"Wait, how did you get back?" Vanya asked.

"In the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time," Five explained to his siblings.

"That makes no sense," Diego admitted.

"Oh, I get it," Elli smiled and nodded to Five.

"How could you possibly understand that? You're, like, ten?" Diego gave her a glare.

"Well, imagine if you had one of those photo recoding devices from the olden times. As you take a video, the person moves from slide to slide. They are moving through every slide as time moves. Ergo, it relates to what Five said because their picture or pictures is moving through every slide to get to the end," explained Elli.

Five thought about it in his head before he started to nod. "Not the right wording, but good job. You're very smart for your age." Elli smiled at the complement.

"Also, I'm twelve. Not ten, Diego," she looked to Diego.

"And, it would make sense if you were smarter, Diego," Five spoke. Diego went to launch at him but Luther put his arm out so he didn't move anywhere.

"How long were you there?" Luther asked.

"Forty-five years. Give or take," Five said as if ut were nothing.

Luther collapsed back into his seat. "So what are you saying? That you're 58?"

"No, my consciousness is 58. Apparently, my body is now 13 again," Five put the other piece of bread onto the other and picked up his. . . Peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich?

Elli gagged at the thought. I mean, why would someone put peanut butter and marshmallows together? They aren't even in the same food category. One is made of nuts, one is a candy. Just to think about it grossed her out.

Speaking of candy, Elli has never tried candy. She wanted to when she was little, but her mom always told her, "Elli belly, candy gives cavities. Candy is bad." Michelle wanted her to wait until she was older to try candy. Though Elli followed her moms rules, she still wanted to know what it tasted like.

"Wait, how does that even work?" Vanya asked, still confused.

"Delores kept saying the equations were off," Five took a bite out of his sandwich. "Eh. Bet she's laughing now."

"Delores?" Vanya gave a confused look as Five grabbed a marshmallow of the cutting board and popped it into his mouth.

"Hmm. Guess I missed the funeral," he spoke as he picked up the newspaper is Reginalds face on it.

"How'd you know about that?" Luther gave a suspicious look.

"What part of the future do you not understand?" Five asked his brother. "Heart failure, huh?"

"Yeah," Diego answers, but Luther cut him off with a, "No."

"Hmm," Five hums before clicking his tongue, putting down the newspaper article. "Nice to see nothing's changed. Well, besides little one here," Five motioned to Elli.

"Uh, that's it? That's all you have to say?" Allison shouted as Five made his way out of the kitchen.

"What else is there to say? The circle of life," Five continued before stopping and turning around. "Nice to meet you, Elli," he gave a tight lipped smile then left to wherever.

"Nice to meet you too!" Elli waved excitedly.

"Well. . . That was interesting," Luther spoke as Klaus just shrugged. The siblings then dispersed into their own places while Elli stayed in the kitchen.

"See Mace, now I've met Five as well," Elli turned to the side to see Mace sitting on the kitchen table.

"Elliana, your brother is a snack that I might just devour," he gave a devilish smile, leaning his chin on the palm of his hand.

"Mace whatever your middle name is Acker, hush your mouth. Now come on. I need to bask in glory on how I beat your cheese cube eating record," Elli stuck here tongue out at him then exited the kitchen.
