This is the magic realm. All who reside in this world can use magic at will. Thus, magic has become a natural part of everyone's daily life. A gift believed to have been bestowed by God. Its importance is so great that one's level of mastery even determines one's social status.

But deep within a certain forest…

A deer trembles, watching a certain ravenette working out, pumping up a weight of the dumbbell that no human can lift.

…there is one who stands in opposition to the world's rule.

MASH BURNEDEAD puts the large dumbbell on its holder with a huff as he lifts a paper bag of cream puffs. He takes one and munches on the soft texture of the pastry. "Nothing like a cream puff after pumping." He mutters to himself as the terrified deer stares at him in disbelief.

Suddenly, a whistle reaches his ears, making him look up to find the source. His golden eyes land on a slim figure sitting on a branch of a tree, watching him eating with a smile.

And there is also one who breaks the world's rule.

"Hello there~" the owner of the voice chirps as she jumps down, landing perfectly on her two feet. Mash just watches her in silence as he keeps munching on his pastry, his mind pondering on why another soul is here, in the forest.

(NAME) (LAST NAME) smiles at his stoic attitude as she looks around. "Have you seen a rabbit around here?" She asks the ravenette, who shakes his head in response.

She hums before sending him a grin. "That's one hell of a training you did there. The poor deer is scared, you know?"

Mash shrugs as he swallows the last piece of his cream puff. Only then he can take a proper look at his new companion.

The girl is slightly taller than him, about 4-5 centimetres. She has a pair of (eye colour) eyes and (hair length) (hair colour) hair. Her skin is pale, paler than any human he'd ever seen. However, the first thing he has taken notice of is her unique magic mark.

Instead of lines, she has two black water droplet-like marks under each eye. He wonders if that's normal.

Eh, he himself is an anomaly. So, whatever.

The girl chuckles at his silent treatment as she reaches out her hand to pat his head. "I'll be taking my leave now, kid. See you later," she offers him a smile. "Also, if you find a rabbit with yellow paws, please do tell me. I need to find it, or else my dear colleague will kill me."

Mash tilts his head to the side, confusion evidence on his face but nods his head nonetheless.

"Alright, see ya!" With that, she disappears from his sight. He blinks his eyes once, twice, thrice before realisation hits him.

"Ah."

His pops told him not to let any magic users see him, did he?

Huh...? What was that...?

I've never seen... anyone use a magic wand like that...

Brad slumps down on his knees as he stares blankly at nothing, his brain processing what he just witnessed.

Mash's hand is still in position when he throws the magic wand at the police officer. "Threaten my family again, and I'll kill you." He mutters warningly.

Regro has his jaws dropped, he never thought the training Mash has done all these years would come out with a result like that.

Suddenly, the police officer lets out a chuckle. "That was good. Let's make a deal, mushroom head." He proposes.

"Hold on, officer."

A new voice suddenly interrupts them as they turn to the source to find the same girl that Mash met back in the forest, sitting on the table with her legs crossed.

Brad pales at her sight. "M-Miss (last name)?!" He gasps out, almost stumbling on his own feet. "W-What are you doing here-"

"I would like to make a deal with that kid," She says sternly, her playful manner from before is not found. "Back off."

Brad immediately nods his head and retreats himself from her sight. He stands straight by the wall, watching the crimson cane curiously as he gulps his saliva.

Mash finally gets to see her properly. "Oh, it's you." He murmurs blankly, remembering her appearance from the forest. "Have you found your colleague's rabbit yet?"

(Name) lets out a nervous chuckle, "Not yet, unfortunately." She scratches her cheek. "But I can find it later. Anyways, let's make a deal, Mash Burnedead."

Regro hesitantly steps in, his eyebrows furrow in concern. "Before that, may I know what kind of deal you're making with my son?" He asks, taking one step forward.

Sensing his concern, (Name) immediately assures him. "Oh, it's nothing that would hurt him, I promise!" She promises. "Your son is an interesting person, Mr. Burnedead. He might change the world," she offers him a smile.

Regro heaves out a sigh of relief. "Then please go ahead,"

(Name) express her gratitude by nodding her head softly at the older man before turning to the young lad. "You know, once every year, a single exceptional student is revered as one of God's chosen. They call them the divine visionary." She explains in the simplest way so that the poor boy doesn't get his brain worn out. "All you need is to enroll in a magic school."

She turns her head at Regro who is about to protest. "I'm not making this deal for myself," she murmurs. "This is for his own good. He needs to survive in this world, so he needs to make this world accept him. And that is by becoming a divine visionary." She explains.

Mash stares at her for a solid one minute as he thinks about his decision. "Don't worry, I will surely help you through it, kid." The crimson cane assures. "My task is to create a whole new better world. Everyone is accepted. It's a win-win situation for us, don't you think?" She spreads her arms, a gesture of agreeing to her own statement. "Of course, you're free to decline."

Mash shakes his head, "No, I'll take it. I'll enroll in the magic school." Regro gasps as he protests. "Are you insane?! It's a magic school!"

"I know," the ravenette murmurs. "But I want to live peacefully with you, pops."

Regro covers his mouth using his hands as he cries proudly. (Name) smiles, jumping off the table and walks to the bowl cut teen. She reaches out her hand for him to shake.

"Deal?"

Mash takes her hand without hesitation.

"Deal."

(Name) lets out a sigh of relief as she softens her eyes. "Change this world, Mash Burnedead. Change everyone's look on you." Her fist hits his shoulder gently as he nods his head.

"Alright, I still need to find the rabbit."
