Oh, thanks" I say wishing Bill said it

They all walk to the end of the cliff and play loogie while I sit on a rock listening to music waiting for Bev.

"Psst, y/n" I hear someone say from behind me making me turn around to see Beverly
"Come here"

I walk towards her
"What's up?"

"We should jump at the same time" She says

"Alright, who's first?" We hear Bill ask

"We'll go" Bev says as she strip down into her undergarments and I take my glasses off and put them on a rock.

"Sissies" We both say as we jump off

"What the fuck! We just got showed up by girls! And one of them were my sister!" Richie shouts making me laugh

"Come on!" Bev shouts

"We don't got all day" I shout

Bill jumps first followed by Richie, Stanley, Ben, and then Eddie.

We all began to splash each other.

We start to play chicken fight with Richie on Bens shoulders and me on bevs shoulders

"I already won! We already won!" Richie tells before being pushed off by me.

"Ha!" I laugh

We all start swimming around.

I look beside me to see Eddie and Stan drowning each other

Then I look behind me and see Bill and Bev smiling at each other making it feel like I just got punched in the chest

"I-i think I'm gonna get out" I say but no one hearing me over Richie shouting

"Ah! Fuck what was that? Something touched my foot right here!" He shouts

We all go under water

"It's a turtle" Me and Bill say in unison making me smile and look at him

Time skip

We all sit on a rock while bust a move is playing

Me and Bev lay on our towels as we tan.

"I think they're staring" Bev says as we both look over.

Yeah, staring at you.. Not me.
Except Stan and Eddie.

Why couldn't Bill look at me? What does she have that I don't. I mean I have bigger boobs than her I have longer hair.

They all look away.

"News flash, Ben. Schools out for summa!" Richie says in a terrible accent while digging through Ben's bag

"Oh, that? That's not school stuff" Ben says as Richie grabs a card from his bag

"Who sent you this?" Richie asks trying to flip the card making me get a quick glance at the letters 'Bev'

"No one! Give it.. No one" Ben says taking the card and putting it back in his bag

Richie grabs out a journal or something
"What's with the history project?" He asks

"Oh.. When I first moved here, I didn't have anyone to hang out with, so I just started spending time at the library" Ben says as Richie passes the papers to Bill

"You went to the library? On purpose?" Richie asks

"Hey! I go to the library" I say as Richie snickers

"Oh, I wanna see" Bev says going to sit beside Bill

"Where can I sit?" I ask

"On the ground" Richie says

"Here, come sit beside me" Stanley says smiling

"Thanks Stan" I smile back

"What's the black spot?" Stan asks

"The Black Spot was a nightclub that was burned down years ago by a racist cult" I say

"The what?" Richie asks

"Don't you watch Geraldo?" Eddie asks as Bill looks at Bev making everyone look at her

"Y-your hair-" Bill says getting cut off by his stutter

"Your.. Your hairs beautiful, Beverly" Ben says cutting of Bill once again making Bill glare at him

"Oh. Right. Thanks" She smiles tucking some hair behind her ear

"Here pass it" Richie says as Bill passes the papers to Richie

I rest my head on Stanley's shoulder to see the papers

"Derrys not like any town I've been in before. They did a study once, and it turns out people die or disappear six times the national average" Ben says

"You read that?" Beverly asks

"And that's just grown up. Kids are worse. Way, way worse" He says
"I've got more stuff if you wanna see it"

Everyone nods except Eddie

"I mean.. I would, but, I have some things I need to do at home" I lie

"No you don't." Richie says
"And, mom said we need to "stick together"

"Yeah, before she left to her business trip two months ago" I roll my eyes

"P-please, y/n" Bill says making me give in

"Fine" I say
