Mom, Sophia, and I were going last minute Christmas shopping together, Christmas is tomorrow so I doubt there won't be good options.

I was getting dressed and got a message from Finn.

You: that looks a little wrong Mr.Wolfhard 🤨 is it c u m 👀📸

Fink🐸 Y/N NO.

You: HEHAHHAJABSHA

Fink🐸 😭anyways, I miss you :(

You: it's been a day- you can live without me

Fink🐸 I can't actually 😐

You: Okay well i gtg so I'll call you later

Fink🐸 okay, bye<3

you: bye

I turned my phone off and went downstairs to leave with Sophia and mom.

-TIME SKIP- 

Sophia, Mom and I finished Christmas shopping (without eachother knowing) and put our present in our rooms.

I quickly walked to Eddie's house and he smiled with joy as he opened the door.

"Hi y/n/n" he said. "Hi ready to go?" "yup everyone else is meeting us there we just have to pick up Richie" 

We got into his car and drove to Richie's house. I stayed in the car as Eddie knocked on his door.

He got into the car and  I turned around and smiled "Hi, I'm y/n" I say and smile "Hey, I've heard a lot about you" Richie said.

We drove to the mall and saw Ava, Olivia and Emma waiting in the front
"Hey guys! So I was thinking we should do a secret santa, I got the names" Ava said. "sure sounds fun" I said.

Ava took out a hat from her bag and we each took out a name.

I closed the paper up and put it in my pocket "so meet up here in a few hours?" I asked."yup"

We walk our separate ways but I stook with Eddie and Richie "So who'd you get?" Eddie asked. "I'm gonna tell you"

"I got Emma" he said. "I got Ava"  "I got you" Richie said to me."Oh" "Sorry, I don't know you well so" "it's okay I'll help you" I smiled.

Eddie, Richie, and I walked around the mall, going into the stores wnd finding some things for our presents.

"So you two a thing yet?" I asked, both of Eddie and Richie's cheeks went red. "No--" Eddie says "not yet at least" Richie smiled.

"I always secretly shipped, so I'm really happy you two are gonna date soon" I say "thanks" Eddie says "yeah, he's a cute one, and funny thing is we have the same names as those characters in that clown movie" Richie chuckled. 

I chuckled at the two, "If you two don't date, I'll die" I chuckled.

"Y/n/n? Is that you?" I heard an oddly familiar voice.

I turned around and saw someone I never thought I would see again, someone who abused me for 9 years and caused so much mental health issues.

My father.

I tense up and Eddie had noticed, my breath hitched and slowly stepped back.

"Dad?" I say, I held back tears and looked at Eddie in pure fear "hi. What are you doing with fa***ts?" He asked.

"Wait Eddie is her dad you know" Richie whispered "He uh abused her, it's a long story" Eddie whispered back.

"What are you whispering about little f*gs?" He asked and walked towards them."You can't say that, and don't hurt them!" I said.

"I can say what I want"I noticed he wasn't drunk, like he usually was. "You aren't drunk..." I trailed off. "yeah, I sobered up, while you were around I needed something fun to do so you don't annoy the shit out of me but now that everybody is gone I stopped" He said.

I felt my chest clench and my lip quiver."Wow, good for you"  "Don't use that tone with me"

"You don't tell me what to do, I don't take orders from you I don't even know you"  "Awe how nice"my vision got blurry from the amount of tears I was holding in.

"Get away from please" I mumbled. he smirked and walked forward like he did when he was about to slap me.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I yelled and made everyone's attention go on us, I started sobbing, I felt so scared, my palms were sweaty, and I was shaking, I felt like my throat was closing up.

"Ay! Is there a problem here?" A security guard asks "Yes, there is please get that man out of here" Eddie said.
"You're coming with me" the guard handcuffed my dad and took him away.

My dad gave an evil grin and mouthed 'Merry Christmas' I sobbed even more, I started hyperventilating and sat on the ground and cried harder.

"Um Eddie what's happening?" Richie asked as I started breathing faster. "Shit, she's having a anxiety attack" Eddie said. "Y/n/n I'm gonna call your mom" I nodded my head response.

Everyone came around to see what was going which made me more nervous, I was shaking so much and my head was pounding from the amount of tears coming out.

"There's nothing to see here fuck off!" Richie yelled at everybody. "Hey Ms.L/N y/n's having an anxiety attack" Eddie

"yeah we're at the mall and we saw y/d/n" As soon as Eddie said that I heard my mom yell through the phone "No he didn't do anything, he just walked really close to her which scared her" he explained. "we're near the back entrance, okay I will, bye"

"Y/n/n your mom is coming okay?" Eddie kneeled down infront of me and rubbed my knees. "O-o-okay" I stuttered out.

"Y/n you'll be okay, just breathe with me" Eddie said. I followed his lead as we breathed in and out slowly.

"Okay, okay just keep doing it, think happy thoughts, what makes you happy?" He asked.

"Uh F-Finn, M-m-my friends he-here and ba-ack  home, little b-baby pandas" I say. "okay, think about those"

"I have this pompom on my wallet for her to squeeze if that helps" Richie says "Perfect, thank you" he says "Squeeze on this okay?" Eddie says "okay"

I can't believe I'm having an anxiety attack in the middle of a mall, everyone was staring but trying not to. I saw mom running towards us.

"y/n, oh my god" She says and kneeled infront of me."What happened?" She asked "D-dad he- he- w-was here, and he was s-sober and c-alled Eddie -and R-richie the f-f-slur and I-I thought he was g-going to h-hit me" I managed to get out through choking up and crying.

"Oh my god, okay we're going to get you out of here" mom helped me help, and wrapped her arm around me

"I'll give you boys a ride" she says "okay,  I have to call the others" Eddie says we got in the car and I slowly started to breath normally but still was shaking.

We dropped off Eddie and Richie and made it to my grandparents house, my eyes were really red and puffy and so were my cheeks and nose.

I was on the couch wrapped up in a blanket watching jingle all the way. mom came in with soup and a tray and handed it over to me.

"Thanks" I say "you're welcome sweetie, are you feeling any better?" She asks"Little bit" I drank my soup and looked at her "please don't tell Finn, I don't want to worry him or know just keep it between us" I say "okay honey"

I smile as she walks off and I continue to eat my soup, I got so many texts and call from the others but I didn't want to answer them right now.

I was emotionally drained and I just wanted to sleep, this was far most the worse experience ever.
