âĄMemory LostâĄ
Wren woke up slightly when she felt someone flop down on the bed next to her. She slightly cracked open an eye to see her boyfriend smiling at her making her sigh and turn around, "Go away." She mumbled.
"Wha- Wren! I didn't even get to say anything yet." Stiles said and she turned her head slightly to look at him, "Are you going to ask me to come hunt down something that you think could possibly be something supernatural?" She asked making him purse his lips slightly.
"No, that wasn't what I was going to do. I was going to tell you how much of an amazing and beautiful girlfriend you are." He said making her raise her eyebrows. "Okay maybe I was." He said making her groan, "Stiles, you do remember that I'm a Seer, right?" She asked and he nodded.
"Yeah." He said and she hummed slightly, "Yeah, which means I'm sometimes woken up in the middle of the night by a dream. I would like to savor my dreamless sleep anytime I get the chance. Go away." She said before covering her face with a pillow. Stiles just sat up slightly and wrapped an arm around her waist, "Please Wren. Come one, Scott and I can't do it without you. We're a trio, we can't be a trio without our third." He said.
"Why am I the third?" Wren asked and Stiles moved the pillow off her face, "If you go, I'll watch a movie of your choice that I normally wont watch." He said and she squinted slightly. "10 Things I Hate About You." She said and he nodded, "Deal." He said before they shook hands.
Wren smiled before pulling him down into a kiss making him hum slightly. When they pulled apart Wren sat up slightly and smiled smugly. "I was gonna go anyways." She said before kissing his cheek and standing up while he frowned slightly, "So there was no point in making a deal?" He asked.
"Yep! And you can't back out of it now."

At a crime scene, numerous police cruisers and an ambulance with flashing lights are parked as Sheriff's deputies mill around the scene. the radiator of a transport van that wrecked is hissing loudly as Stilinski walks over to it.
He runs his hands over the five long, parallel claw gashes in the paint of the van's hood and makes an exasperated face before walking over to the ambulance, where a deputy is in the middle of putting a brace on Stiles' injured fingers and hand while Scott and Wren watches. Looking exasperated, Stilinski wastes no time in demanding to know what is going on.
"What in the hell were you three thinking?" He asked making Wren cross her arms over her chest as she turned to Scott and Stiles with raised eyebrows. "We were just trying to help." Scott said making Stilinski nod slightly, "Why don't you try and help me understand- what the hell happened here?" He asked.
"Right. Well, we were trying to gently persuade him to pull over..." Stiles said and Scott nodded while Wren nodded slowly, "Oh yeah, that was definitely what I would call gently." She said, smiling with Stiles shot her a look. "He was getting away?" Scott asked sheepishly and Stilinski nodded, "He got away."
"Right! Because obviously he's some sort of criminal mastermind, Dad!" Stiles said and Stilinski started leading them to the back of the van. "You want to guess what the stolen merchandise is? Hmmm?" Stilinski asks as he opens the doors to reveal that the back is full of large gas tanks and Stiles pursed his lips, "Critical life-saving medical equipment?"
"No."
"...Poison gas?"
"Nope!"
"...Filled with drugs...?"
"Helium." Stilinski said making Wren raise her eyebrows, "Helium?" She asked and he nodded making her turn to Scott and Stiles. "Helium?" She asked and Stiles looked at her sheepishly, "Two movies of your choice?" He asked and she hummed. "I am gonna find the most cheesiest rom com ever." Wren said and Stiles nodded, "I know."
A few minutes later the three of them were back in the jeep, Wren driving while Stiles sat in the passenger seat and Scott in the back. "This could be a good thing." Scott said making Stiles look over at him and scoff, "That we saved helium?" Stiles asked and Scott chuckled.
"I mean... That... They don't need us anymore." Scott said and Stiles scoffed again, "Okay, well, they need us. They just don't know it." Stiles said and Wren glanced over at him. "We're all going off to college soon... so, Beacon Hills is gonna have to survive without us at least for a few years." She said and Stiles looked over at her, "Beacon Hills will burn to the ground without us." He said making her chuckle.
