Wren's outfit:
Chapter Thirty-Six
โ Lunar Eclipse โ
All of the sudden Wren's cloudly white eyes shot open with a gasp as she stepped away from the tub. A few seconds later Scott, Allison and Stiles burst up from the water in the steel tubs, gasping for breath. Fingers wrapping around the sides of the tub, Scott sits up, blinking away the water dripping down his face.
He peers about, squinting under the glare. Feet land on tiled floor as the three teenagers pull themselves out, Wren helping Stiles a bit. They gaze over a large and empty, industrial white room. A room that might have once housed dozens of cubicles, but is now devoid of any life.
Soaking wet, Allison, Scott and Stiles look to each other in confusion before looking at Wren worriedly. "Are you okay?" Stiles ask and Wren nodded, "Yeah, but I'm pretty sure this is nothing like how it was with Isaac." She said, glancing around until they all notice something even stranger.
At the other end of the room, a massive tree stump seems to grow right out of the tiled floor. Without a word spoken, the three teens begin a cautious approach. Scott reaches the stump first and looks down at the numerous rings of the tree. His hand rises to his arm, pulling his wet sleeve up to gaze on the two bands of his tattoo.
Almost by instinct, Scott reaches a hand out to the rings on the base of the tree stump. The moment he touches the wood with his fingertips, his eyes close and all of the sudden it was like they were all sucked into a vision.
Wren glanced around as she now stood in some underground cellar before noticing Melissa, Stilinski and Argent all tied to pillars. She started to walk towards them but suddenly got hit with a massive wave of dizziness as the room started spinning slightly.
Once it stopped, the parents where no longer tied up but now they were trying to help Allison, Wren and Isaac keep the place from collapse on all of them due to a storm.
โ
Back in the animal clinic, Scott, Stiles and Allison's eyes snapped open and they lurch up, surging back to consciousness, while Wren's eyes went back to normal as she quickly stepped back. Water splashes across the floor as they each grasp for the edges of the steel tub, pulling themselves up while Isaac moved over to grab Wren's arms. "I saw it- I know where it is." Scott said as one-by-one they scramble out of the tubs, soaking wet.
"It was the night we were looking for the body." Scott said and Stiles nodded, "The night you were bit by Peter." He said. "I was there too. In the car with my mother. We almost hit someone." Allison said and Scott looked at her, "It was me-you almost hit me" He said. "I didn't see it like you guys. I saw your parents in a cellar underneath it. There's going to be a storm later that'll make it start to cave in." She said before looking at the others.
"We can find it." Scott said making Deaton, Isaac and Lydia share looks far less hopeful. "What?" Wren said and Isaac sighed, "You guys were out a long time." He said and Scott looked to the windows to see that it's still night. But Stiles is the first to make the realization, "How long is a long time?" He asked worriedly. Deaton glanced at everyone before sighing, "Sixteen hours." He said making their eyes widen.
"We've been in the water for sixteen hours?" Scott asked and Deaton nodded, "And the full moon rises in less than four."
โ
Towel pulled tight around his shoulders, Stiles shakes his head at Scott, "No, dude. You're not going back to them." He said and Scott shook his head, "I made a deal with Deucalion." He said. "Anybody else think that sounds a lot like "deal with the Devil." I don't know about you guys, but I've heard that situation doesn't usually come with a happy ending." Stiles argued making Wren chuckle, "Why's it matter anyway?" Isaac asked.
"Because I still don't think we can beat Jennifer without their help." Scott said glancing around at all of them. "He trusts you more than any of us. Tell him he's wrong." Allison said looking over at Deaton. "I'm not so sure he is. Circumstances like this sometimes require you to align yourself with people you'd normally consider enemies." Deaton said
"We're supposed to trust him? The guy who calls himself Death, destroyer of worlds." Isaac said and Deaton shrugged, "I wouldn't trust him, no. But you could certainly use him to your advantage. Deucalion may be the enemy, but he could also be the bait." Deaton said.
The sound of the front door opening interrupts them. Following Deaton, they look out to the waiting room to see Ethan standing just behind the gate. "I'm looking for Lydia." He says and she steps out from behind the others. "What do you want?" She asked and he sighed slightly.
"I need your help." He said while Wren went to stand behind Lydia, "With what?"
"Stopping my brother and Kali from killing Derek."

"Just grab anything." Scott said over the phone as he, Wren, Allison and Isaac stepped out of the elevator of Allison's apartment complex. "Stiles, I'm not smelling your dad's boxers. Socks? Okay, I'll smell the socks." Scott said before hanging up.
