Flashback

TYPE ONE DIABETES. That's what Nick had and since they weren't as educated, none of them knew what it was. It scared everyone, but it mostly scared Nick, Joe, Kevin, and Elisa since the four of them were always so close. And just knowing that he could die if he doesn't take care of himself... it scared them badly. The first few nights Elisa went to bed with tears pouring from her green eyes, deeply scared and worried for one of her best friends, and ever since they found out, Nick's been... different.

The way that everyone knew him was happy, laughing with his brothers and Elisa, and singing at the top of his lungs. So, on the day they found out, nobody told the label cause they didn't want to give them a excuse to drop them and once Nick was free to leave the hospital, him, his brothers, and Elisa had a show to do but they were all hesitant to do it. But Nick say, "Get out of my way. We're doing a show, and we're gonna kill it."

So, the four of them went from the hospital to the show and they just killed it. Elisa, Joe, and Kevin made sure that they were always there to help Nick out with his diabetes and to let him know that he wasn't alone in this. Each show they did, they had more fans than they did the last time; they went from twenty people to five-hundred fans. Things were slowly starting to get better and then, newspapers came out with the heading: JONAS BROTHERS WEAR PURITY RINGS TO SHOW THEIR COMMITMENT TO GOD.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick were a bit embarrassed to know that it was going around while Elisa saw it as the reporters being nosy and annoying. It didn't seem to matter where they were cause wherever they were or whenever they were watching TV, the purity rings always seem to come up; it came out that they're in some cult or that they're these little staged Mickey Mouse kids.

One time, Elisa was with her friends that she met while filming the Disney movie "Descendants" since she was offered the role of Mal, and the Descendants cast had a interview. It was going fine till Elisa was asked the question, "So, you've been best friends with the Jonas Brothers since you were kids, and each one of them are wearing their own little purity ring. What's that about? Some are saying that they're in some cult."

Elisa sucked in a breath to stay calm, "Yeah, uh, I'm not answering that. I'm just gonna say that that's not what they're about," she said, refusing to talk about her best friends' purity rings.

The jokes about the purity rings went on for a while and it was seriously getting them annoyed with it. Eventually, they were fed up with the jokes and Kevin was the first one to take his purity ring off, Joe and Nick soon followed after that, taking their purity rings off as well.

During their tour for the Jonas Brothers Burning Up album, the four of them had just gotten to their hotel room to rest when they discovered that their hotel room only had two beds. Nick and Elisa just slowly turned their heads to look at the ones who were supposed to call about the room while Joe and Kevin just shared a high-five.

"This is why we don't let you two take care of the room." Nick told his brothers, resisting the urge to roll his eyes at his goofy big brothers. Joe and Kevin were the older ones yet Nick was the one who was more mature than them.

"What are you two trying to do here?" Elisa asked.

Kevin and Joe just smirked and took out the latest heading of a newspaper: NICK JONAS AND ELISA EVANS: MORE THAN BEST FRIENDS?

Nick and Elisa blinked at the heading before shouting together at the same time. "No! No! No!"

"Yes!" Kevin and Joe said.

"Again: there's nothing going on between us!" Nick says, his loose curls falls onto his forehead, making him look even more adorable.

"Everyone knows you two like each other," Kevin smirked.

"We're just giving you two a little push," Joe smirked.

"We hate you both," Elisa and Nick said in unison.

"You love us." Joe smirked.

"Have fun, we have a busy day tomorrow," Kevin smirked.

While Joe and Kevin had to share a bed, Nick and Elisa stared at their empty bed, their cheeks turning uncontrollably red.

"Night, lovebirds!" Joe peeked into their room with a smirk, dodging as Nick threw a pillow at him and headed towards his room with a laugh.

"If you're gonna stay up a bit more, don't forget to wear protection!" Kevin peeked into their room with a smirk before running towards his room, laughing after dodging a pillow thrown at him.

"Shut up!" Nick and Elisa yelled, their faces turning even more red, hearing Joe and Kevin laughing like crazy in the other room. Not seeing a way out of this, they both just climbed into the bed to get some rest before the day tomorrow.

The next day, Joe and Kevin were the first ones to get up and peeked their heads into the other room to find both of them still asleep in the same bed. Joe instantly smirked and took out his phone, snapping a photo of this before sneaking out of the room with Kevin and soon enough, Nick and Elisa woke up and went out to join them after getting ready for the concert they had.

"You guys enjoy your sleep?" Kevin smirked.

"What are you talking about?" Elisa asked.

Joe smirked and showed them the photo, only for the two to turn red. "I hate you both." Nick said.

"We love you too, little brother."