"Stiles... They don't need us." Scott sighed. Just then, Stiles' phone starts to vibrate, and when he sees who is calling, he becomes excited and holds the phone up so Wren and Scott can see a call from Stilinski.
"Oh, they need us!"

Stilinski stands in his office in the station with Alex, the young boy who was found in an otherwise-abandoned car. Scott, Wren and Stiles, who have just arrived, lingers outside the door while they wait for what they will do next. After a moment, Stilinski hesitantly approaches Alex about what's going to happen.
"Alex... You know we're having trouble locating your parents. And, since you can't remember anything, we have a method- an unusual method- that might help you remember. But, I need you to be okay with it. I also need you to know that it's probably gonna hurt..." Stilinski explained. Alex looks both scared for a moment before he sets his jaw and looks at Stilinski with a determined expression, "I don't care. I just want to find my mom and dad." He said.
Stilinski nodded in understanding and turns back to look at the teenagers, who look unsure about this but are otherwise willing to help. They walk into the office as the Stilinski begins closing the blinds so no one can see what they're about to do. Scott kneels in front of Alex, who is still sitting on the couch, and pats him on the shoulder affectionately as he looks him in the eyes with a reassuring expression.
"You ready?" Scott asked and Alex nodded. Scott nods again before moving his hand to the back of Alex's neck so he can surreptitiously flick out his claws. After a moment, Scott firmly shoves his claws into the base of Alex's skull, and Alex gasps in pain as they both close their eyes.
A few minutes later both Scott's and Alex's eyes shot open with a gasp as Scott staggers backward. Stiles and Wren rushes over to help Scott while Stilinski checks on Alex, "I saw a guy on a horse..." Scott said making Stiles and Wren raise their eyebrows. "A horse?" They asked at the same time and Scott nodded, "He had a gun."
Sheriff looks both confused and concerned by this revelation, "Okay, a guy with a gun? That sounds like my department, not yours." He said and Wren shrugged slightly. "I don't know. There's been times where guys with guns was our department." Wren said.
"What about his parents? What happened to them?" Stiles asked eagerly and Scott screws up his face in concentration for a moment in an attempt to jog his memory of what he saw before he frowns in disappointment. "I don't know. That's all I remember. But..." He trailed off before taking a deep breath and continuing, "I got this feeling..."
"What kind of feeling?" Wren asked and before Scott could answer, Alex spoke up, "They're coming back. They're coming for me."

Wren sits in the passenger side seat of the Turner family car with her eyes closed and her palms pressed down on the dashboard as Lydia climbed onto the driver seat. She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath while holding onto the steering wheel before opening her eyes again and looking into the mirror with a hum.
Stiles flails awkwardly in the backseat before sitting up. He looks at her with an eager expression, clearly expecting a revelation of some kind. "What?" He asked but Lydia, still staring at her reflection, "This is a perfect shade for me. I forget the name." Lydia said making Wren chuckle. "Espresso and Dusty Rose." Wren said without even looking over at Lydia making Lydia hum and smile at her, "Thank you."
Stiles looks at two girls with a mix of incredulity and exasperation, "Can we please stay on topic?" He asked and Wren sighed before sitting back in the seat and looking at him. "I've been at this for ten minutes and I'm not getting anything." She said and before anyone could say anything they heard a coyote howl making them all get out the car to see a coyote running over.
Wren pulled out some clothes out of her bag right as the coyote turned into Malia. "I don't think they're dead." Lydia said as Wren handed Malia the clothes, "They're dead. Probably torn apart. The only thing I don't get is why there's no blood." Malia said making Wren sigh slightly. "They're not dead. If they were dead, Lydia and I would sense it." Wren said and Malia shrugged as she put on the clothes, "If they were alive, I'd smell it."
"Yeah, I'm not getting anything either." Scott said making Stiles look at him exasperatedly. "Scott, what are you talkin' about? You were in his head for four minutes! I timed it." Stiles said and Scott shrugs, at a loss for options as to explain the evening's events, shrugs tiredly, "Well, it's not an exact science... And he's a kid. Maybe he's too freaked out to remember?"