"What about me?" Isaac asked as Allison unlocked the door, "See what you can find in my dad's closet. Anything with the strongest scent." She said and he nodded. Allison went to walk into the office but froze when she saw Scott's dad and two other men standing in front of the desk covered in weapons. "Quite the arsenal your father's got here, young lady..." Agent McCall said, standing up as Scott walked over to the doorway.
"Scott." McCall said and Scott furrowed his brows slightly, "What are you doing here?" He asked. "Following one of the only leads I have. Now, since I don't know where you've been, why don't you have a seat, and we can talk? You too, Isaac and Wren." McCall said making Isaac and Wren awkwardly step out.
"How do you know my name?" Isaac asked, "Your name is one of the few things I know. To be honest, the rest of what's going on around here has me stumbling in the dark, even over the smallest clue." McCall said and Scott stepped into the room. "If you're trying to tell me that you don't have a clue, I learned that a long time ago." Scott said and McCall sighed, "I'm really hoping to avoid the embarrassment of dragging my own son into an interrogation room. Really hoping." He said.
A few minutes later Scott and Allison sat in the two chairs while Wren sat on the arm of Allison's chair and Isaac sat on the small table next to her. Isaac pulled put a pack of mints, offering Wren one making her smile as McCall started talking.
"I'm not gonna lie, I'm more than a little disturbed- not only by the number of missing parents, but the fact that it's Stiles' father, your father, and... your mother." McCall said and Isaac raised his hand up slightly, "Mine are both dead." He said and Wren chuckled and shrugged slightly.
"My dad is basically dead to me." She said and her and Isaac smiled at each other while McCall gave them both an irritated look. "Save the cliche teenage apathy for your high school teachers." McCall said and Wren rolled her eyes as she rested her chin on Isaac's shoulder.
"The four of you know more than you're saying, and I'm fully willing to keep you here all night if I have to." McCall said and Scott shook his head, "You can't keep us here." He said. "Not without some kind of warrant." Allison said and McCall raised his eyebrows, "I've got a desk full of probable cause." He said and Allison stood up.
"My father is a highly respected private security consultant and federally licensed firearms dealer- that means he has to own a few weapons." She said before pointing at a crossbow, "Like this one-hundred-seventy-five-pound-draw tactical crossbow." She said before pointing at a knife.
"Or this carbon-steel marine combat knife." She said and then tapped a gun, "Fifty A.E. Desert Eagle." She said before picking up a smoke grenade and hummed slightly. "Smoke grenade with pull-ring igniter." She said before quickly pulling the ring and tossing it to the ground. "Go!" Allison said as smoke started filling the room and Wren laughed as they all quickly got up and ran out the apartment.
"Wait! Scott, wait!"
โ
Allison's car and Scott's dirt bike pulled up to the preserve before Allison, Issac and Wren got out while Scott climbed off his bike. "You okay?" Allison asked, looking at Scott and he nodded, "I didn't know what to say to him. I couldn't come up with anything." He said.
"But what you did? That was awesome!" He said as Isaac walked up to them, "I still haven't gotten anything from Stiles. You guys?" He asked and Scott and Wren both shook their heads. "I don't get it." Scott said and Isaac sighed, "Alright. Well, we can't wait for him. Come on." He said before they walked over to the cliff. They looked out at the town while Wren glanced up at the storm forming in the sky.
"Cutting it a little close, aren't we, Scott?" Deucalion said making them turn around, "We got a little delayed. Where are the others?" Scott asked. "Occupying themselves with other pursuits..." Deucalion said and Scott furrowed his brows slightly, "So, it's just you and me against her?" He asked.
"I think you'll be surprised what a good team we make." Deucalion said and Scott turned to his friends. "Get Stiles, and get to the root cellar, okay? We'll keep Jennifer away long enough for you to get them out of there." He said and Isaac looked at him confused, "How are you gonna do that?" He asked. "I have a plan." He said before following Deucalion making Wren, Isaac and Allison glance at each other.
โ
Hurrying through the woods, Isaac pauses behind Allison and Wren as they slow to a stop. "Are you sure we're going in the right direction?" He asked and Allison nodded, "I know we're near it. You think you can pick up a scent?" She asked.
"I'm trying, but I c-" Isaac said as he glanced around while the girls see nothing but nondescript forest all around them. Wren started to walk forward, but Isaac grabs her arm. "I hear something." He said and Wren and Allison glance at each other as they hold still while he cocks his head, focusing on a familiar rhythmic pulse.
