-Your POV-

It was the first day back at school after Winter Break and everyone was buzzing about Prom.

I never was really big fan, but I guess it'll be fun, "hey y/n, you excited about Prom?" Millie asks, walking up to me "I don't know, a little bit"  "Come on, it's fun and you'll have a date" she says "yeah, I guess but we'll see"

"Oh I heard you got your stitches out!"  "Yeah I did, yesterday" I say, just then I saw Chloe and Noah

"Hey guys!" "hey" Chloe said. "Hi y/n" Noah said.,"Y/n was just telling me she got her stitches out" Millie said. "oh that's good" Chloe said.

"Oh! Also how was your date with Finn?" Millie asks "it was fun" I say "Did you guys you know" Chloe said.

"oh my god, guys!" "well did you?" Millie asks "yeah we did but--"  "omg! Holy shit!" Chloe squealed. "Were you bottom or top?" Millie asks "both"

"Yeah girl! Wow you get some" Chloe chuckled.  "guys you're being too loud can we please talk about something else" 

"Um I have to go to the bathroom" Noah says and quickly walkrd away, "Okay, so how was your trip and everything?"

"It was good, it was nice seeing my old friends, and I uh I saw my dad..."  "wait what?" Chloe says "what'd you do?"

"Well I had an anxiety attack but I'm fine now, but Finn doesn't know I don't want to worry him about it so please don't say anything" I say "Yup you have my word" Millie says "Me too" Chloe says "thanks" I smiled.

"Well I have to go guys" I say, looking over at Finn waiting at his locker "okay bye y/n/n" They said.

"hey whore" I said and kissed his cheek "hey " he chuckled. "So about this prom thing, what's special about it?" I ask "I don't know I've never been stupid"

"shut up" "haha but yeah I think it would be fun, no? "yeah but I don't know if I would go" "ohh"

"But I don't know we'll see, besides it's a few weeks away" I add, the bell rang and we walked to Science class.

"I'll talk to you in a bit" I walked over and sat next to Asher, I hated sitting next to him but I can't do anything about it.

"Hey y/n" Asher said. "hi" I didn't look at him and just got my textbooks out "so you have a date for the prom?" He asked.

"Um I have a boyfriend and I don't know if I want to go" I replied.  "Oh yeah, Finn forgot about him" he says "mhmm" I rolled my eyes and started to listen to Mr.Newby.

-TIME SKIP-

-Finns POV-

"Hey, Noah!" I yelled and quickly walked up to him, "hi?" He says "hi, um I have a favour to ask you" "ok what?"

"I'm going to ask y/n to the prom but I need help with it" I say "so you're asking me?" He questioned, I nodded my head yes "Aren't you forgetting that I'm still trying to get over her?"

"Right. Okay well I'll ask someone else then" I  walked off, I saw Millie so I walked up to her. "Hey Millie" I say "oh hi Finn" she smirked. "I need a favour about something"

"Okay what is it?" She asks "I'm going to ask y/n to the prom but I don't know how to ask her" "just ask"

"But I want to ask in a fun way like with a banner or some shit, you're her bestfriend so what are some thing she likes?" I ask "shouldn't you know you're her boyfriend and you live next door to her"

"Yeah, I know but what are things she wants that she's only told you but not me?" I ask "I guess I could lend you in on a few secrets, uhh she likes roses, think a bit outside the box, surprise her make her feel special that's all she wants just someone that makes her feel wanted and special" she explained.

"I already do that though come on Mills think of something" I plead "Ok, ok uhhhh oh! Put a blind fold on her take her to a special place and ask the question with roses or candles or whatever you like"

"I guess that'll work Thanks" I say and give her a hug, "Hey guys" I hear y/n's voice and I pulled away from the hug "hey"

-Your POV-

I looked for Finn and I saw him hugging Millie, I felt a weird feeling, but why? He's just hugging her.

"Hey guys" I spoke up "hey" "Hi y/n, I'll see you later" Millie says, I smiled but it faded away. "What were you guys talking about?" I ask

"Oh just some things about prom" "And you had to hug?" "Don't worry" he said.

"Ok... well you have some cigarettes?" I asked "yup right here" he takes it out and taps the box, I took a cigarette out and we go to our spot.

-TIME SKIP-

The rest of the day went by slowly, Finn wasn't really around and Millie wasn't either, I know I shouldn't think this but I feel like he's seeing her behind my back. he did like her before he met me.

I was walking to my locker and I heard Finn talking with Millie, "I want to wait a couple days" I heard Finn say "That's okay whenever you're ready" Millie said.

I felt my heart drop, what were they talking about? I quickly got my stuff to my locker and Finn walked up to and smiled but I quickly walked away.

"Hello students of (I forgot the school name;-;) prom is coming which means you need to nominate your prom Queens and Kings, I hope y'all are excited for the night to come and hope most you will be having a date!" someone from the PA said.

"babe, what's wrong?" I heard Finn ask, I quickly sped up my walking. "And I hope to see everyone wearing fabulous dresses and tuxes or whatever formal wear you like because in a couple of weeks we will be rocking the dance floor!"

I was stopped by a gentle grab on my wrist, "What's wrong?" He asked
"I heard you talking to Millie" I said "What do you mean?" "It sounded like you to were keeping something a secret"

"Shit it's not what you think, and I don't want you to think that, so I guess... I was going to ask you to prom..." he frowned. "Oh. Shit I'm sorry" I say

"No don't be, I just needed Millie's help"  "Oh so I ruined it?" "kind of. but it's okay, I'll still ask you "of course I'll go with you" I smiled.
