Chifuyu x [fem] reader

"Runa! Runa, where are you!" You tried calling out for your dog who had wondered away from the area. You had looked for her for at least half an hour, sighing you stopped walking still eyeing your surroundings if you had caught a glimpse of her.

A pair of hands landed on your shoulders making you jump, "Boo! did I scare you." You recognised that voice is was Chifuyu a smile threatened to form onto your stressed face. Turning around to meet his green orbs, you furrowed your eyebrows along with a frown.

"Why're you so stressed?" He asked, tilting his head to the side. The arms that had crossed on your chest soon unfolded as you once again let out a deep sigh. "Runa, I lost her.." You mumbled, holding the leash up for him to see.

"No worries Y/n I'll help you find her." You quickly shot your head up to witness Chifuyu smiling at you and giving you a little thumbs up. Returning the smile, you both started to continue the search.

It had been an hour but there were no clues or hints, you started to lose hope as anxiousness filled you. Biting your lower lip, you called out her name one more time hopes that she was in the grassy park where the young kids were located. "Runa!" You called out, voice breaking slightly as you were getting more nervous.

Chifuyu had noticed your strange behaviour, his gut instinct was correct when he saw your eyes glisten. "Hey Y/n what's wrong!?" He exclaimed, his reflexes making him cup your cheeks. You wailed out all your emotions to him. "What if I l-lost Runa for good, I'm such a bad owner!" You  cried whilst sniffling in between mumbled words.

"No, no your not! We'll find her and.." Chifuyu added, trying to make you feel better but your eyes darted away from his speech noticing a small familiar animal. "Runa!" You yelled, surprising Chifuyu as he looked at your glossy eyes and then behind to also notice your dog being pet by a tiny female child.

Running out of Chifuyu's grasp you sprinted towards them. "T-that's my d-dog." You said, breathless weakly pointing to the animal down below. "Oh! I'm sorry about that Miss, your dog is very cute!" The little girl smiled brightly, soon you did too listening to her innocence.

You looked down at Runa giving her a stern look before rushing to put her leash securely. "Y-Y/N!" Hearing the voice you swayed your head in Chifuyu's direction seeing that sweat formed onto his forehead whilst he fanned himself to cool down.

"I'm sorry for running away like that!" You apologised, pressing your hands together, he reassured you that it was fine and great news to him that you managed to find Runa.

"Is this your boyfriend?" The girl asked, looking up at the both of your frozen bodies with her big eyes.

A red hue had settled onto both of your faces, quickly being pulled out the frozen stance Chifuyu and your words were jumbled trying to form proper sentences suddenly was impossible to achieve. Luckily, you saw the girl's mother walk up towards her and apologised before leaving the park.

A awkward silence was placed between you, before Runa had barked loudly grabbing your attention. "S-So what do you wanna do?" You said, still cooling down from the incident before. Chifuyu shot his head up, giving you a small smile his ears still a little red. "I need to go somewhere can you come with me?" The blonde haired boy said, giving you slight puppy eyes.

You couldn't resist and ended up being dragged to a flower store. The aroma of different types of flowers filled your nose, the various flowers patched next to each other swaying gently with the rhythm of the wind.

"Ok, Y/n turn around and don't look until I tap your shoulder." Chifuyu said, you nodded to his information before turning around as said.

Soon hearing the door sliding, indicating Chifuyu was done. You felt the presence behind you and soon a tap was placed on your shoulder. You turned around, eyes widening at the sight of a bouquet of flowers specifically orchids. The sweet scent plunged into your nose.

"Here, they're for you." Chifuyu stated, shyly pushing the bouquet of flowers more to your side.

You took them gently from his slim hands a smile dancing across your face, no one had done this for you. "What's this for?" You questioned, looking at his emerald eyes but he avoided eye contact as he scratched his cheek with his index finger.

"Well um you see I like you Y/n and I like you a lot." Chifuyu said, confidently his cheeks a little puffed out and red whilst his hands were in fists.

His words made you almost lose grip on the flowers but you chuckled a bit and smiled up at him your eyes crinkling into a smile as well.

"I like you too,Chifuyu." You answered, hugging his torso whilst he tried to figure out a way to hold you. Looking up to him your eyes sparkled, "What is it?" Chifuyu asked, tilting his head to the side.

You pecked his lips with no warning seeing his face heat up again you giggled quietly to yourself. You heard Runa bark while wagging her tail, excitedly signalling that she approved. Cupping his cheek in one hand,the bouquet stood still in your other.
Once again the sweet smell released into the air.

"It's sweet like you."
