A few weeks had passed since the tussle at school, and Halloween was nearing but Juliette wasn't that excited for it since she was a kid anymore and didn't plan on dressing up.

"Are you guys going to the Halloween dance?" Carly asked her friends while walking to lunch. "I dunno probably not gonna be able too" Juliette rolled her eyes as she looked to her friends. "Whys that?" Laura asked curious as Rebecca looked to her. "Seriously Laura?" Rebecca looked to her with a raised a eyebrow.

"What?" She asked confused as juliette looked at her friends. "Because of that stupid fight between Ponyboy and Micheal. My dad is pissed about it" she explained while they walked into the cafeteria.

"That sucks im sorry Julie" Carly looked to her sadly as she nodded her head, "tell me about it" she retorted as she went to grab her lunch. "She seems so drained dont you guys think?" Rebecca looked to her two other friends worried as they nodded their head agreeing and followed after their friend.

They sat down at their lunch table as Juliette picked at her food, "hey julie are you okay?" Carly asked her as she looked up to her friends. "I honestly dont even know, Ponyboys a great boyfriend and i really really like him. But its just my dad ruining it for me" she explained as they nodded their heads listening to her.

"And then a few weeks ago me and my dad got into a argument, and i snuck out and went to Ponys house. Hes just always there for me, and im scared that my dads going to try to take him away" she told her friends as they looked at her sadly. "We're always going to be here for you, i hope you know that" Laura assured as Juliette smiled sadly.

"Thanks guys" she thanked them and looked down to her food again. "No problem" Rebecca smiled at her friends as they continued to eat and chat occasionally.

School ended finally which made Juliette relived but also anxious because she would have to go home. Ponyboy met her outside of the school as he smiled a little at her. "Hey whats wrong?" He asked her as she turned to him.

"Im just a bit tired, im fine" she assured as he nodded his head and wrapped his arm around her. "Hey, none of the boys are going to be at the house do you wanna just hangout there?" He asked as she nodded her head and smiled a bit up at him.

"Also i was thinking for Halloween do you wanna go to the drive in and see one of the cheesey scary movies that are playing?" He asked Juliette as she smiled. "Yeah of course" she smiled up at him as they walked down on the sidewalk.

The houses they passed were festooned with jack-o lanterns, along with fake cobwebs and other decorations. Along with the leaves turning a orange color and crunching with every step they took.

"A bunch of people are going to the Halloween school dance, but that sounds so boring" he told her as she nodded her head agreeing, "i know right!" She agreed as he laughed a little.

They sat on the couch in the Curtis house as Juliette curled up next to him while under a blanket and listened to him read Gone With the Wind, one of the couple's favorite traditions to do.

He had just finished a chapter as she looked up to him, "pony?" She asked as he looked down to her and made a hm sound. "I want you to meet my parents at a dinner, at my house" she told him as his eyes widened a little bit.

"O-oh are you sure?" He asked her stuttering, "yeah im positive, i just need to rip the bandaid off" She assured and grazed her finger over his cheek. "What day?" He asked as she pondered on a day. "Im going to ask my parents first and I'll let you know" she told him as he nodded his head and kissed the top of her head, and began the next chapter.

Friday night rolled around the corner, as Juliette stood in her room deciding on a outfit to wear. She opted for a orange sweater with white pants that she had recently got, and because it was to cold to wear a skirt.

She put on her shoes, touched up her hair and makeup and grabbed her jacket and walked downstairs, "im going to the drive in with ponyboy mom" she told her mom and kissed her cheek. "Okay honey, your dads in his office by the way" her mom told her as she nodded her head.

"If he asks just say im with friends" she pleaded to her mom who sighed and nodded her head, "okay honey, have fun. And be safe" her mom kissed her head. "I will i love you" she waved goodbye and walked out the door.

Ponyboy was shuffling along the sidewalk as she jogged up to him and smiled up at him, "hey beautiful" he smiled and gave her a kiss. "Hey pony" she whispered against his lips. "You ready?" She asked as he nodded his head and they walked down the sidewalk to the drive in.

"Did you ask your parents yet?" He asked as she shook her head no, "not yet, my dad has been to busy at work" she looked him and shrugged as he caressed her hand. "Its okay, im not rushing you" He assured her as she smiled and rested her head on his shoulder.

They soon arrived to the drive in and payed for their tickets, they sat down as the movie had just begun to start. The Brides of Dracula were playing which Juliette has never saw it but she wasn't sure if Ponyboy had either.

"Hopefully this movies good" He whispered in her ear as she nodded her head and looked around, surprisingly there was quite a bit of people there.

"Im gonna go get some snacks, you want anything?" Ponyboy asked her as she glanced up at him, "um just get me a coke and popcorn" she smiled and turned her attention back to the movie.

He soon came back with the cokes and containers of popcorn, "thanks" she gave his cheek a quick peck and took a sip of her coke. Juliette popped a few pieces of popcorn in her mouth as Ponyboys arm snaked and her shoulder.

She melted into his touch as Ponyboy jumped slightly at a jump scare that popped up on the screen, "are you scared?" she teased while looked at him, he looked away embarrassed. "No im not!" He defended as his cheeks blushed as she laughed a bit.

"Okay" she shrugged and rested her head on his shoulder. The movie ended shortly after as Juliette stood up and stretched and watched the drive in clear out.

She yawned and checked her watch and saw it was nearing ten. "You ready?" He asked as she nodded her head and walked after him. "That movie wasnt even scary" Juliette sighed as Ponyboy looked over to her nervously.

He laughed awkwardly, "yeah totally" he replied unsure as Juliette raised a eyebrow at him. "I dont care if you were scared, im sure your not the only one" she assured him as he looked to her. "You have to admit that one scene was scary!" He explained as she laughed and looked to him.

"Okay maybe a tiny bit" she motioned with her fingers as Ponyboy smiled triumphantly. She laughed following his, at last they neared her house as Juliette turned to him.

"Thanks for tonight, it was really fun. I need it" she thanked him as he nodded his head, "anytime you need some fun, im right here" he smirked as Juliette laughed and leaned up to kiss him. He kissed her back as Juliette wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Ill see you later, bye" she pulled away and stepped back while waving, "bye julie" he waved goodbye smiling as she walked into her house closing the door behind her.
