"I did it," said Hyunsoo, looking down at the big blood stain, "I killed ms. Ahn"

He had a big lump in his throat, and his eyes filled with tears. Soojin pursed her lips, standing a few steps away from him. She was looking at him, trying to not look at the woman's blood.

"But you did what you had to," she said, making a step forward, "She was trying to kill us... me... I know that she wouldn't blame you, Hyunsoo. No one blame you for it"

A few tears dropped on the ground, when the boy blinked. He took a deep breath.

Soojin had no idea, what happened on the roof. But what she knew, was that this thing made Hyunsoo act different. And of course, the killing of ms. Ahn, had a big effect on him, but beside that he acted cold to everyone else. He didn't even look at the girl after leaving the lobby.

But Soojin tried to get with him anyway. She walked to him, and put a hand on his arm. Hyunsoo was still looking down.

"I know it's hard to you," she said, her lip was trembling, "But you need to talk with me, Hyun. What happened out there? Why are you letting him stay here?"

Meanwhile, Uimyeong was watching both teens from the outside of the room, looking through the small window in the doors. He was angry. Even if he couldn't overhear their conversation, he knew that it's not anything good. That girl was trying to ruin everything. She was Hyunsoo's soft spot.

Soojin looked at the boy, waiting for his answer.

"He helped me"

"But how? What happened to all the other guys?"

"Soojin, you don't have to know everything," murmured harshly Hyunsoo, still looking at the ground

The girl clenched her teeth, trying to stay calm. She was tired of all of this, and the boy was making it worse. Why he distanced from her in only few hours? What did she do wrong?

"The thing is, that I have to," she said, "I told you that I'm gonna stay by your side, even when you'll get tired of me. That's what I'm doing now. I'm annoying you? Sorry, but I don't care about that, I'm trying to help you"

"But I don't need your help. You're not someone that can make me feel better or made up everything. Just let go"

Hyunsoo didn't think that what he was saying might be rude. He didn't want to hurt the girl, acting the way he did, it wasn't his intention.

But Soojin didn't seem hurt. Just disappointed. She grabbed boy's chin, and lifted his head, making him look at her.

"I'm sorry that I can't magically take your pain away. If I could, I would do it right away," she said, looking the boy deep into the eyes, "I promised you, that I'm not gonna leave you, and I'll stand by that. But okay, if you're so tough right now, acting that you don't need me, I can leave you alone. Just so you know, you can always come back to me. I'll wait for you"

Soojin stood on the tiptoes, and gave him a kiss on the head. She took the hand off his chin as the boy looked down again, tear strolling down his cheek.

The girl put her other hand on her wrist, holding the bracelet that she got from him. Her lips were trembling, as she walked out from the room, feeling that the tears soon gonna escape her eyes. She noticed Uimyeong standing in front of the room looking at her with no expression on his face. The girl clenched her hand in the fist.

"The fuck are you looking at?" she hissed, and walked away. She wiped her cheek, murmuring to herself, "Fucking weirdo"

Uimyeong smiled, watching the girl disappearing on the corridor. Then he looked at Hyunsoo still standing in the room with his head down. He knew exactly what he was supposed to do.

Hyunsoo is the weapon, but someone had to pull the trigger.

"What am I supposed to do? I feel lost, you know? And I'm really tired. I don't remember when was the last time I got some sleep for more than two hours. But I need to stay up, because in every second something can happen. The worst thing is that there's no many of us. I mean, the people that can do something. It was you, Jisu and Jaeheon, now it's only me, Sangwook, Yikyung and Eunhyuk. Other people also try, but they are scared too much, and they are taking care of each other. I can't even say that Hyunsoo is with us, because I have no idea what he is doing. He's avoiding me, that's what I know. I know it's pathetic to say, but I'm not sure if he cares about... me anymore. Gosh, it's embarrassing to say out loud, you would probably laugh at me. All I want is, is to things go back like it was weeks ago. Even if that would equal living with my father. I just want things to be normal again. You know what I mean?"

Soojin looked at the grave which she was sitting next to. She was holding in her hand sand, and was looking at the cross with Park Nayeon written on it.

"Shit, you can't even answer me," chuckled nervously the girl, "I miss you Nayeon"

She wiped her cheek when a tear escaped the eye, dirtying her skin. She took a deep breath, and unfolded her hand. The sand fell back on the grave.

Soojin took the pack of cigarettes, when to the room walked Sangwook, holding the bottle of soju. She turned her head to him, and bowed slightly, when the man stopped. He wanted to walk away, but Soojin stopped him.

"Who are you visiting? Jaeheon?" she looked at the grave next to Nayeon's, "Then sit down, I'm leaving anyway, I won't bother you"

The man walked to the grave, and sit down as she told him, and Soojin stood up, but this time Sangwook stopped her.

"You don't have to leave," he murmured

The girl smiled slightly and came back to her place. She sighed, taking out one cigarette. She pulled the pack to the man, but he shook his head.

