"THERE YOU GO, BABY, YOU'VE GOT IT NOW," Mary patted Elli's back as she got her math problem correct.

It was November fifteenth and it was the last lesson of the day. The week to specific. She didn't have anything else to do that Friday so she was going to help around the flower shop.

"Put your books away and get dressed while I grab my keys then we can head to the shop, okay?" Elli nodded as she picked up her math books and notebook with her writings and work in them then began to bring them upstairs to her room to put away.

Once finished, she put on the yellow work dress and her white headband on. She slipped on her matching yellow flats and headed down the stairs to where Mary waited.

"All ready," she smiled and Mary placed a kiss on her forehead and exited the house. They entered the car and began to drive to the flower shop.

Halfway through the ride, Elli grabbed Bonnie's shades off the dashboard and put them on. She tapped on Mary's shoulder as they were at a stop light and put her hand under her chin as she showed them off.

"How do I look?"

"Beautiful, darling," Mary faked a British accent as she began to laugh.

Elli smiled as the car began to move again, passing by a clothing store. What she didn't know was that Hazel and Five zapped from the future right where they just passed.

Mary parked the car behind the store and they both got out, heading to the back door. They moved to the front to see Bonnie helping out a customer. Elli began doing her job which was watering the plants until she heard an array of gunshots near the store.

"Get down!" Elli shouted as everyone ducked down and covered their head as gunshots spread throughout the store.

Bonnie moved over and covered Elli's head and looked around for Mary who hid behind a counter. The gunshots stopped after a few seconds and everyone got up, checking on one another.

"What was that? Who was that?" Bonnie got up and walked outside the store to see three bleach haired men a couple stores down near Elliot's shop.

"Whoever they were, they're gone," Mary spoke as she held Elli tightly.

Elli still wasn't over her fear of gunshots. They noticed her fear when they went to an amusement park one time during the spring. There was a game where you had to use a fake gun to pop balloons.

Now, they thought it was balloon popping that scared Elli but, oh no, it was the gun sound. Living in a country state wasn't easy too. But good thing no one hunted often near where she lived.

"Hey, it's okay. They're gone now," Mary kissed the top of Elli's head as she began to calm down from shaking. "How about you go to the back and take a breather, alright?" Elli nodded and led herself to the back.

She began to phase in and out of invisibility as she looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. Speaking of invisibility, she hadn't told a single soul of her powers. Not even to Debbie.

She was scared on how they would react. The only way she would tell them is if they were to walk in while it was happening.

"Okay, Elli breathe. Breathe," she talked to herself in the mirror as she still phased. "As Mace always said, "In and out. In and out". Listen to Mace," she told herself.

She took a deep breath in, paused, then a deep breath out. She stopped phasing in and out of invisibility and regained her calmness.

Elli collected her self then tuned around to see Bonnie and Mary with their jaw dropped. Bonnie hold a dirty rag in her hand which fell to the floor.

"What the fโ€”"

"So, let me get this straight," Bonnie started as she held a glass of red wine in her hand with a few blackberries floating around in it.

They were all back at home now and were in the living room. Elli siting on the chair while the married couple sat on the couch with wines.

"You and your "siblings" are from two-thousand and nineteen and one of the so called "siblings" happened to have caused an apocalypse, am I correct?"

Elli nodded. "Yep."

"Which ended up in your "brother", Five, to time traveled you all away so you wouldn't die. But, you ended up here in nineteen sixty-two. Alone. Right?" Mary asked and Elli nodded once more.

"Right on the money."

"So you lied to us?" They gave ashamed looks.

Elli sighed and nodded. "I'm sorry. I didn't think you would find out this way. Please don't get mad or make me leave."

Mary chuckled. "We're not going to make you leave, baby. We would never do that."

"This just caught us by surprise, you know?" Bonnie spoke and Elli nodded. "But, what happens if your siblings come back for you? Are you going to go with them?"

Elli thought for a second. "Depends if they even remember me enough to come back for me," she stood up and went to her room.

She sat on her bed and sighed as she flopped on her back. "Well, Cutie, looks like they found out," she plopped the rabbit on her stomach. "I'm glad they didn't overreact or anything. That would've been worse, am I right?" Elli watched as the rabbit twitched its nose and placed her head down on Elli's chest.

