Monday, 3rd of February, 12:02 PM. UA Cafeteria.
The three teens were in the cafeteria, with Mikumo and Yuu on their phones, and Katsuki leaning over Mikumo's shoulder, looking at whatever he was looking at.
Katsuki stood up."Oki-dokes! I'll be back in a sec, so don't miss me too much!"
"We won't."
"Cya."
Not before blowing a not-so-subtle kiss to Mikumo, Katsuki skipped out of the cafeteria. After waiting for a few moments to make sure the coast was clear, Mikumo and Yuu tossed their phones to the side, and slammed one of Mikumo's notebooks on the table, along with a pencil.
Mikumo slapped a picture of the blonde in question onto the notebook with a paperclip. "Okay, we have approximately three point o'seven minutes before Katsuki comes back, so let's make this quick."
"How about some classic, plain chocolate?" Yuu suggested, taking the pencil and writing it down on the paper.
Mikumo huffed, crossing it out messily. "See, that's the problem; Katsuki doesn't like sweet things."
"Then why do you want to get him chocolate? Wouldn't it just be easier to get him something savoury?"
"Because who in their right mind gets their partner a bag of chips on Valentine's Day?"
. . .
"First of all, they could be heart-shaped chips. But second of all, you do have a point."
Mikumo checked the entrance of the cafeteria, time was running out. "Any other ideas?"
"Well, what does he like? Besides you."
He rolled his eyes, but thought about this for a moment, biting down on the pencil. "Hm... he's surprisingly picky, and has really high standards of what he eats, but he likes bitter foods, and spicy foods too."
"That checks out. I think I saw him down a bottle of hot sauce in those super tiny containers one time-"
"Oh! I got it!"
Mikumo quickly snatched the pencil on the table and started writing, eyes lit up with determination.
Yuu then looked back at the cafeteria entrance from her seat. "Uh, you might wanna hurry, he's on his way over right n-!"
"Hello,"
Mikumo and Yuu looked up.
"Mikumo, Takeyama,"
"Hi, Todoroki." Yuu greeted, watching as he took the seat next to Mikumo, silently praying for the poor, oblivious teen.
"What are you guys doing?" Todoroki peered over at the notebook, causing Yuu to start sweating bullets. "Hero notes? Probably should've guessed that."
A wave of relief washed over Yuu.
"Ahem."
But only for that brief moment.
"Wow, you make really good notes, Mikumo."
"Ahem."
"These details are really amazing. Do you take these on every Pro-Hero?"
"AHEM."
"Even their weaknesses too-"
"AHEM!"
Todoroki finally looked up. "Oh, Gogo. Hi. Did you want a cough drop?"
Katsuki gritted his teeth hard, looking as if they were about to crack from how hard he was biting down on them. "You're in my seat."
"Oh."
. . .
"Are ya' gonna move..?"
"Ohhh. No."
Katsuki squeezed his clasped hands tightly, his knuckles turning white. "Why..?"
"Because I want to sit next to my best friend."
His eye twitched. "What?"
"Yeah. Why don't you sit next to Takeyama?"
Yuu feared for Todoroki's life.
Mikumo was just tired at that point.
Small sparks began to pop and fly out of Katsuki's clenched hands. "I'm not sitting next to Angel Face."
"That's mean. Why don't you want to sit next to her?"
Mikumo facepalmed.
"I swear to fucking go-"
"Katsuki,"
The dark-haired teen looked up from his hand to see Katsuki's hand inches away from a surprisingly calm Todoroki's face, with Yuu sitting up to try and stop the fight, all of them frozen in place as they stared at Mikumo.
"How about we go on a walk together, just the two of us."
Katsuki's once aggravated, enraged expression quickly shifted into a softer, much sweeter one. "Okay!"
He took his hand away from Todoroki, wiping them both on his pants, before helping Mikumo out of the booth like the gentlemen that he was (most of the time. Did this count as princess treatment?).
Keeping his hand in his, Mikumo and Katsuki started walking out of the cafeteria, and as they did this, whilst Katsuki was already rambling on about something, Mikumo shot a look to Yuu, nodding towards the notebook, before turning back to Katsuki was a small smile.
Todoroki, still in the booth along with Yuu, hummed in thought. "They're so close... do you think they're brothers?"
Yuu decided to simply ignore the theorist's obscure comment, and instead took the notebook Mikumo left behind, flipping back to the page they were working on, just after the page with the Hero notes, and read the newest scribble in her head.
