-Your POV-

It was New Years eve (11am) and we were leaving my grandparents house, Finn thinks that I'm coming after New Years but I'm gonna surprise him.

"Bye grandma and grandpa thank you for everything!" I say as Sophia, Mom and I leave their house for the airport

"Bye guys love you!" Grandma says "Be good, Stay away from boys!" Grandpa says making us chuckle

We got into the taxi and they drove off.

-TIME SKIP-

We made it home (11:45pm) and I carefully went to the back of Finn's house where his mom was waiting.

"Hi y/n! How was your trip?" Finns mom says, hugging me "it was good" I say "Finn is going to be so happy when he sees you, he's been whining all week" she says "Oh I know" we both chuckled.

"Okay so the countdown starts in ten minutes, do you mind waiting that long?" She asks "It's okay, I'll wait"

-TEN MINUTES LATER-

"Okay y/n, come" Finn's mom whispered as the countdown goes down.

"Ten"

"Nine"

"Eight"

"Seven"

"Six"

"Five"

"Four"

"Three"

"Two"

"One!"

I went up behind Finn and whispered: "Happy New Year" I smiled and gave him a gentle yet passionate kiss.

Finn was smiling so big and I could tell he was really happy. "y/n/n oh my god! you're here!" Finn exclaimed and gave me a big hug. "Yeah, I wanted to surprise you" I smiled.

"When did you get back?" He asked still smiling. "about 45 minutes ago" I say "Oh my god, I missed you so much" he hugged me again and kissed my cheek.

"I missed you too" "Let's go upstairs" he took my hand and we walked up to his room, "I have your present on the bed"

I went over and there was a bag and a present wrapped up and alittle box "Ooo what'd you get me?" I ask "Open it" he said.

I opened the bag and it was a y/f/a hoodie, and a necklace with y/f/i on it. I opened the wrapped up present and it was a picture of us.

"You stole my idea" I joked."No, we just think the same" He smiled. "Open the next one"

I opened the box and it was a ring, "It's a promise ring" He said." it's beautiful, thank you" I kissed his cheek and put the ring on.

^That was like the only one I could find

"You're welcome I tried to find stuff you'll like" "It's okay, I love all of them"

"What's wrong?" I ask, noticing Finn was staring at me. "I'm just really happy you're here" "me too" he walked over to me and kissed me passionately.

We began to makeout and he lightly pushed me against the wall, we walked over to his bed, our lips not breaking and layed down. I knew where this was going so I lightly pushed Finn off.

"Did I do something?" He asked, concerned. "No it's just, I don't know if I'm ready" I look away. "that's okay"

"I know, but I want to but... what if, when we do it or whatever, the condom breaks and you forget to pull out or there's a hole in it, or you hurt me?" I asked. "I won't hurt you and if you're not ready then we don't have to, I can wait." He smiled.

I sat there is silence, contemplating, I sighed and looked at him "I don't know, I'm sorry" I frowned. "don't be, I have all the time in the world" "Thank you" I smile and kiss him again.

"Let's go back downstairs and celebrate the new year" he said.