"I quit"

Soojin raised her eyebrows, "And why is that? Is it because of some girl with asthma?" she put the cigarette in her mouth

She said that, meaning obviously Yuri. It wasn't so hard to notice that the man, even tho he doesn't show it so much, cares about this woman.

Soojin exhaled the thick smoke in the man's face, smirking a little. He rolled his eyes, and opened a bottle of soju. He pulled it out to the girl, who take it with a head nod, as she took a big sip of drink. She sighed and gave it back, but Sangwook just held it. After a few seconds, he poured the whole drink on Jaeheon's grave. Soojin was surprised, but she tried not to show it, as it obviously was something important.

"I think that you should take your chance till you still can, ahjussi," murmured Soojin, digging the small hole with her finger, "Who knows how long time we have? It's time to stop hiding with our feelings. And I know that you have one"

She put a cigarette in her mouth and inhaled. She looked at the graves.

"Do you sometimes wonder who will be next?" she asked

"I thought that you are more optimistic," said Sangwook, avoiding giving her answer to that

Soojin shrugged, "I think I'm tired of it. Everything is going uphill, and I don't really see, how it should get better"

She pursed her lips, looking down at the ground.

"Maybe I'll smoke"

Sangwook pulled his hand to take the pack of cigarettes that Soojin put on the ground, but she quickly grab it, so he couldn't reach it.

"Ain't no way. You said you're gonna quit, and I'm not gonna be part of your loss," she said, putting the pack to her pocket, "I thought that you're more durable, ahjussi"

Sangwook lowered his head, but smiled slightly, "I guess we both had different expressions of each other"

"Apparently," Soojin exhaled the smoke in the man's face again. The girl stood up, looking down at Sangwook, "Now you have a moment alone, I'm not going to interrupt you. You can talk out loud with him, it really helps"

She smiled sadly, and the man nodded his head.

The girl left the "cemetery", looking for Eunyoo. She was nervously playing with a gold bracelet in her hand, not taking it off the wrist.

"Eunyoo," the younger girl turned around to Soojin who ran through her hair with fingers, "I want to ask you for a favor"

Eunyoo raised her brows, "What is it?"

"Don't make fun of me, but..." she raised her hand, so the girl could see the bracelet, "If something happens to me, I want Hyunsoo to have it. I don't want to get buried with it"

Eunyoo pursed her lips, "Just shut up. Why you have to assume that something has to happen to you? Soojin, it's annoying"

The girl lowered her head and smiled, "But can you do that for me? Please"

Eunyoo felt a lump in her throat. She was looking at the jewelry on the girl's hand, with her thoughts thinking about her passing away. Of course, it wouldn't happen, but Eunyoo was stressing about that. Nayeon died, Jisu almost died, and what if Soojin would leave her too?

"Alright IF anything happens, I give it to him back," the girl rolled her eyes, "But come on, we both know that we're gonna survive"

Soojin's lips trembled, but she tried to smile, "Yeah, of course"

The alarm went on, and the girl heard screams. Soojin's stomach twisted, as she started to running with Eunyoo in the direction of the chaos.

Yeongsu was holding back by Suyeong, while Seungwan threw the Molotov cocktail on the monster coming out from the vent. It looked like a green smile, formed in the shape of a human, pulling out his arm. Yeongsu was crying loudly, and screaming at the man to stop. Byeongil ran to the corridor, pulling the machine with him that could start a fire.

"What are you doing?" yelled Soojin

"It's a monster!"

"He's my friend!" cried the little boy, "He saved me!"

Soojin squatted next to him, taking his hands in hers, "He did?"

The boy nodded his head, crying loudly. Byeongil pointed the gun at the monster.

"Don't do that!"

"Stop it!"

Soojin turned her head to Hyunsoo. His eyes widened, seeing the scene in front him.

"It won't attack us," he said

"Well, yes, but..."

"You don't know how it'll change!" screamed ms. Son

"Shoot it! It's a monster!"

Soojin looked surprised at Suyeong who said that. Why did she say that, especially when Hyunsoo is standing next to them?

"Suyeong! What are you saying?" said Soojin, trying to stay calm, "Your brother just told us that it saved him"

Byeongil turned on the machine, starting to burn down the monster. It started squeaking loudly, while Yeongsu was screaming terrified. Soojin froze, seeing Hyunsoo's face expression. He looked down, when monster rolled back to the vent.

Soojin squatted to Yeongsu, taking him in the arms and lifting him from the floor. She started swaying with him, trying to calm him down.

"Yeongsu, it's okay, your friend will be alright," the girl give him a kiss on the head, as the boy sobbed in her neck. She saw Hyunsoo turning around, where stood Uimyeong, "Hyunsoo..."

"I guess you were right all along," he said to the man, ignoring Soojin, "Humans and monsters can't possibly coexist"

The girl felt stitching pain in the heart. She walked to him with Yeongsu in her arms, Suyeong next to her.

"Hyunsoo, you know that it's not true..."

"You saw what they did!" he turned around to her, "Even if the monster would be harmless, humans won't let them live!"