"Why does it matter if they're dead?" Malia asked looking at Stiles confused, "Dead is dead, okay? If it's just a robbery, we can't help them. And, if it's something supernatural, my dad can't help them." Stiles said making Lydia raise her eyebrows at him. "It sounds like you want it to be supernatural..."
"It's been, like, three months since anything's happened." He said and Wren scoffed lightly, "Yeah, and once a week, you drag us out of bed like we're some sort of supernatural metal detector." Wren said and Stiles looked at her in offense. "Okay, it is way more often than that." He said making her raise her eyebrows, "That doesn't make it any better Stiles. You know we're allowed a break from supernatural once in a while."
"You can't tell me that you think this is just some series of impossible coincidences?" Stiles asked and Lydia rolled her eyes, "What we're saying is maybe that wouldn't be so bad." She said before her, Wren nd Malia walked away.

Wren sits on a stool in front of the photo background while Sydney goes to take her yearbook photo. Just as Sydney is about to take Wren's picture, Stiles rushes up to her. "Wren, so-" He says right as the flash goes off, and once Wren realizes that he messed up her picture, she gives him a look that causes him to back away apologetically.
"My bad! Sorry, go ahead. You look so beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous." He said and she rolled her eyes and sighed before looking back over at Sydney with a smile, preparing to get her picture taken a second time, only for Stiles to once again interrupt and try to update her, inadvertently getting in the frame just as Sydney clicks the button. "Once- oh!" He said and Wren groans and glared at Stiles, "Stiles, that was gonna be a good one!"
Wren tries her best to get the picture right on the third and fourth tries, but Stiles once again steps in both times just like before. The students in line begin to get impatient and start to grumble loudly about how long it is thinking.
"Stiles!" Wren said as Sydney gives Stiles an impatient look as well, "You're still in the photo." She said. The chattering from the people still waiting in line gets louder as Stiles looks at them with a guilty expression, "Sorry..." He said. Finally, Wren loses her patience and groans once again as she gets up and drags Stiles to the picnic table outside where Scott, Malia Lydia are sitting.
"You ruined it." Wren said as she sits on the table in between Lydia and Scott while Stiles balks at this accusation. "Why would I want to ruin your yearbook photo?" He asked and she shoot him a look, "Maybe because you haven't signed up for your own photo yet?" She said and Stiles smiles smugly as he digs into his pants pockets.
"Yes, I did!" He said and pulls out a folded up sheet of paper and unfolds it before showing it to showing it to her without look at it for himself. Wren looked at it before sighing and looking at him with raised eyebrows, "It's blank." She said and Stiles frowns and looks at the paper, and it's clear by his surprise that he thought he filled it out.
After a moment, Scott, who is so busy with his own schoolwork speaks up, "Or maybe you're sublimating the stress of graduating by avoiding key milestones?" He says. Wren, Lydia and Malia share a confused look before turning to stare blankly at Scott, and when Scott notices the silence, he looks up at them and gestures toward them with the pen in his hand. "Psych paper." He said and they nodded.
"Hey, the deputies searched the car. No slugs, no exit hole. And, the address Alex gave my dad? It's an abandoned house." Stiles said and the four look at Stiles as though they don't understand where he's going with this, and when Stiles sees their questioning expressions, he starts to lose his patience as well. "Come on! Missing parents? Suspicious guy on horseback? Magic bullet? Who's coming with?" Stiles asked.
"I'd love to but I have to retake my photos and help Malia study." Wren said and Malia nodded in agreement making Stiles look at them crazy while Lydia just shakes her head, "Yeah... not interested..." She said making Stiles turn to Scott, who is the only one who looks guilty about not going with Stiles.
"I cannot miss any more classes." He said and Stiles looks at him in disappointment and continues to protest as Scott tries to explain himself. "I missed thirty-eight last semester."
