The next few days were the same routine, school, then the library with ponyboy or watching the sunset together. And the best part about it was it was their own secret and nobody even knew. Not her parents, friends, or her brother it was a breath of fresh air she needed.

Her everyday life felt like she was in an endless loop. But when she snuck off with Ponyboy everything just felt so much simpler.

It was friday night and thankfully her parents were going be out for the weekend and Steven was with his girlfriend, so that left Juliet to have some freedom. Rocks pattered against her window which snapped her out of her concentration on the book she was reading.

She looked out her window to see Ponyboy waving his hands up at her, she smiled and laughed as she raced downstairs to let him in, "sorry im in my pajamas" she laughed and opened the door for him.

"All good" he rubbed his neck, "ill be right back" She promised as he nodded his head, shit compared to Ponyboys house Juliettes house was a mansion, he stared in awe as she soon came back downstairs in a skirt and sweater.

"Okay im ready" She smiled as he opened the door for her, "so ya dont have a curfew?" He asked as she shook her head "nope my parents are out for the weekend and my brothers with his girlfriend" she answered as he nodded his head and smiled.

The two soon arrived to the drive in, Ponyboy looked to her nervously as he realized they needed to pay "dont worry i have money" she laughed and payed for two tickets, they sat down in the chair section. He felt embarrassed that she had to pay for them, especially when he asked her out on this date.

"Whats the movie anyways?" She asked as he shrugged "dont ask me" he replied confused as Juliette laughed. Thankfully there wasn't to many people in the chair section which made Juliette secretly quite thankful.

Awhile into the movie she felt Ponyboy discretely put his arm behind her which made her smile a bit. She leaned into his shoulder as he fully wrapped his arm around her. Ponyboy smiled to himself as he fidgeted with his fingers nervously glancing occasionally at her with his cheeks growing a maroon color.

Julie started to get a bit cold but somehow Ponyboy was warm actually almost hot, "im gonna go get something from the concession stand, ill be right back" she turned to Ponyboy as he nodded, she stood up and looked at him "what do you want?" She asked him as he pondered

"Umm just get me a coke and popcorn" he answered as she nodded her head and walked away, he let out a shaky breath as with his heart beating twice as fast. She walked up to the concession stand and ordered the food.

She heard voices that she recognized and turned around to see her brother and his girlfriend walking, her eyes widened and she quickly turned back around before they could spot her.

"Thank you" She quickly grabbed the food and speed walked away before Steven could ask who's shes with, soon she arrived to to Ponyboy waiting anxiously for her return. "Im back" she handed him his coke and his popcorn.

"Thanks" he took a sip as she nodded, "ill pay you back when i get the money" he looked to her ashamed as she sat down again. "Oh dont worry about it, it wasn't that much" She assured as he nodded and popped a few pieces of popcorn into his mouth.

Her eyes darted around looking for her brother which made her anxiety rise along with Ponyboys and he had no idea what was going on, "hey you good" he tapped her shoulder as she turned to face Ponyboy, "yeah im good" She assured him as he nodded his head unwillingly.

"Did somethin happen at the concession stand?" He asked concerned as she bit her bottom lip looking around, "i um just saw my brother" she replied quickly and looked around, "if he sees you he'll be pissed" she replied nervously as his eyes widened.

"Whos he here with?" He asked as he looked around too, "his girlfriend i dunno though they might be with their friends too" she replied and picked at her cuticles subconsciously, "shit" he mumbled as she looked at him worried.

"Whos your brother?" He asked as she looked at him weirdly "Steven why" she answered as his eyes flashed with worry, "ponyboy whats wrong with my brother?" She asked nervously and continued to pick her cuticles.

"He's one of socs that beat me and Johnny up once" he answered as Julies eyes widened with fear and betrayal, "a-are you sure?" She asked as he nodded his head to confirm. "Shit" she mumbled as Ponyboy looked around for any socs. Thankfully they were towards the back so they weren't easy to spot.

"Listen pony im so sorry about Steven, i mean i knew he was a ass but not that much of one" she apologized profusely with her voice shakey as he smiled a little, "its alright trust me it happened awhile ago anyways" he assured her as she nodded slowly as sat back into her chair.

His arm found its self back around her as she rested her head on his shoulder, the movie soon finished which was good because Juliette was on the verge of falling asleep anyways.

Yawning she leaned out of Ponyboys touch as he gathered their trash up, "should we wait incase of my brother?" She asked as he stood up and helped her up, "nah i know another way to get out" he replied and smirked a bit as Juliette looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"No way im jumping over that fence!" She protested as Ponyboy laughed, "cmon ill catch you i promise" he reassured her as she picked her hands. "Are you sure?" She asked as he nodded again "i am sure" he replied as she nodded slowly and began to climb the metal fence.

"This is impossible to do in a skirt!" She complained as Ponyboy laughed and braced his arms to catch her. She neared the top and looked to Ponyboy, "do you do this for fun?" She asked while laughing he nodded his head and laughed.

"Okay im gonna jump!" She told him as he caught her in his arms bridal style, "see it wasn't that bad" he smiled as she laughed. There was a moment of eye contact between the two before Ponyboy set her down, and man her heart was racing and so was his.

The walk back to her house was quiet but comfortable, and Juliette felt safe with ponyboy unlike the other Greasers. As they neared her house he took off his jacket and put it around her.

"Here since last time you couldn't keep it" he smiled as Juliette laughed, "thanks pony" she smiled and hugged him, "thanks for tonight" she let go and looked into his eyes, "yeah your um welcome" he replied while his cheeks blushed. She started walking to her house as she waved goodbye.

I love them sm aw. Anyways im literally so exhausted because i had a Ballet intensive this week, and then next week i start cross country and my calves hurt so bad 💀
