Author's POV

Riya finished her work and quickly went to Angad's cabin, knocking before entering. She placed the files on his table. “Sir, it's done.”

“Okay, now go and have lunch,” he replied without looking up.

Riya left, and shortly after, Angad's phone rang. He picked it up immediately.

“Angad, quietly close your laptop and eat the food I just sent you.”

A smile appeared on Angad's face as he leaned back in his chair. “Okay, my beautiful chachi, but please don't scold me like Maa (Siya).”

She giggled, and after a few minutes of chatting, he hung up and stepped out of his office. He headed to the canteen, where his team was having lunch. Angad took great care of his staff, ensuring the cleanliness of the canteen and often joining them for meals when he was running late. His eyes fell on Riya's table, and he overheard their conversation.

“By the way, which girl will look good with Angad sir in this photoshoot?” Soniya asked.

“Huh, what's the big deal? He's so charming and handsome; any girl will look good with him in a photoshoot,” Riya answered, comfortably eating.

“Well, that's true,” Soniya agreed.

“And don't pay too much attention. We're not looking for a girl for his marriage.”

“Speaking of marriage, will Sir invite us to his wedding?” someone else chimed in.

“Whatever happens, if he invites me, I will definitely go for the wedding dinner,” Riya said, thinking about food.

“What has your dear husband prepared, Today?” Riya teased Soniya, who blushed.

“My favorite pasta,” Soniya admitted.

“Ooooo...” the others teased.

“Girl, your husband is so good. He takes such good care of you. I, too, have a dream of...” Riya stopped when she noticed everyone staring at her. She shifted uncomfortably and corrected herself, “I mean, it feels like a dream to me, even now.”

They all smiled.

“By the way, Mr. Sinha looks quite romantic...” Soniya pointed at Riya's hand. Riya looked at her hand, where there was a bite mark, and her eyes widened in shock.They all laughed at her reaction as she tried to cover her hand. “Looks like you forgot to apply foundation today,” Soniya teased, and they all laughed again.

Riya faked a laugh and blushed, thinking to herself with a crying face, “Oh shit, in yesterday's fight, Navya bit me. This is her mark, and they think it's something else.”

As Angad passed by, everyone fell silent, noticing him in the canteen. He grabbed his lunch box and started leaving, but as he did, his eyes met Riya's.

Nisha stepped out of her room and headed towards the kitchen, where Drishti was busy packing food. She noticed that it was for the office. Stepping inside, she offered, “Can I help you with something, Chachi?”

Drishti looked up and smiled, “No dear, everything is done. I just need to send this to the office.” Just then, her phone rang. She picked up quickly, “Vyom?”

“Drishti, the file I kept safe last night in our room—I need you to bring it to the office,” Vyom requested urgently.

Drishti thought for a moment and replied, “Okay.” She turned to Nisha, “Beta, will you do a favor for me?”

Nisha responded immediately, “Yes, absolutely. What do you need me to do?” Drishti smiled and went to her room, saying, “One minute.”

She returned quickly with a file and handed it to Nisha. “Your chachu asked for this file to be brought to the office. I would go, but I have some other work right now.”

Nisha hesitated for a moment but agreed, not expecting to be asked to run this errand. She took the file and the food box, then headed outside where the driver was waiting as usual. Seeing her, he opened the car door. She got in, and they drove off to the office.

Singhania industries

Vyom sat in his cabin, eagerly awaiting a call. The person he was expecting was a bit late today.

A few minutes passed and finally, his phone rang. He picked it up immediately.

“Bhai... You took so long to call me... and where is that idiot? He didn’t think to call me either.”

“Chote...” The man on the other end interrupted him sternly. “Not much time has passed, just 10 minutes. We just reached the hotel. I called you immediately,” he added, softening his voice. “And he’s ordering something to eat for us.”

Just then, Vyom heard a knock on his cabin door. He gestured for the person to come in. Nisha entered, handing him the file. “Chachu, you asked for the file.”

Vyom took the file from her. “This is your lunch,” she said, opening the box and placing it on the table.