"Scott-"
"And Lydia and Wren's mom is the only reason I'm still in school." Scott says and Wren sighed and smiled at Stiles, "We can go after school." She said. Stiles, offended by the three of his friends and his girlfriend, scoffed, "You know what? Forget it. I'll take Liam." He said. Stiles turns to the left to find Liam so he can invite him to investigate, only to sigh when he finds Liam passionately making out with Hayden on a nearby park bench.
After a moment, Wren, Scott, Lydia, and Malia look over and see them kissing as well, though the only one who looks surprised and annoyed by this is Stiles. "Yeah, I'm not taking Liam." Stiles said making them all hum and shake their heads.
Just then, Sydney approaches them with her camera in hand and smiles at them, "Can I get a candid?" She asked. "Uh, no-" Before Stiles can fully decline, Wren grabbed his backpack and pulled him down to where he was sitting in between her legs as she rested her elbows on her knees. "Sit down and smile." She said as she kissed the top of his head before placing her hands on the top of his head arms resting her chin on them.
Stiles sighed softly before pulling out a shard of glass he found in the windshield the night before out of his pocket and hands it to Scott. "Okay, fine- if you can explain to me why this is blue, I'll let it go." He said and Scott looks at the glass to see it has turned a translucent greenish-blue color, but before he can ponder how this happened, Sydney snaps him out of his reverie.
"Everyone smile!"
Scott tucks the shard into his pocket and looks up at the camera as he, Lydia, Malia, Wren and Stiles smile as Sydney to take a photo of them.

"Thirty-nine?" Stiles asked as he, Wren and Scott walk up to the school doors. Scott and Wren nodded in agreement that they will be skipping yet another class as they leave the school. However, just as the double doors have closed themselves, they're opened again by Wren as she walks in front of the boys who are shoved back into the school by Natalie, who is clutching their shoulders tightly and steering them through the doors with a stern expression.
"None you are going anywhere. Thirty-eight classes, Scott. I had to beg the superintendent! And Wren, just because they do something, doesn't mean you have to do it too. If they jumped off a bridge, would you?" Natalie asked and Wren pursed her lips. "Whose to say it wouldn't be my idea?" She asked making her mother sigh and give her a look.
"Mrs. Martin, Scott is the sworn protector of Beacon Hills!" Stiles said and Natalie just looks at him unimpressed, "He can protect it at 3:30." She said and Stiles sighed as the three of them turned to walk back to their class. Natalie watches them as they walk away from her, and Stiles lowers his voice to whisper to Scott and Wren. "We're not waiting 'til 3:30."
A few minutes later they all sat in class they're watching a documentary that is clearly boring all of the students. Scott and Stiles are staring at the clock, and after a moment, Stiles squints strongly at the clock and gestures with his fingers, as though he was trying to use some kind of supernatural power to make the clock move until it read 3:30. Blake on the other hand both wasn't paying attention to the clock or the documentary as she wrote in her journal.
"Shattering the goal ninety minutes before H-hour, combat teams, each on a schedule, continued their unloading into assault boats. There would be little time before the first assault wave at the second..."
The documentary played on when all of the suddenly Wren hears a thunderstorm, making her look up from the sketch and out the widow to see it's perfectly clear outside. After a moment, she starts to hear a female voice quietly humming and singing along with the rumbles of thunder and rainfall, "Killer on the road..."
She slightly glanced around confused before turning back to her notebook to read what she wrote. She furrowed her brows when she read about the character that was supposed to be her gets amnesia. She was going to keep reading when someone tossed a piece of paper on her desk making her look over at her sister who was looking at her.
Wren grabbed the paper and read what was on it, "You hear the storm too, right?" Lydia had wrote making Wren look back over at her and nod.
A little while later it's clear that Scott and Stiles are still eager to get out of school as soon as possible while Wren and Lydia, who is still hearing the thunderstorm and the unknown female singing, becomes more and more concerned.
"Smashed up the enemy's gun batteries farther inland. Yet, so ingeniously..."
Suddenly, the bell rings for the day, and Scott and Stiles instantly ran out while