"It's an-it's an emitter. It's one of your dad's." He said making Allison's eyes widen, "Are you sure?" She asked and he nodded. "Has to be. Come on." He said before grabbing Wren's hand, Isaac pulls her forward with Allison following them. The three of them charging into the thick of the woods in pursuit of the pulsing sound.
Under the howl of the rising storm, the three teenagers run into a clearing at the center of which lies the stump of the great tree. As the girls move closer, Isaac's eyes flash yellow for a brief moment, searching the woods. "Guy!" He said making them follow his eyes to the root caller's entrance in the distance.
Hurrying ahead, they don't notice the dust swirling across the ground. At first, it's merely wind pushing the dirt across the arid landscape. But then the strong breeze turns to powerful gusts, dust and dirt pluming into the air as thunder rumbles above.
Melissa, Stilinski and Argent look up when they hear footsteps run down the stairs to see Wren, Allison and Isaac run in. "Oh, my God! Thank God!" Allison reaches for her father and he blinks away the dust to look at her in pride, "You found us." He said and she nodded happily before untying the ropes.
"Where's Stiles? Where's my son?" Stilinski asked as Isaac untied Melissa's ropes while Wren untied Stilinski. "And Scott?" Melissa asked, "They're coming, all right? They're on their way to help." Isaac said.
But they all pause when they hear an ominous creak from above. All eyes turn to the moonlight blinking through the holes in the ceiling. And the sound of wind picking up its pace. The storm builds outside the entrance to the root cellar, wind whipping through the woods with ever-rising intensity.
The group turns for the stairs but hearing the wind above increasing velocity, they pause. The root cellar shakes violently, as if hit by an earthquake.
A loud creak, snapping sounds all around them making Argent and Melissa take cautious steps back from the walls. Wren, Allison and Isaac look to the ceiling as another violent tremor sends clouds of dirt bursting in and fragments of wood flying. "This is the storm I saw..." Wren said as she slowly stepped forward making them glance at her.
Hand raised over his face, Isaac's eyes widen as he pulled Wren back when the stairs ripped right off the wall and collapses in a heap of splintering wood and cracking stone. As the dust settles, the group peers up to the entrance now blocked from the outside by branches and dirt steadily pouring in. The parents and three teenagers glance to each other in rising fear while the wind howls louder and louder.
While the dust storm outside threatens to crush the very framework of the root cellar, the teenagers and three adults search for another escape. Standing on broken shelves, Isaac tries to reach up to the entrance. "Isaac!" Wren yelled, grabbing the back if his shirt pulling him away as beam snaps above their heads, wood splintering as the roof and walls slowly begin to cave in on them.
Isaac, Allison, Wren and the parents desperately try to push back against the walls and beams supporting the ceiling even as the very structure of the root cellar appears to be collapsing in on them. The walls and ceiling continue their collapse, closing in on the group. Stripped of his supernatural power, Isaac buckles under the weight. "I can't hold it- I can't do it!" He yelled and Stilinski slips in beside him to help. Wren, Argent, Allison and Melissa follows, hands and backs pressed against the beam.
Suddenly two feet hit the floor of the cellar. An aluminum baseball bat slides under the beam just as it drops down another inch. Astonishingly, it holds. Stilinski turns to find Stiles somehow kneeling right next to him. He looks at the bat, then to his son with a smile, "I told you aluminum was better than wood." He said. With a relieved smile, Stilinski wraps an arm around the boy while everyone else chuckled.
Wren sighed softly, glancing at Isaac as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder, pulling her to him. A few minutes later Stiles pulls his ringing phone out of his pocket and puts it to his ear, "Scott?"
"Hey, are you okay?"
"Yeah, we're okay. We're all okay. How about you? You okay?"
"Sort of."
"You think you can come get us?"
"Yeah, of course."
"Great! Okay. Um, uh... Bring a ladder." Stiles said making everyone laugh.
โ
"I let you win." Isaac said and Wren scoffed as she, Isaac and Allison walked down the stairs of the highschool. "No, you just can't admit that your girlfriend who's nine inches shorter than you, knocked you down without having any supernatural strength." She said and Allison laughed, glancing back at the two in amusement.
"Allison, help me out here." Isaac said and Allison shrugged and held her hands up slightly, "I'm with Wren on this." She said making Isaac look at her offended while Wren laughed. "You're only on her side before she's your best friend." Isaac said and Wren looked at him in amusement, "It's okay to admit that I beat you, babe. It won't change how I feel about you." She said making Allison laugh while Isaac rolled his eyes.
"You're so annoying." He mumbled making her laugh as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder before kissing the top of her head.