“Have you had lunch?” Vyom asked her. She shook her head.

“Do one thing, go to Aadir's cabin and have lunch together. Your aunt must have sent extra food for you.”

“Okay...” Nisha nodded and left.

Vyom turned his attention to the food, inhaling the aroma and recognizing his bhabhi's cooking. To tease his brother, he said, “Well brother, I’m eating delicious food prepared by sister-in-law.”

Abhiram, knowing Vyom’s teasing tactics, didn’t say much but felt a pang of longing for his wife and her cooking.“How are all my children?” Abhiram asked.

“Everyone is fine. Samar came home yesterday.”

“Samar has come? I miss my baby a lot,” Abhiram said, thinking of his son's innocent face.

“Yes, he and Devit were playing with Aadir for a long time last night,” Vyom laughed. “I’ll drop him home today.”

“If he says something, don’t react. Just ignore it,” Abhiram said seriously.

“There’s nothing like that, bhai. He doesn’t say anything now.”

“I don’t trust him, Vyom. Some wounds remain the same, no matter how many years pass,” Abhiram said, his voice heavy with emotion.

Vyom fell silent, unsure how to respond.

“Okay, you have your lunch. I’ll keep it,” Abhiram said as he saw Abhimaan coming out of the washroom.

“Hmm, take care,” Vyom replied before hanging up.

Nisha knocks on Aadir's cabin and comes inside without hearing his reply.

She sees him.... working on his laptop with great attention. She walks towards him and snatches his laptop and closes it.

Aadir glare at her for doing this... When she sees Aadir glaring at her she says “chachi has sent lunch, eat it first.”

She walks from there to the sofa and sets his lunch on the table kept there.

Aadir gets up from his chair and comes towards her and sits down on sofa after opening his coat. His eyes fall on the food where there is extra today and he understands that aunt has sent it for Nisha also.

He starts eating his. Nisha looks at him sometimes and says “okay, you eat and I will leave.” As she doesn't want to disturb him in her presence.

She is about to get up from her place. Aadir listens to her and looks at her. He says ‘sit’ stopping her. Nisha looks at him in surprise, he puts food in front of her and says “eat it...”

Nisha is quite surprised but smile slightly, sits comfortably keeping a safe distance... and starts eating beside him.

When Aadir sees her eating, he starts eating his own.

He knows that it is not their fault and he will not leave the person who did this Because of him/her he had to lose his brother and someone else too... but once Nisha reaches her destination.

The goals of both of them are very different, but for some reason they are stuck together.

I know you have done a lot for me and because of me you have to suffer a lot But not now, very soon, I want to see my friend happy again with his happiness. Nisha says to herself with determination.

Riya is going to her home in a cab after office. After some time, she reaches in front of her house where the doors are already open and some sounds are being heard. She goes inside where Navya is watching TV grumpily. She takes off her bag and sits tiredly on the sofa.

She hears the sound of her parents fighting and looks at Navya, not understanding anything.

“What happened to them?”

“Because of some other person, they are fighting.” Navya tells her and gets up from there and brings her the glass of water.

Riya takes it while giving her a smile. She knows that she doesn't like someone fighting while she watching TV.

Riya goes to the room and changes into normal t-shirt and pajamas.

“By the way, did your boss say anything about the morning incident?” Navya asks when she comes out.

“No, he was just staring at me angrily.”

“You know, your boss is very handsome, di.”

“That is very true but his entire family is like this. And especially his father, he is still very handsome. Meaning, at this age who would say that he is the father of two handsome boys.”

They set up their dinner and their parents also come out and start eating together.

Singhania Mansion

Everyone is at the dining table for dinner and Divit is looking very sad. He is just playing with his food.

“It's okay champ.., Samar will come again, and meet him tomorrow at school.” Aadir said, seeing him sad.

“And yes Aakriti is also alone, Aarush and Tanya are also not there.” “Now eat your food.” He looks at her and nods.

Just then, Angad is coming with a luggage. Everyone looks at him and seeing that bag properly.

Divit leaves his food and a smile appears on his face and he goes outside running happily.
