-- Y/N POV --
"It's dangerous, Sam! ... I love you but your dreams are but that, dreams! Cast them away! Let forgiveness overcome you, do not let this pride swallow you whole!"
I shook my head at the flash of a memory, biting my nail gently as I stared at the ground sorrowful. It had ended, the brief meeting, now I had sat at my residence quietly. Reminiscing...
I had forgiven him... Again I had, this time audibly which had different from the silent forgiveness I had displayed and held to my heart all these decades upon decades...
A thousand "I forgive you" 's.
I felt my mind turning and twisting into an ugly spiral, quickly chanting hymns and little prayers to myself.
"Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me."
I had tensed, feeling a certain solemnity wash over myself. I stared above the ceiling helplessly. In a few moments I had to be headed to the vast ugly-location where all creatures who are to be loathed was kept. I would do my utmost best to treat them fairly ...
Though I felt sick to my core, not at all exhilarated to meet the Princess of Hell.
Old-personal torture it would be... I have never seen her, though. But through Adam, he seemed to find her irritating which to me it had meant she would be absolutely pleasant, as Adam's view had been ... severely tinted.
She should've been mine to have.
I shook my head, singing a soft hymn as my hand had wafted into the shape of a sphere, opening a rippling portal once more, the other side had scared me tremendously.
Dark red speckles floating about as a smell of sulfur seeped through ... I felt my stare intensify, becoming desolate as I had stepped through, a trail of floating bags behind myself. Prior I had bid my goodbyes and had received an array of encouraging words, yet they could not suffice my burning and most-crippling fear.
As the little ripples dissipated behind me, closing into a nothing, I had stood before the tall building of intimidating nature, staring back at me as intense as I felt I had. I had frowned deeply, stepping to stand before the large doors...
I had breathed in slightly, my gaze upon the door becoming steady and soft, my features becoming kinder and less hostile as I had smiled. My hand lifted swiftly to graze along the door, knocking.
Without a doubt, in a singular breath of a second, the door had swung open by great-exciting force.
"Eveningstar! Seraph, Eveningstar! You're here, Hello, Hello!" a kind female voice hastily beamed as her doll-like face welcomed mine. I had not flinced, yet inwardly I had, I kept myself composed, hands to my lap as they overlapped eachother.
"Greetings, dear child of the Morningstar. What an affable welcoming, thank-you." I had slightly bowed, my eyes coming to close briefly, once I had looked towards her once more she had seemed bashful, waving her hand around.
"Aw, that's completely sweet of you! No need to thank me, Eveningstar! I am so happy you've decided to monitor and support our cause!" she spoke kindly, relieved. Her eyes were bright, her face had the same animosity and structure of her fathers, it had felt tortuous to look at her and not loathe the sight. But I restrained, gently placing my palm upon her shoulder.
"Do not thank me yet, child. Many things are still to come, but I will fulfill your needs with all my power as I can, please, let me meet the potential you and this residence holds." her eyes seemed to glitter in regards to my words, she had nodded. I had let go of her as she stepped aside, allowing me to come inside as she shut the doors gently behind ourselves. I had let my baggage gently drop to the floor beside us, deciding to teleport it to my room once it has been given to me.
Charlie had gently took my arm, leading me towards a variety of sinners who stood close to one another, eyeing me with immense curiosity. Charlie had stepped back, facing me now as she had gestured with her hands towards each sinner.
"This here is Vaggie! She's my partner as well as the protector of the Hazbin Hotel!" she spoke enthusiastically, holding onto her lover's shoulders as she gently shook her. I eyed her with a hint of recognition before nodding softly,
"Uh, Hey... Nice to ... meet you... Ms. Eveningstar.."
"Greetings, it's an honor." she had awkwardly nodded, tiny sweat beads dropping down from her head, I offered her an apologetic smile as I turned to watch Charlie move to another sinner, his grin had been strikingly evident, nicotine-yellow daggers gleaming. He seemed to bask in a more sinister aura as the rest had seemed perfectly regular.
"Here's the Radio Demon or, as he prefers, Alastor! He's our facility host, alongside myself!" he kept his expression the same as she had introduced him, I had nodded slightly his way.
"Salutations, sir, honor to meet you."
"Is it true that devine beings of yourself bleed liquid gold?" I had raised my brow slightly, moving my head slightly away,
"It is true. Thank-you for the questioning of trivia... "
Charlie had nervously chuckled, moving along to another sinner,
"This is Angel Dust! He is a resident here, seeking ... er... redemption..?" she spoke unsure-ly, I furrowed my brows slightly, looking over the spider-demon.
Angel Dust could certainly not be his actual name, it had been ridiculous. No Mother would look a child in the eyes and name them such an ugly thing.
"Wonderous to meet you... Angel Dust. Really."
"Ofcourse, toots. Say if 'ya ever wanna blow off some angelic steam, my door's wide open for 'ya." he had spoke with a certain cadence, lifting his brows up and town playfully. I only smiled politely, unsure of his implications.
"Sure."
Charlie had quickly lead me to another,
"Husker! He is our bartender, reluctantly so!"
"... Bartender? In a residence for those seeking redemption you offer beverages of temptation?"
"Surely angels drink an alcoholic drink now and the-"
"Ofcourse. But, the sinners will not be able to regulate it, would they?" she stared a bit nervously my way as I had watched her accusingly, though my expression had quickly contorted back into one of benevolence.
"It is fine, they can learn. Stare the problem in the face and reject!"
"Aha... Yeah. Uhm, here's Niffty... She cleans.. profusely.."