"You're lucky you don't have to deal with all of this," spoke Elli as she pet Cuties back. "This is complicating," she looked at Cutie. "What am I gonna do about it? I don't know. We'll see how it goes," she answered the bunny as if she talked.

Elli checked her watch to see it was now near eleven thirty. "Well, I'm kinda tired and I know you are too, so let's go to bed, shall we?" she changed into her pajamas and slipped into bed, letting Cutie get comfortable in her spot in the corner.

"Goodnight, Cutie," she looked towards the night sky to see the Little Dipper. "Night, Mace," she gave a faint smile before falling asleep.

It was two days later, the seventeenth, when Elli was in the kitchen putting dishes away. They had just finished dinner when Mary had cooked some homemade lasagna with shrimp. It was to die for.

She put a plate on the towel when someone knocked on the sliding door. Elli looked at the door to see Debbie holding something in her hand. She walked up to the door and opened it allowing her in.

"Now, what are you doing at your girlfriends house at," she looked at the watch Debbie gave her. "seven-thirty in the evening when you have school in the morning?" Elli crossed her arms as Debbie chuckled.

"I come bearing gifts," she held out the piece of paper.

"What's this? "Hoyt Hillenkoetter and the Consulate General of Mexico in Dallas cordially invite you to a gala." A gala? What's a gala?" Elli handed back the invitation to Deb as she went back to doing the dishes.

"Hon, it means that we're going to our first dance together," Deb wrapped her arms around Elli's waist and kissed the base of her neck.

"What do you mean we're going?"

Deb spun Elli around towards her. "Elliana Bennett, will you go to the gala with me? Will you be my date?"

Elli chuckled as she leaned forward and kissed Debbie. "Yes, I would love to," she smiled and Debbie grabbed her cheek and brought her into another kiss.

"Yay! We can even go dress shopping tonight. I've even got money," she smiled and started to dry the dishes for Elli.

"Wait," Elli called. "What about your dad? Is he going?"

"Yes, because it's a party for his boss, but, he won't be in the car with us going or coming back so we're good. Then after, we could have a sleepover if you want?"

"I'd love that," she kissed Debs cheek. "Now, let's finish these so we can go dress shopping for you and I."

โ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

"What about this one?" Debbie held up a yellow dress with a bow in the center.

"No," Elli shook her head.

"You," she put it back up. "are difficult, my lady. You've said no to all of the ones I've chosen. How could you not like any of them?"

"They don't go good with you at all. Here," she picked out a dark blue navy dress with sleeves. "try this one on."

Debbie looked at it before giving her a look. "Blue. Seriously?"

"Just trust me. I know someone with really great style. They would agree with me too," Elli smiled as she thought of Mace.

"Okay, fine. But, find a dress for yourself while I try this on," she smiled and headed towards the fitting room.

Elli went to a colored dress rack and went through a couple. While doing that, right across the street, Five, Diego, and Lila were sitting in Elliots living room space above the store.

"Of course Dad would be involved in the assassination. I should've know," insisted Diego.

"No, you're jumping to conclusions," Five denied.

"What else is he doing standing on the grassy knoll, holding an open black umbrella on a sunny day in Dallas the exact same moment the president gets shot?" Diego looks at the tape recorder.

"It doesn't look good, I admit," Five shrugged.

"No, he's the signalman for the whole goddamn thing."

"Easy, Diego. Seriously."

Diego shook his head, not believing a thing Five was saying. "No, it makes sense. This is what Hazel was obviously trying to tell you," Diego pointed to Five. "We have to stop Dad from killing the president."

"Diego, calm down, all right?" Five requested. "Dad was no Boy Scout, but presidential assassination? It's never been his thing."

"How would you know? You skipped out on his golden years," Diego huffed.

"Skipped out?" Five scoffs. "You think I had it easy, Diego? I was alone for 45 years. You know what?" Five put his hands up in defense, annoyed. "We don't have the time for this right now. Dad's clearly in Dallas, right? Let's just go talk to him. Maybe he can help us fix the timeline."

"Dallas is a big place," said Diego. "We need to find him first."

"Gee, if only we had some magical old-timey was of finding people and there addresses," Five leaned back on the counter.