"It can't be helped," said Uimyeong, taking a step closer to Soojin

He pulled his hand to touch Yeongsu, but the girl quickly took a step back.

"Don't touch him," she hissed

Eunyoo grabbed Suyeong's hand, and embraced Soojin with an arm. The girl was on the verge of breaking down

"Come on, there's nothing we can do here," she pulled the girl away, but before they left the turned her head to Hyunsoo, "Even an outcast should be picky about new friends"

Soojin was taking deep breaths, trying to stay calm and not cry for such a stupid thing. The girls with kids walked away from them, disappearing behind the corner.

Uimyeong got up from the floor, "You seem to have a lot of friends"

Hyunsoo was watching four of them leaving him, before speaking up.

"I have no such thing"

Jisu was sitting on the bench, holding her head on Soojin's arm, as the girl had her cheek tilted on Jisu's head.

"I was thinking," started the younger girl, "That when everything is gonna end, maybe you would like to go somewhere with me. There's this place that I always visited with Nayeon. It's the bar, but it has this cool vibe, like the coffee shop from the eighties. And I know that they were looking someone to hire that could play music in there, so it would be great if you would volunteer, hm? What do you think?"

Jisu smiled, thinking about this vision, "That would be great, I always wanted to play in a place like that. Thank you"

"Of course. And I was thinking that if I lose my job in the restaurant that I worked in, I could get hire there, as plan B," continued Soojin, playing with her fingers, "They would let me bake for them, and I love to do that. Can you imagine how cool it could be to work together? And after ending our shift, we would be coming back, me with cupcakes and you with your guitar"

Soojin smiled to herself widely, thinking about it. Jisu also couldn't stop the smile, mostly because of how girl get excited.

"By the way, did you see mr. Han?" asked Soojin, moving her head to look at the girl, "I'm worried, because I couldn't find him in since you know... him getting shot"

"I... I think that he went to his apartment," said unsure Jisu

Soojin raised her eyebrows, "Why? Is he okay?"

Jisu shrugged, "I don't know why, but I think he'll be alright. Maybe he needs some space, you know, it can be hard for him at first"

Soojin pursed her lips. She was worried about the man, and facing the turning alone for sure is a hard thing. She hoped that he is okay.

The girl's talk was interrupted by a man's screams from the corridor. They both stood up, Jisu grimaced a little, grabbing Soojin's shoulder to not fell.

The girls left to go to the lobby after hearing a loud thud and sound of glass shattering. The first thing they saw, was Sangwook laying on one side, and Yuri on others. Jisu let go Soojin's shoulder, as she went to the laying girl.

She twisted her on the back, wanting to check on her. The girl tried to catch the air, making a sound like she was choking. She had an asthma attack. Soojin checked the pockets of girl's jacket and pants, but she didn't have the inhaler with her.

"Stay still, Yuri, just wait..." the girl murmured, trying to find the way to help her, "What are you doing, you psycho?!"

She yelled that to Uimyeong, who walked pass the girls. Soojin realised before that he was the reason of this big thud, it wasn't a big secret.

The man walked to laying Sangwook and took from his hand keys of the car. The gangster tried to take them back, but he couldn't.

"What's going on?"

Soojin looked at Hyunsoo who also appeared in the lobby.

"They were trying to leave," Uimyeong showed him the keys

"She has an attack!" yelled Soojin, "She can suffocate, she needs help!"

Hyunsoo looked at the girls with no emotions on his face.

"It doesn't matter," he said, turning his head to Uimyeong

"If they report us, the soldier will come"

"We won't be here by then," said Hyunsoo, "Because I'm gonna leave with you"

Soojin's mouth dropped, unsure if she heard the boy correctly. She felt her heart shatter. The residents looked at him shocked.

"Hyunsoo, what are you talking about?"

He ignored her, and squatted to Sangwook. He took the keys from Uimyeong, giving them to the other man. Hyunsoo grabbed him by the jacket, lifting him from the floor.

Sangwook tripped on his own legs, falling again, but he crawled to the girl. With Soojin's help, he put Yuri on his back, holding her close to him.

"Let them go. They'll die anyway" said Hyunsoo to Uimyeong

Soojin's eyes widened. She got up from the floor. She walked to the boy, and grabbed him by his sweater, shaking him rapidly.

"How can you be so cold-hearted!? What the hell happened to you?!"

She felt a sore feeling in her throat. Hyunsoo looked at the girl on the verge of crying with no emotions.

"Why can't you be yourself again?" she yelled, hitting him on his chest, "I miss my Hyunsoo, the one who cared about others. What did he do to you?"

"There was never your Hyunsoo"

The grip on his sweater was very tight, as the girl almost collapsed on the floor. She hit him once again, and the boy didn't even try to stop her. He felt a lump in his throat, hearing her breaking voice and seeing tears in her eyes.

Uimyeong scoffed watching her, and turned around in the direction of Sangwook with Yuri on his back who were running forward.

He raised his hand with a gun, and pulled the trigger.
