"Wake up!", you winced a little as a hand came down to move you.

You flickered your eyes open and jolted up almost crashing into the person waking you up.

"Calm down, that's not good for your heart rate", Namjoon chuckled.

You took some deep breaths, taking his advice as valuable.

And then your eyes widened again, you felt a bed under you and a quilt over you.

"W-wait how did I get here?", you asked abruptly.

"You were sleeping here last night so...I figured you were here naturally", Namjoon was confused at your question.

How were you supposed to tell him that last you remembered was sitting on the log in the middle of the night. You had no idea who could've brought you here back to bed.

"Is there a problem?", Namjoon asked.

"Never mind", you passed him a smile. They had treated you fair enough except for...Jungkook of course so there was no reason being mean to him.

"Well I came to wake you up because you have to join us quite early this morning because you are coming hunting with us", he said as a matter of factly.

"Wait w-why do I have to go?- I mean i'm not quite fond of this forest of yours", you nervously chuckled remembering almost getting killed by wolves and falling into the fall. Indeed this forest was cursed.

"Don't worry, we will protect you plus the other wolves in the village don't really like you so leaving you here will be causing more danger to you than in the forest", Namjoon explained and you thought it over and came to the conclusion that he did have a point.

"I'll be out in a few minutes", you sighed putting on your shoes from under the bed.

You were once again surprised since you did not remember removing your shoes last night.

Out your small window you could see Namjoon waiting patiently for you outside. You looked at a cracked piece of glass that was hung up as a mirror.

You had been here for hardly a week and you looked horrible. No one would even be able to recognize you as the princess. Your hair might have been the only thing you could control as you combed some strands to get straightened out by your hands. Your face even had a random scar on your left cheek but then again the many wounds and bruises you had could be attributed to living in a forest. Your commoner dress you had worn to escape the castle was ripped at several parts. Your shoes...well let's just say they were doing their job and that was enough.

You walked off looking like that out the cottage door and right into the wolves who were waiting outside for you.

They were conversing when they passed you a look of worry and began whispering amongst each other. The only one not doing as the others and passing you a blank annoyed stare was Jungkook.

It made you sort of self conscious as you tried to cover yourself with your hands.

"You could use a change of clothing", Hoseok was the first to speak.

"I- I didn't bring any", you cursed at yourself for carrying every other thing in the word in that escape bag of yours but nothing to change into.

"We have excellent tailors in the village so that should not be a problem", Hoseok gave you a thumbs up as you relaxed a little.

"But you need money", Jungkook spat coming closer to you and looking you up and down, "and you need to be a wolf", he scoffed as he walked away.

One of these days your fists were going to meet that pretty boy face of his and no one would be able to stop you.

"Ignore him Y/N", Jin shook his head disappointedly.

"Can we go, now that everyone is here?", Jimin impatiently asked.

"Yes, I found some new routes and territories, I think it's safe enough to hunt in", Yoongi brought out a thick piece of paper and laid it on a trunk log which was being used as a table.

"Alright, me Jimin and Yoongi will head that way", Jungkook guided his finger towards the map, "And Namjoon, Hoseok, Jin and Jimin will go that way", he whirled his fingers around the map as you tried very hard to pay attention. The last thing you wanted was to get lost in the forest...again.

"A-and what about me?", you asked.

"Try not to die", Jungkook rolled his eyes as he started heading off with the other wolves behind.

"Come on Y/N, you're fine", Taehyung stayed back to guide you.

They eventually morphed into wolves in order to get to their destination faster but once in a while, the wolves would take turns letting the others go ahead as one stayed back with you.

You were still unable to tell them apart in their wolf forms but you found out it was easier to talk to them this way then when they were humans. They couldn't judge you or talk for that matter.

So you found yourself ranting about Jungkook to the wolf next to you as the six others went ahead.

"And he's so rude, what did I ever do to him! it's like he doesn't even care that I exist, I know I'm a human and he's a wolf, I guess there is some conflict but jeez does he not know nothing about respect!", you scoffed.

The wolf next to you began to growl.

"Ok we are here!", Jin stated as you saw the wolves ahead turn into human form one by one, Jin, Jimin then Taehyung then Hoseok then Namjoon then Yoongi.

Wait! if they were all up ahead that meant...

You gulped as you turned around to look next to you and you were standing face to face with Jungkook. Yikes! All this time you were backbiting about Jungkook to...Jungkook.

His teeth were gritted as he narrowed his eyes at you, his fists clenched.

This time...Jungkook's wrath for you was rational but instead of saying or doing something, to your surprise, he just walked away to join the others.

You followed slowly behind, in the end you rather deal with Jungkook's wrath then get stuck alone in the forest.

"Ok we do as we planned back at the village, hunt whatever you can find!", Jungkook commanded. In this very moment, you could definitely see how Jungkook was the alpha.

The wolves ran into the directions they planned on as Jungkook turned around to you.

"Stay right here", he hissed. You realized he did not have to tell you twice.

You managed to find a decent enough rock to sit on but when you did, you realized you had been walking so there was some sort of activity keeping you warm but now as you sat here in your torn up gown, you were silently shivering due to the forest winds.

Jungkook was about to leave after making sure you were safe not that he cared, he just didn't want blood of a dead princess on his hand.

He saw you shivering which sent goosebumps through his body too. He rolled his eyes, this bond stuff was getting super annoying.

He walked back towards you as your eyes widened.

This was it, he was going to kill you while the others were away, this is why he brought you here, this was his entire plan.

When he stopped right in front of you, you put your hands out in front. "I'm sorry okay, I-I didn't mean to say all the stuff about you, please don't kill me", you pleaded.

He shook his head in disappointment as he took off his jacket and draped it around you.

"I better get it back without any damages", he told you and went away like the others without giving you time to say anything back.

You thought he was going to kill you...Phew!

But why would he give you his jacket, it was a subtle...kind action and the last time you checked kind and Jungkook did not belong in the same sentence.

You still were thankful as you wrapped the jacket around you properly, for a little while at least, you were safe.

Little did you know that there were fangs near you and not of wolves you knew well enough to know they didn't want to kill you.

Sheila stood behind a tree, a little further behind you. She was well hidden from your line of sight. "That's the girl", she whispered to a man beside her.

"That solves my dinner problem", the man smirked as he eyed you viciously.