They soon searched the yellow pages and found the address of D.S Umbrella.

"He okay to leave here like that?" Diego asked Five as he lifted up the projection screen, pointing to Elliot who was tied up, grunting through the cloth that was stuffed into his mouth.

"Yeah, he's fine," Five waved a hand. "What about the girl?" Five looked towards where Lila once resided and saw she wasn't there anymore.

"Shit," sighed Diego as he headed towards the closet.

As he did that, Five went over to the notes of the anomaly's that appeared in Elliots alleyway. He looked at five anomaly's. Luthers, Diego's, Allisons, Klaus', and Vanya's.

Not even bothering to check on Elli's.

"Okay, ready to go?" Diego knocked Five out of his thoughts.

"Yeah, all good," he turned to Diego heading down the stairs. While passing by a table, some flowers sighed by Elli were sitting on the table in plain sight.

A new clue on them finding another sibling, but they choose to ignore it.

"It looks so pretty, Elli. I can't wait to get you ready," Mary smiled as she looked at Elli's dress.

Elli decided on a floral dress with black flats. It looked beautiful with her skin tone and her eye color.

"And you're sleeping over at her house after, right?" Elli nodded as she watched Bonnie gaze at her dress.

"Can't believe it! Our girl is going to her first dance!" Bonnie squealed and grabbed Elli's hands. "You're gonna look so pretty. Are you going to dance with her?"

Elli nodded. "I also want to tell her that I love her." Bonnie and Mary have shocked looks. "I've been wanting to tell her for a while, so, if I get to dance with her then after I will. Hopefully, she'll love me back," she rubbed her hands on her pajama pants.

"She will, hon. I'm sure of it. Now, get some sleep. You've got a big day tomorrow," Mary kissed her head and left the room.

"Hey, Bon? Can you stay for a sec?" Bonnie looked towards Elli then sat down next to her, moving Cutie onto Elli's lap.

"What is it, sweet cakes?"

Elli started to fiddle with her fingers, picking her nails which became a bad habit. "Were you nervous to say I love you to Mary?"

Bonnie pondered for a minute before nodding her head. "Yeah, I really was. You see, I was dating this guy before and he was kind of a joker type. It took a while for me to trust him but then he broke my heart." Elli gave a sad look.

"After that it took a bit for me to understand what love was so that if I met someone, I would know it was real. So, then I met Mary and dated her for a while then I found myself in a place where I knew I loved her. I told her and she had the same feelings and it's just history now," Bonnie looked at her wedding ring with a smile.

"Hopefully, I'll have the same happy experience one day. But, we're moving one step at a time. And the first is to see if she loves me back," she hugged Bonnie. "Thanks, Bon."

Bonnie hugged her back and kissed the top of her head. "No problem, sweet cakes," she stood up and began to exit the room and Elli layer down completely. "Love you, darling."

"Love you too, Bon." Bonnie clicked off the light and closed the door, leaving Elli with Cutie.

"Do you think everything will go alright tomorrow, cute stuff?" she asked Cutie as if she could respond. Cutie flared her nostrils before laying down on Elli's stomach. "Yeah. I hope it will too."

โ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

Elli had her dress on and her hair done for the event. She had two small braids leading to the back of her head and the rest of her hair was out. She was waiting patiently for Deb to come over and get her.

She was pacing furiously and Cutie was watching her as she did that. Her head was swaying side to side as she watched Elli pace. "Cutie, I'm nervous. Should I just not do it?"

Cutie flared her nostrils and gave her the same look as always.

"You're right," Elli nodded. "I can't chicken out. I've been waiting days, no weeks, no months, no one year to tell her that I've loved her. And, I need to get it out of my system. Thanks, Cutie," she fed the rabbit an ear of lettuce. Cutie almost ate the whole thing in a couple of seconds until her attention was taken by the doorbell ringing.

"Okay. This is it, Cutie. I'm gonna tell her," Elli picked up Cutie as she had the lettuce in her mouth.

"Coming!" she placed Cutie on the couch and opened the door.

Debbie was wearing the blue dress Elli picked out with the necklace Elli got her and she looked beautiful. She gave a nice smile and gave Elli a hug. "I'm so excited to go. I can't wait!"

"Me too!"

"Come on," Deb grabbed her hand. "my mom's waiting in the car. I've also heard that Kenny is going too, so we'll see him there."

Now, Elli also told Kenny of the plan she was going to do. The expression he had was kinda mixed. It looked as if he were faking, but put on a facade for Elli to see.

The ride to the consulate was about thirty minutes long. Elli fiddled with her watch, fingers, dress, literally anything. Debbie reached over and grabbed her hand, seeing her nervousness and gave her a smile of reassurance.

As they were arriving at the consulate, Diego, Five and Lila were sneaking inside. "I don't see Dad anywhere," Diego looked around as he plucked a glass of champagne from a woman who was walking around with a tray.

"Just keep an eye out for the Majestic Twelve," Five moved from Diego's side. "I got the upstairs. Oh and Diego," Five grabbed his attention. "don't try to do anything stupid," he gave a tight lipped smile then headed upstairs.

As he passed by the door, Elli walked in with Debbie and Elizabeth. "Wow. It's so fancy," Elizabeth looked around in awe as Debbie and Elli walked in hand and hand. "I'm gonna go find your father. Go dance, eat, or something," she dismissed the two.

The two headed towards the food table and started to dig in to the assortments of fruits, vegetables, and crackers. Elli fed Deb a fruit piece as Debs eyesight was pulled away by something.

"Kenny!" she ran over and game him a hug. "Good to see you here!"

"Hey, Debs! Hey, Elli," he gave Elli a wave and a fake smile.

"Let's go dance!" Debbie grabbed Elli's hand, but Kenny stopped her from going.

"Could you maybe do one dance with me? Not as a date though. The person I like wasn't able to make it and I'm kinda bummed out," Kenny asked and Elli nodded beginning to step forward. "I meant Debbie," he smirked.

Elli looked at Debbie and she let go of her hand. "We'll only be a few minutes. Until the next song starts, okay?" Elli knew nothing was gonna happen so she allowed it.

The song playing was going to end in a few seconds, so Elli just began to eat again. When the next song started playing, Kenny grabbed Debs hand and dragged her to the dance floor.

Elli watched as they laughed with each other and kept getting closer and closer. She turned away and began walking to another area. Hopefully where she could avert her attention.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," a voice called to her who bumped into her side.

"It'sโ€”" Elli looked up and saw Grace who was wearing a pretty black dress. "okay."

Elli's face made Graces smile turn to a frown. "Are you okay, honey?"

Elli shook her head. "Yeah. Sorry. You just look like someone I know."

"Have we. . . met before by any chance?"

"No. No, we haven't. I'm Elliana. Elli for short," she held out a hand.

"Grace," she shook hers.

"Are you here with anyone tonight? Because if I had a face like yours, I would be pulling all the men. . . Or woman," Elli joked as Grace laughed. A real laugh. One she hadn't heard in years.

"Well, I'm here with a man named Reginald. He's in a meeting upstairs right now though. What about you?" she asked.

"Hard to explain," she reminded herself that people who were gay weren't excepted yet, and if someone heard she could be ridiculed.

"Okay. Well, have a fine night, hon," Grace smiled and began to walk off.

"You too, Grace," Elli waved and walked back to the dance floor.

Walking to where she saw Kenny and Debbie, they weren't there anymore. She started to look around when she noticed two people outside on the balcony. She walked up to them about to say something but she saw the unimaginable thing happen.

Kenny and Debbie kissing.

Debbie had her hands pressed against his chest while Kenny kept his arms tightly around her waist.

Elli felt as if she couldn't breathe. As if the world around her moved violently and she didn't even have time to prepare.

Her head hurt.

Her chest hurt.

Her heart hurt.

Everything hurt.

She took steps back before turning around and beginning to make her way out of the consulate. In the corner of her eye, she could see Kenny smirking behind her back.

She made her way through the consulate and exited the grand doors out to the front lawn where all the cars were. People were starting to spill out so she thought the party was over.

She started to walk down the big green lawn until she bumped into someone. "Sorry," she wiped her eyes and looked up to see a light-skinned woman in a blue dress. She looked familiar. "Have we met before?" Elli asked mid tears.

"No. No, we haven't before," the woman insisted and then walked away.

Elli could care less about what that meant, so she kept walking. Far away from the consulate and far away from Debbie.
